The best restaurants in St. Helens North West

First time that I've used this delightful cafe. An excellent breakfast, with toast and a specially coffee. All for only £8.95. I will definitely be returning.

Ok but chips were under cooked and too much kale?

Currently not open for business ordered food waited and then called. Then decided to travel up there. It’s not even a functioning business anymore but is open for business online and google haven’t updated its page. I will be seeking a refund tomorrow from my bank with evidence. Do not order from here this business is not open anymore.

This is my local chippy. When it first opened the lite bite was excellent value for money. Enough chips and a decent size fish. On the last 2 occasions I had the lite bite the fish wasn't much bigger than a fish finger. Long wait in the chippy as they were busy getting online orders out. You would do well to remember your local customers!

To the staff who work at this place. Do me favour would you? When you get a just eat order, please don't just bag it up and leave it to go cold til the driver turns up 20 minutes later. Yeah? You've got hot racks for collection and drive thru customers. Bag up the order when the driver shows up. You guys know how much of pain it is to get refunds from Just Eat. It's shocking. 3.45 money back from a 20 quid order. Terrible. I know Just Eat's questionable refund processes aren't your fault. But my food being freezing cold, frankly is your fault. Sort it out.

The food is sooo good and the minecraft collection is soooooo cuteeee

I was here very recently with my friend what can I say about this place well wen u get there u need register u car details any way we had king size carvery it was excellent 5 meats on pork gammon beef lamb turkey that’s a bonus potatoes excellent carots red cabbage parsnips all veg was lovely wel cooked overall great carvery reasonable price I would definitely cime back here in future

Visited over the weekend with friends for our Christmas catch up. Had the festive meal which was delicious! Friendly chatty staff which is always a bonus! Thanks again and will be back soon. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄 😊

Ordered 2 Desserts & 2 milkshakes to be delivered. Took over an hour to be delivered, but only two drinks. Tried to contact to fix the mistake, they refused to answer the phone. Shocking service.

Not Hot Stuff any more that was 5 star got a chicken kebab today with all the trimmings and seeing pre cooked chicken warmed up thrown onto a bread with only mayo was a joke

Both my friend and I had eggs on toast . The cups were stained . The cutlery was dirty so we put it in some hot water in a paper cup . Both of us had bad stomachs and griping pains the next day . We believe it could have only been from there as only see each other once a week . Whenever we go cups are nearly always stained and cutlery could be cleaner . Won’t be going again for a while .

Ordered yesterday from here. Worst chinese meal ever. Chicken fried rice contained ready cooked rice, probably bought from tesco, hardly any chicken in it, about 4 peas in the whole tub, and no taste or colour to it. Salt and pepper ribs looked more like just a few tiny scraps resting on loads of onions. And frozen chips ? What proper Chinese serves frozen chips. Woks cracking, go to jade Garden and see what proper Chinese food should look like. It was family's idea to order from here, I won't be making that mistake again.

Not normally a lover of take away pizza, as I can't cook it how I like. But I wouldn't go any other pizza place in st Helens. Shows how good they are when they are pizza. Garlic sauce is really nice

Over our last 4 visits there is always something that is not available. Last time they had no bread rolls to go with the soup. This time they have no syrup for the strawberry milkshakes . We have never had a problem finding seating space so i can only assume it is bad management which is a shame as it is lovely and clean cafe..

Just eat said 30 min wait. I placed the order and it said 60-90 mins. After 90 mins the order hadn’t even been prepared. Still at the accepted stage 24 missed calls to the shop and no answer. Crock of sh*te, don’t use this shop
