The best restaurants in St. Helens North West

Attended the Xmas/Abba tribute night, incl 3 course meal, the Abba act and disco to end. We were a party of 12, food was hit & miss...some were hot & lovely, some were warm, hard roasties but overall edible. Capacity was full to the brim with guests laughing, smiling and great atmosphere, Once the act came on with no break inbetween, the dancefloor was never empty. The only moan was we were seated near the doors which was quite cold until they closed the doors just before the food was served. Overall, great venue, helpful staff, even though they were shortstaffed behind the bar, the staff did their best on such a busy night.

Been in Rainhill now for about 18mths and tried every pizza place around an i have to say this realy is no1. Ok you have to wait a while if there busy but its well worth the wait. Everything is made fresh from scratch with quality ingredients at a very cheap price. Lately i have had my food delivered they have a new guy on he is very polite when he delivers and very quick to deliver . So for me its 10/10 for this place thank you all for great food, service and delivery .

I have had a iced coffee from here today and it took 20 mintues I was disgusted by the service

Reasonably priced tasty food, seating area whilst waiting for your food, pleasant staff, parking outside, good variety of meals on menu.

Ordered food at 4.30pm and still waiting at 6.30pm phoned them at 5.30 to be told the driver is on the way. Called back at 5.45 as it should not take 15 mins to drive 2 miles to be told I had not ordered, I gave them my order number and was told it’s my fault they didn’t have my order because I ordered on there web site. The food finally turned up and missing items called up again only to be told it’s not there problem and no offer of refund or any sort of compensation will not be ordering from here again.

Been using just wings for a good couple of years, but I must say over the 8 months it just hasn't been the same. I get it gets busy and food is delayed but I was always updated on that as soon as I placed the order. There is zero communication now which is very frustrating. Please bring this back. Its letting you down so much. Food isn't just the same either. What is going on at all.

As a regular Starbucks lover..my one and only coffee in the morning is a blonde caramel latte..as a Chef it's definitely my booster for the day..the whole team are absolutely awesome, friendly, polite, their customer service is spot on..Honestly get your hands on a blonde caramel latte..it's the way forward.. I don’t know if anyone sees this but I ordered it to the wrong address so I don’t know if I get my money back so I can order it again or it’s still coming

WELLINGTON PUB PRESCOT Disappointed in meal prices for what were pub classics. Atmosphere of the pub has dropped since we last visited, probably due to prices, had it not taken time to get through peak time traffic, we would've have left and gone elsewhere. Staff inattentive, ordered coffee, forgotten about then when it arrived it looked like half a cup of mud. Please can the pub go back to how it was before, we won't be visiting again. Positive portion size for £14.99 each for fish and chips was okay, but can get the same 2 meals for £12 during the week in other pubs.

we has just dropped our car off for a service and we decided to walk into St Helens town center while we where waiting for the garage we visited here for a coffee break as always the staff are friendly you can always get good food and drink
