The Three Lights in Wyre

Always call in here on our way home from Blackpool. Called in Sunday around 3.30 and got a table. All staff were very friendly. We met the new management who were also really nice and wished them well with their new adventure.

First visit for several months. We've always been very happy with the food but now under new management and the place was spotlessly clean with extremely attentive staff . We left very happy and will return.

I cannot leave 0 stars, a pint of peroni £6.45 never going here again

I took my two daughters out for lunch. We were the only patrons dining at the time and we received amazing service. Friendly wait staff and bar staff. Served promptly and food was brought out swiftly. Overall great experience even though it was a short visit

We visited today (5th May) and were greeted by friendly staff, allowed to choose our own table and given a bowl of water for our dogs. The toilets were clean too. We ordered a mixed grill and the chicken platter. The food arrived piping hot and was absolutely delicious. We would definitely eat here again.

Was not a good experience the bar staff are slow and there was a young girl that came with the food and condiments she was so rude started off when the threw the knifes and forks down and then not passing people there food and just placing it on the end of the table and it was a empty pub bering in mind too also the food was nothing to brag about most of us had chicken and it was so dry so for that reason I give this a 1 star review

Staff were friendly drinks were cold and refreshing nice to have a pint served from a Chilled Glass

We came for a meal with my husband's sister and her partner. It's the first time we have be n to your restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were told that we may have to wait a little while longer for our meals but we didn't seem to wait very long. The food was delicious, the steaks were cooked as requested and the price was nice. The desserts were pleasing. We had a lovely evening, the in law's said next time they come up to see us from the south, we will have to come again. Thank you for a great evening .

Really disappointing .we had a 1 hr 10 minute wait after ordering our food.eventhough the place was nearly empty. Half the menu was not available. When the food eventually came it was Luke warm possibly been microwaved the chicken was very dry.and the chips Luke warn .very disappointing .as in previous visits the food and service was good. Somefood was ordered via the app but they claimed it had not been received eventhough payment was taken. The staff seemed clueless how the run the establishment.We won't be going there again

We booked for the table for 1pm, 10 of us 5 as mothers on mothers day. We was waiting for over 2 hours for food, the food was not nice, the 2 youngsters kids was left for last for there food which was only dippers and chips. There was not alot of food left, was very disappointed with the service, most of the staff was nice but some was rude. We won't be coming back. My 81 mother was asking what type of sauces they had coz they had no pepper corn sauce left, and the man which was doing our order was very rude to my mother, like he was looking down at her. The only good thing was that they cartered for my 4 year old allergies and cooked her food separately

Similar to others, I booked for Mother’s Day hoping to enjoy a nice carvery with the family. When we arrived I stated I had a booking at 4pm and was told it wasn’t in the system - not a great start. We were then plonked on a free table and left to it, before we realised there was no carvery on (wasn’t warned of this during the booking, on the day, on the website or social channels - nowhere). We ordered some drinks, and then heard the staff mention to someone else ordering that it was over an hour wait for food, and they’d run out of a number of things on the menu. Absolutely shambolic on such an important day, and what was worse was the total lack of updates or information from the business & staff. Thankfully we were able to reserve a table last minute at the nearby Strawberry Gardens, otherwise the day would’ve been ruined. Wouldn’t recommend visiting and we certainly won’t be back.

Arrived at 2 for Mother’s Day, we had booked online. Get sat down and ordered a round of drinks. Go to order food 15 minutes later and get told we have to wait a hour before we can place a food order?!? Why weren’t we told this when we arrived and before we ordered drinks? It was the same lady who sat us down. I know mother’s day is busy but the pub was not full and you prepare for busy days. Felt like they didn’t care at all the staff didn’t want to be there. Shocking customer service. We ended up leaving and ate elsewhere

Absolutely disgusted, was taken to Three Lights Fleetwood , as a table was booked as a Mothers day treat with family , to be told on arrival there is no Carvery, no Gammon or no Steak , we were shown to our table , went through the menu , as we went to the bar to order food, was told we can not be served as they have shut the kitchen because they had run out of food, certainly do not recommend this place

Over 2 hours wait for food, 3 young kids on our party and brought their food out last on boiling plates. Rude staff members. Won't be returning

Book a table for 6 of us for mother's day turn up and there is no food left we didn't get a email or call to let us know thanks for wrecking the day we will never come here again.

