The best restaurants in St. Helens North West

90 minutes after I was told my food was on it's way and two and a half hours after ordering, it eventually turned up. Sent it back as it would have been inedible sitting in a bag for an hour and a half. The woman from the chip shop rang me shouting and screaming abuse at me down the phone for not accepting it as it was. I felt sorry for the delivery driver who probably has to pick up the pieces on each delivery. Very rude in chipshop, kept calling me 'lady' and could not accept the fact that I had contacted the app about poor service. Would never ever go here again based on her attitude and the manner in which she screamed at me down the phone.

Fantastic service and food. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face, I’ve never had a bad meal from here and I’ve been using this place for at least 12 months. I wouldn’t use anywhere else now.

It’s the usual Costa experience, but having to register your car reg is, for me, a step too far. I just want to pop in for a coffee, not worry about parking - I’ve had a few friends who have been fought out by this, and it’s just a money making scam. I’d suggest you go to any of the other two Costas close by, that don’t make you register your car reg - why take the risk.

Top notch food from here I eat here once a week and it never lets me down always served the best of the best. prices aren’t that dear I would recommend u eat here. The staff and service inside are amazing and always bring a smile to ur face I would give this food place a big 5 stars

lovely delivery man pleasant, kind and respectful

Ordered the food at 5::15 for the food to arrive at 7:15 cold and dry the popadoms was soggy and horrible the service of staff of terrible I would rather drag my tongue across a dirty field then eat from here again dry meet hard chips soggy popadoms might aswell of been a frozen microwave meal worse Indian food I’ve ever tasted wouldn’t recommend to my worse enemy

It was terrible got my order wrong and the just eat delivery driver was very rude when I told him the orders was wrong he was very aggressive and shouted at me and he even got out of his car and called me out for a fight I am so angry and would never order from them ever again

Yummy pies and they also do tasty Sunday roast dinners.. I had the beef would definitely have it again.

Attended the Xmas/Abba tribute night, incl 3 course meal, the Abba act and disco to end. We were a party of 12, food was hit & miss...some were hot & lovely, some were warm, hard roasties but overall edible. Capacity was full to the brim with guests laughing, smiling and great atmosphere, Once the act came on with no break inbetween, the dancefloor was never empty. The only moan was we were seated near the doors which was quite cold until they closed the doors just before the food was served. Overall, great venue, helpful staff, even though they were shortstaffed behind the bar, the staff did their best on such a busy night.

Been here before and always enjoyed it but not today! The meal portions were tiny and cost £9.99 and when we complained the chefs attitude was dreadful 'eat it or a refund' Then when we complained further he wouldn't come out of the kitchen and left the poor barmaid to deal with us needless to say won't be going back it was a rip-off
