Had a a wonderful lunch on Valentine’s Day, lovely service in a relaxed atmosphere.

The staff & food is always 10/10 - one of my favourite restaurants!

Went yesterday for lunch on valentine's day everything was perfect. Fabulous food, the chocolate fondant was amazing !! The staff were lovely and very observant and attentive. We will be returning soon .

Once again, a very good meal . Attentive service. Reasonable prices, but service charge added on top. Equally good food and service available locally, but we all like a change.

The food was excellent but the service was very slow. Waited 20 minutes for table that had been booked. Had to ask to order for both the main course and sweet. It was also quite dark inside. The gluten free options were very good.

We had a lovely date night dinner (quite rare for us thanks to our wonderful kids!). We were welcomed upon arrival, shown to a nice table and went on to enjoy a great meal with good service throughout. We are looking forward to returning with our kids in the near future :-)

My partner and I walked from Blackpool to visit this delightful restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The decor is beautiful, with an open fire in the bar area. We could tell that great care and attention goes into keeping the restaurant clean and well presented. I had the grilled haddock and and my partner had cheese and bacon omelette, which was well worth the 9 mile walk. Thank everyone at The Farmers Arms for making our visit so enjoyable, and we hope to see you again soon.

The pub looked beautifully lit up from The outside on arrival. Inside was warm and inviting with lovely lighting. Reception staff were fabulously welcoming and were expecting us. The eating areas were gently ‘buzzing’ - an overall great vibe. Menus were extensive and a varied wine list. The service and food were both exemplary. Overall a really enjoyable evening.

Food and service excellent, only downside was it was a bit cold.

We booked for Chinese New Year and thoroughly enjoyed the food served from the special menu. We both had the crispy duck pancakes, my husband had Szechuan King Prawns and I had the Char Siu Monkfish. Service was excellent

Great pub food and cozy yet contemporary country decor - enjoyable lunch, with friendly staff and best of all - very dog friendly - 5 stars all-round! Firecracker salmon was spicy but not too hot - salmon cooked nicely. Fish Finger Brioche sandwich was also good

Food quality excellent. Only let down by luke warm custard on pudding served on cold plates.

All the staff is great, very friendly, despite how busy it was we were served straight away. Food is amazing. We definitely will be back. Also they have dogs friendly area.

I recently celebrated my birthday at the Farmers and the service was exceptional, all 14 of us enjoyed the food and felt really looked after. Nipped in for a chicken burger and drink, served by a great lad called Ciaran, food and service was brilliant, would definitely come again.

This place is fabulous, my husband and I love visiting the Farmers for either a drink or food. All the team are friendly and helpful and the experience is always fantastic. Adam, Taylor, Nathan, Ben and the rest of the team.

We had a great family night, thoroughly looked after by Adam and his team. Four of us had the Chargrilled Venison special, and honestly, it was spectacular! The flavours and sauce that came with it was incredible. It was a great evening and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

After being seated I had to get up and find a server to order drinks. One hot starter came on a cold plate. Main course plates luke warm. Bread rolls be better warm. Food was tasty and server attentive. Perhaps put these small things down to tiredness after the festive season, but if I pay these prices I expect the best service and food. I hope this is helpful.

Beautiful country pub that serves great food. Specialises in fish dishes. Serving staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to go back

One of the best pubs around, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We were served by Adam the manager, he was informative, accommodating and a hit with our little one.

A great dining experience! The service, choice and quality of food on offer was superb, the manager managed to squeeze my wife and I in as we were late walk in's.. Taylor was highly professional, informative, attentive. Our waitress Natalie, was equally helpful. I would highly recommend the Farmers, we will definitely be back

A fabulous relaxed Christmas day spent in The Farmers. Great food, staff and service.

Christmas Day - lovely (& substantial) meal. Didn't feel rushed even though there was a second sitting to come. All the staff worthy of a mention.

We have just had our Christmas lunch at the Farmers Arms and it was delicious. The prawn and scallops were delicious, the traditional turkey course was perfectly cooked and we struggled to eat the Christmas pudding. We are already looking forward to next year. Thanks to Adam and his team

Booked for a birthday but got the numbers one too few. However staff sorted it even though they were very busy. Excellent menu choice, lovely food and great service.

Simply superb and has become our favourite restaurant on the Fylde coast.