Awful in every way. Had booked in advance. spacious for wheelchair. Ordering …meals not available. No Sunday carvery. No-ond told til we ordered at bar. Then when food arrived …items missing. Not offered substitute. Food plain and boring. Something i wud produce on a day i cant be bothered. Waste of £70. Staff boring, uninspired, wrong table, scruffy. Totally awful. I feel robbed. When enquired as to where our food was we were told its busy & time is 1 hr wait. Pub 1/2 empty & wen we left there were only 2 tables still eating. This pub will close this year. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL IN EVERY WAY. Got talking to people on nxt table. Also waiting etc. awful.

Wow a mother's day disaster, this pub used to be so good now it's worse than rubbish. Came for mother's day dinner to be told we could not order food for an hour, even though we had booked a table. People who had booked were being turned away and people had been waiting 1.5 hrs for food they'd already ordered. We were given a dirty table and was asked if we wanted it cleaned 😮😮. 1 person serving at the bar while other staff members just walked around looking busy. Mother's day and they couldn't even order enough food for the bookings they had, even though the carvery here is no longer on 🤷🤷🤷. I can't even give this pub 1 star, and it used to be 5 star.

The worse meal I have ever eaten. I wouldn’t mind but we booked a table for Mother’s Day for 1pm and we wasn’t served for over two more hours. Then the children’s meals came out last and our meals were just horrible. Half way through us waiting for our food someone came and said there wasn’t enough rump steak so we had to op for a different steak then a pie what was ordered wasn’t even cooked. A young girl bringing a steak didn’t even know what the steak was. I think she struggled to even put a smile on her face, probably realised how bad the food was and the service. This use to be a lovely place but we will not be visiting again after today’s farce of a meal. The staff never even asked how our food was or even apologised for the long wait we had. Disgusting service.

Without doubt, the absolute WORST service i have ever had, anywhere on this planet!! Arrived shortly after 5pm, no welcome from the grumpy waitress, queue of about 4 already at the bar ordering food, I asked if we wait to be seated or sit where we like, ignored. So with 2 hungry children, we chose some seats and proceeded to pick our food. I went to the bar, 1 person serving, nobody else in sight. Got to my turn (eventually), very little interaction apart from to tell me that there was no chicken gravy with the burger, no sub offered. Got drinks, paid and went to sit down....the clock went past 1 hour, kids doing their very best not to scream and shout with hunger, 2 portions of garlic bread csme after about 30 mins, hallelujah, devoured in milliseconds!! 1hr 45mins after ordering our food arrived, this after the FOUR other groups in the pub (yes only FOUR (not including the family that walked out) ) had complained (not us), food arrived with absolutely no apology, no recognition of the wait time. To add, had to get our own cutlery and request napkins, with no salt and pepper at the table, Ketchup in the dregs, oh and when I pointed out that all urinals and sinks were blocked in the male toilets, I was greeted with a sort of 'what are you telling me for' response. Having spent a lovely day at the water park in Blackpool and driving for miles to find a 'decent' place to eat, defying the kods want to goto KFC or McDonald's (wish we'd listened), this was a disgraceful experience, never,.ever waited that long for food, anywhere!! As a senior leader in the catering and hospitality industry, I am completely shocked that this place still trades! For the establishment, DO NOT respond with your usual copy and pasted nonsense as per the below reviews!!

Me and my son stopped at the Three Lights today on the way to watch Tranmere at Fleetwood. We had some food and drink and the manager, who was a chap from Coventry informed us that the stadium was o by a 5 minute walk away and said we could leave our car in the pub car park while we attended the match. Would highly recommend this place, the food was great and so were the staff.

Doesn't even deserve the 1 star. Went in today refused to let anyone use their 30% ,off voucher wich was sent by email so why send email when these pubs refuse point blank

An excellent experience from start to finish!

I went on Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm, it was nearly empty, but nice and warm inside. I tried to order from the table as it suggests on the front of the menus, but when you go on the website it says ordering online is disabled for this place. Had to ask for a kids menu as there weren't any on the tables. Went to order and they had run out of beef. We gave up and left without having anything. Went to The Bourne Arms instead and had a lovely meal there.

Limited menu in a place with scruffily dressed staff, no atmosphere and inattentive staff

It's back and better than ever, been a few times recently and not one complaint. If you've not been in a while give it a go.