A great welcome from the staff, excellent pint and a comprehensive but slightly expensive wine list. The food was pretty good but not exceptional. The overall ambience is that of a gastro pub with the prices nearing those of a restaurant. Yes I will return but only on a payday.

Never been before but will now be our 'go to' place to eat for delicious food . Friendly , welcoming staff . Nathan made our visit special, made sure we had everything we needed and wanted ❤️

Food was excellent on the whole. Had leg of lamb Sunday lunch. The only issue I found was with the strange taste of the roast potatoes. I asked about them and was told they were parboiled and then roasted in duck fat. This was the weird taste I got and I don't much like duck other than Peking duck. The Mincemeat Strudel and custard was exceptional.

Food was OK, but the price of £2.70 for a child's lemonade, is ridiculous, it was the smallest of glasses, complained but told that's what it is 🤔

The atmosphere, ambience, lighting and staff experience was everything we expected, greeted and seated in good time, comfortable seating and good furnishings. The starters arrived in good time, and were enjoyed by all. The mains, in general were fine, however there where corners cut, in particular instant mash potatoes and gravy granules on the roast dinners, which seemed a shame when there must have been an abundance of meat juices available. Deserts were fine. Never judge a book by it's cover. Average at best. Wont be back. We were guilty of not speaking out after the meal.

Wonderful service from minute we walked in, place was really busy but was still asked if we wanted a bar drink before being seated. Once seated there was no rushing with courses, staff always made sure we had drinks etc n plenty of time given between courses. Food was fantastic n quite honestly one of best rare steaks I’ve had in a long time. Cannot fault the great afternoon we had

Fantastic vege roast and trifle for pudding. Great service, friendly and nothing too much trouble.

We had a really nice meal, nice atmosphere and served by an attentive waiter. The log fire was also a good touch. Decided to give 4 instead of 5 as a little pricey.

In a half empty restaurant it seemed very strange to have to wait for 45 minutes for 2 whitebait and 1 soup starters to arrive. When we enquired we were told “it will be with you shortly “ but no explanation or apology. Similar disinterested “service “ throughout our stay. Will definitely not be returning.

We booked a surprise meal for my partner, the organisation was excellent and it was really easy to pre order. The food was so tasty and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

What a gorgeous pub! We booked for our anniversary meal earlier this week and were so impressed with our experience at the Farmers Arms. The food was delicious - one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time served beautifully and didn’t have to wait long at all. The service was amazing start to finish, the staff were all so lovely and friendly and even put together a lovely dessert for us to share for our special occasion! Looking forward to our next visit!

Our first visit and very impressed. Beautiful traditional pub with varying choice on menu, something for everyone Set menu excellent value for money. So impressed we've booked a table for the festive menu in December with our family and we live an hour away. Staff lovely and very attentive. Nothng was too much trouble. You need to book it gets very busy

We had a wonderful lunch at the Farmers arms yesterday celebrating our special occasion. There were 2 staff on who were both welcoming, friendly and attentive. They both made us feel very special and made our day very special and memorable. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional

We’ve been on a few occasions and never been disappointed this time we took my daughter and family and they loved it too🥰

Lovely place and staff very attentive but thought the food let them down on this occasion, won’t be returning. Starter very bland and plain and two of the fish mains were overcooked and were like mush. Dessert was again very plain and tasteless.

There is nothing bad to say about The Farmers Arms. The food is fabulous and Adam and his staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. One of our favourite places 😊

The Farmers arms was very busy on Sunday with a party of 37 upstairs and the bar down stairs very crowded. The food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. There was only one person behind the bar and he was very good however he was run off his feet and as our table wasn’t ready we had to wait 15 mins before we got served. At busy times more bar staff are required. We waited 30 mins before our table was ready and after finishing our meal we had to ask twice for the bill. We were shocked to be asked by a waiter if we could leave the table because someone else was waiting. Not an encouragement to return.

Too busy staff not as available as they should have been starters really good I thought wow then mains disapointing fish and chips loads of batter not as much fish chips re cooked gammon over cooked tasted burnt chips re cooked

This is a hidden gem. The food was fantastic, great choice on main menu & a super specials board with a very friendly & attentive team giving great service.

The seafood here is amazing, I had sea bass which was to die for, and my husband had the seafood curry, it was amazing. The starters of chicken livers and the salt beef hash cake were fab. The staff were attentive and friendly, as you can see I did take a mark off the service, if you are of a certain age, being called guys all the time gets it bit annoying, call me old fashioned, but the food and the service are great.

We are regulars because the food is always to a high standard - particularly any fish.

It’s Saturday night and it’s busy a full car park and bar a bit noisy but that’s ok . The only trouble is when it’s this busy the service is slow, the food was nice eventually! , maybe go in the week next time.

Food lovely as always but I asked the waitress for a small roast beef Sunday lunch. I commented when it arrived as I would hate to see a full sized one. Lady next to me agreed. Still couldn’t eat over half of it. So imagine my surprise when the bill came I was charged full price. The waiter said the didn’t do small portions but when advised that was what I’d asked for and she didn’t inform me they only do full size or children’s. I paid but feel very disgruntled at having to pay and wasting so much food. Will definitely think again before returning. Although pleasant the waiter was very much of an attitude of tough.

Enjoyed a late afternoon drink in the outside seating area with the sun shining and not too busy for a Saturday afternoon, excellent cold pint of Guinness to wind down after having a long walk on the promenade near Cleveland 👍

We had the best time. Adam and the team accommodated 18 people for Sunday dinner to celebrate my partners birthday. The team were amazing, the food was excellent. A special mention to Adam, Nathan, Kyle and Kieran for making sure it was special. The preorder process was seamless. I would highly recommend.

This was a joint Birthday meal for an elderly lady and a nineteen year old girl. The food was very good and there was not much left on every plate there were 8 of us.

The food was good, the service fine and for a Saturday afternoon the atmosphere was ok. One thing that was a little strange was the smoked haddock I ordered was not what I actually received. On the receipt it was described as Grilled haddock and was £2 cheaper than the smoked. The grilled haddock was not on the menu. Usually a substitute is recommended by a member of staff, but in this case I only became aware of it when I got home and checked the menu on line. Make of it what you will. Also be aware of the 10% service charge.

Went in for a drink and a meal with my friend and were extremely pleased. There was a warm, friendly welcome from the barman who offered us drinks before our meal. The meal was in a very nice dining area with a lovely ambience about it. The food was very very good and we both enjoyed our meals The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Everything about the experience was pleasant and if we are in the area again would most definitely revisit. First class experience.

The room was very pretty, the atmosphere was warm and village cosy. The staff served our 22 member party efficiently and politely. Definitely happy to go back again.

We booked a table for 9, a 1 year old and a dog and we were put into the private room for celebrating our Mums 50th. Some of us had travelled from Scotland and some from London to meet in the middle and had a house booked. The owner of house recommended Farmers Arms and so so impressed. Food was amazing, service was amazing and the whole general experience. We even spoke about booking again to try more on menu if we came back again! Thank you x

Staff are very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I dropped in with our disabled daughter and our dog and it had a terrific meal. Each of us were made to feel welcome by friendly and helpful staff. As the parents with a severely disabled daughter, sometimes eating out can be tricky. We've hit on a system whereby we share the feeding of our daughter with one starting (when she is hungry it requires 100% focus) and the other taking over when things have settled. To ensure we enjoy our meals too, we often ask for one meal to be delayed by 5-10 mins - this time it was my wife's. The waiting staff and chef quickly caught on to the logic behind the request and could not have been more helpful. As we were about to change feeding duties, the third meal appeared ready for my wife to eat. Each of us ate the most delicious food that was freshly prepared (and hot). This level of service is rare and made our day- thanks. Apparently, we bumped into a new menu and the (fully encased) pies were quite simply, outstanding. My daughter had the Fish Pie and there was a completely clean plate. I would happily recommend The Farmers Arms

Very long wait for food Young gentleman who was in charge of taking food orders just didn’t seem to be enjoying his job, was quite curt when speaking.Did apologise for the wait but didn’t sound like he meant it.

Sorry to say my Birthday meal was very disappointing. Whilst not wanting huge portions, the Fish Pie was a joke!No vegetables and no warning that it was served bare unlike every other dish. The service was very unfriendly and arriving with grandchildren not only attracted unwarranted concerns from certain staff but also from equally unpleasant customers! This at 6:30 pm. Not likely to return. What a shame!