Had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking and plenty of tables. Pub is large and nicely decorated. Food was lovely, hot ,and prices reasonable too. I was more amazed at how clean this place was. From the toilets to the window bottoms. Not a bit of firt anywhere. Amazing for such a large pub on a weekend. Would defo return without hesitation. Well done to whoever cleans this place.

It’s always really nice with a good atmosphere. We go a few times a month and it’s always been great. I take my 1 year old daughter and the staff always interact with her and she loves it. We will happily keep going Food and drinks are a good price. The 3 of us eat for around-£30-£50 (depending on what you pick) and that price includes drinks so well worth it

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our most recent visit, no carvery on a Sunday, no atmosphere, the staff weren't on form to attend to us and the food average.

Visited whilst on holiday in the area. Friendly staff. Dog friendly pub, just not on the carpeted areas. Food was good. Will go again when in the area again.

A large family party of us went here on Christmas day and to say they spoilt Christmas for us was an understatement. When they eventually started serving us starters only a few of us received them. The rest was left waiting and wondering. They brought out two child starters and insisted we had ordered them, even though we only had one child in our company. I had photographs of all of our orders that I had personally handed in. They finally took the 2nd one back. Approximately 20 minutes later I went and asked when we would be getting the rest of our starters and said that this was not good enough. The young waitress came out, asked what we were missing and went back into the kitchen. She then reappeared, in tears (obviously being told off in there when it was not her fault) and asked again what was owing as she had forgot. She was distressed, poor lass. We calmed her down and told her not to worry and gave her the order again. When it was time for the main meal, we went to the carvery, the meat was new, that was good, but for most of our guests there was a lot of the accompaniments missing. Either no roast potatoes, hardly any veg, there was gravy when I was there but not for others. The dishes of cranberry sauce and mint sauce were empty even when I was there. These things had not been attended to or filled up for each table to enjoy their meal as they should. The desserts took that long to be served to us that 4 of our party had to leave for various reasons as we had been there about 3 hours already. This time they brought out 3 child desserts insisting we had ordered them! We sent those back twice. Two of our party ordered the lamb shanks for their main and they were stone cold in the middle. Again, they had to get up from the table to go and complain and change it for something else or wait longer for lamb to be ready. Not what you expect on Christmas day. The whole atmosphere was ruined and it wasn't just us, there were other people complaining and wanting refunds. A guy on the table in front of us told us that he got turkey on his plate, one ball of stuffing then he moved along and there was one roast potato left, no veg or anything. So he handed his plate back to them and told them to forget it and demanded a full refund. That guy had no Christmas dinner at all. That is the short version of how it went but it's the first and definitely the last time any of us will be going there ever again.

Great place when it works but otherwise, my elderly grandma put in a £20 deposit and pre-paid £120 for her Christmas Day meal to a staff member, and then was rejected at the doorstep for ‘never having paid’, and, ‘not being on the system’. She paid in full and yet was rejected AND wasn’t offered her money back. This is awful service. She paid in October and was fully prepared to come for a meal with her disabled son today, but was rejected. awful.

Absolute rubbish! Don't go for Xmas dinner. The atmosphere was awful with people with shouting, swearing, throwing things etc. Food was stone cold and half of the food didn't show up despite reminding the servers that half our party was missing their meals.

Luke the waiter is very helpful im in a wheelchair and nothing is too much trouble all the other staff are also very pleasant and helpful if the team keep it as it is the three lights gets 100 per cent on my vote I’ve now been four times and each time the food has been supberb

Two pool tables lots of people on them and hardly any diners. Carvery was dismal and run out of a lot of veg. This wax about 11.45am.

Took a group of adults with special needs out for lunch today. A perfect place, nice and open for wheelchairs food was good quality very reasonably priced. Staff were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Service was below average. Beer had to be returned twice due to tasting quite frankly awful. Food was below average in every aspect, one plate of food actually contained several human hairs. Would definitely not recommend.

Very poor atmosphere & bad welcome. No atmosphere at all and the man taking orders (hoody & baseball cap!!!) does not have the right attitude to work in a pub. We were made to feel that we were a nuisance. The food was thrown together.

Since the three lights management chaged hands the food, atmosphere and bar staffs service has been night and day from how it used to be. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent food. It is also more fun since they added darts, pool and poker. 100% worth a visit

Can't fault this pub even if I tried. The staff are lovely and helpful. I always feel welcomed. They always go big for seasonal holidays with the decorations and it always looks great.

Michelle was lovely! Such a down to earth and friendly person, food was amazing even if i did eat too much. Highly recommend not just for the food but great service too!

Arranged to meet a family member at this pub whilst on a long weekend visit. Chose it because it was dog friendly. Arrived there and asked a staff member of it was ok to eat there and bring in our dog. Place wasn’t busy and only about 6 tables were in use. Was told by staff member quite abruptly we could do this but only on tables with hard floor… The only tables available were either sticky and dirty or cluttered with previous diners mess. We left it a while for the tables to be cleaned as we viewed menu. It was clear this wasn’t going to happen so moved to a table that appeared cleaner but still sticky and dirty. Previous employee that was abrupt, gave a few peculiar looks over as if we were taking too long to order, Guy had a bit of an attitude to be honest and made us feel uncomfortable. Was going to ask him why he was so rude but instead just went elsewhere informing our family member to go to the smokehouse where we knew the staff were pleasant. Won’t return here and was obvious why the car park so empty at half term on Friday lunch time. It’s in the Hospitality industry so it’s suggested some staff are trained to be hospitable…

Really friendly welcome, all set up for a Halloween party but the staff could not be accommodating enough. I have been before with the dog and the family and it was equally as welcoming

Pub was very quiet. Even wondered if it was open! However, staff excellent and food excellent. My wife had certain requirements re her food but, for the first time ever, anywhere, this was not a problem and everything she asked for regarding her food was listened to and complied with. 100% to everyone in the bar and kitchen. We will be back.

Had a carvery cold not a lot .looked like it had been out hours

Went for Sunday carvery and was not disappointed. Good selection and hot.

We went for a large family meal 12+ people reserved. When we arrived they had run out of carvery knowing they had a reservation so we made due but when ordering we where also told they had ran out or steaks for the mix grill. We made due yet again but the food was cold and bland only redeeming quality was the outside area for are party. I will also add when paying the card machine automatically asks for a tip before you have even tasted your food or had service min options being 15%.

Emailed directly and no reply hence review. Went for wife's birthday - spent over £100 and very poor service, waited over 40 mins before enquiring food was then it came out tepid. Had to ask for cutlery. No napkins. Lots of items on menu not available. Desserts - came out cold or melted. No cutlery again and had to wait then didn't bring enough. 1 hand pulled beer showing - not available. Food was average. Service was poor. Very quiet with hardly anyone in. Wont return. Real shame as started off well.

I find this place is always nice flowing, food doesn't take long, neither is it expensive, always tasty, never busy busy but enough to have atmosphere. Play area outside for the little ones, pool table for the older ones. I live rather far from here yet don't mind the drive out to get good service, food and a nice few hours with my family.

Went to Blackpool, however as the firework display was on it was far too busy with traffic jams. We cut our losses and drove to Fleetwood and came across Three Lights. It was after 8pm and I was worried they had stopped serving but they hadn't. Staff were friendly and polite. We ordered 2 fish and chips with mushy peas and when it came I was impressed with the size. Big fish and loads of chips. It was really really tasty. The only thing that would have made it better was a slice of bread and butter or a teacake. Other than that I was impressed. Definitely a place to visit again.

My partner had the sirloin steak and she remarked it was tasty and cooked to perfection. I had the cod and chips. Now you get a lot of places that serve up a huge amount of batter and very little fish, but this was meaty fish all the way throughout. The service was lovely and attentive. Highly recommended. Addition: We have visited a few times since writing my review. The food is still of good standard, but the service has gone backwards. Before, you could take a seat and somebody would be over to take your order. They would also bring you the cutlery and take away your starter crockery before they served you your main. Now it's order at the bar, pick up your own cutlery and after your starter your table is full of plates once your mains are served. It wasn't exactly busy, so no real excuse for odd service.

Absolutely lovely pub. The food - we had a Sunday lunch which was exquisite. The staff were friendly. The pub is very comfy and cosy. My partner and I highly recommend.

Food was not cooked properly no atmosphere

Lovely pub, great food and service is great!

8 of us came for my sisters birthday last year and left after finding that practically nothing on the menu was available. Thinking it a one-off, we returned this year and guess what, no steak, no mixed grills, no scampi etc. Love the pub, the staff are friendly but this is the last time I waste a taxi fare to find nothing on the menu. Whoever is in charge of ordering stock needs hauling over the coals - outrageous way to run a business.

Nice pub but the staff and food availability was very poor as a lot of the meal were unavailable and the service was very slow.
