Me and my friend both felt sick after coffee and biscuits

Fab, really clean, tidy, drinks made as requested, lovely ambience

Nearly £8 for a decaf americano and cappuccino. I think that’s outrageously expensive and found both drinks pretty undrinkable too!

Don't know as I haven't been !!!! Atmosphere was dead, as I was in the Cemetery nearby.

The premises is nice, always clean and always tidy but the service is usually quite slow, not particularly friendly and there’s been a few errors in orders. I ordered a hot chocolate and ended up with a coffee in the drive thru once Also, was asked to leave one evening and hour earlier as they decided to close early, disrupted a meeting I was having.

This Starbucks is good but could be better. The staff are friendly enough but some of them appear not to want to work there and I don't think that it helps the atmosphere. They do work hard though and if anyone actually goes out of their way to help, which is rare, I do tip them. Again, like most Starbucks the views are a road or a carpark of a Tesco. BB it that's no one's fault, just an observation. I do go to this one frequently and use the drive through as well as dining in because it's local to me. Again, toilets and floors need more attention, standard but input this down to staff not having time because of the drive through etc. Will continue to go there.

I’ve called in here twice over the past two weeks and both times been told the dishwasher is broken so would have to serve in takeaway cups - no thanks. When I pay those prices and intend to stay there, I expect a proper cup. Beware the car park also - they have a time limit and you’ll get stung if you don’t keep your eye on the time, but on the basis that they want to serve you your coffee in a takeaway cup, at least you’ll be able to take your coffee with you if you’re about to overstay your welcome!!!

Avoid at all costs. There is a 60 minute parking limit. There are signs but as you dont expect to pay to park when getting a coffee I never looked at them. Now have a £60 fine. As I am clearly not the first person to fall for this, you would expect the staff in Starbucks to at least let you know.

Food is what it is, coffee tasty and service was good.

Always friendly staff here, and the place is clean as a whistle.

I met a friend at Starbucks mid afternoon, just for a coffee and a chat. I stayed for over an hour. l didn't see any parking payment machines, if I had l would have had a choice to pay or go elsewhere. I definitely didn't see a parking sign stating I will be charged for staying over an hour. I received a parking fine for parking on private land, totally outrageous. Please boycott going to Starbucks, I will never go there again. It was the most expensive coffee ever to my knowledge and the service wasn't even that great either.

Coffee is good and the staff are pleasant enough but it's the 2nd time I've been now and the 2nd time I've had to clean my own table.

Starbucks sets this place out as somewhere to eat and chat or catch up with some work and then fines you for staying over 1hr!! (I know that the parking is charged by ParkingEye but it's all under the control of Starbucks). They will say that there are signs telling you that there's a 1hr limit, but who looks at these or expects that when you're having a meal? Just look at the number of reviewers they have caught out. Like them, I will do my best to avoid any Starbucks in future!

Nice atmosphere at the lowery costa

I have just been with a friend this morning for a coffee and fruit toast we was sitting in was given take out cups and the toast in a bag we said we are not take away then was told the dish washer was broken we was not happy at all we should have been told this before ordering has we don't like take out cups we would have gone somewhere else

nicer looking now that it's been done up. staff always nice whenever i go in. never seem to have everything in though. there is always something that they don't have

Parking fine!!! Met friend for a catch up. It has cost me £60 if paid within 14 days. I WILL NOT be meeting here again.

Dropped in for a coffee to meet some friends. Seems allegedly the landlord has a sign giving them the right to charge a £100 parking charge as I stayed over an hour. Really disappointing that Starbucks don’t warn their customers especially when selling them a second drink. Will not be using this Starbucks again.

Nasty policy when it comes to parking. The parking lot ought to have an automatic gate as it is so easy to park there without realising severe restrictions are in place. As for the coffee and the food, well I'll never enter Starbucks doors having gotten £100 fine for stopping off for a bite on my way to a funeral.

It has improved but not by much

Went to starbucks an hour before closing time after i had a long day in work, just for them to have closed early! chain stores should not be allowed to close early as there were 2 cars behind me also wanting a starbucks but it was closed. I’m there 2-3 times per week and i am appalled at them closing ealry

Ordered a soya flat white with a reusable cup didn’t ge a reusable cup discount i also asked if it could be topped up with hot water. NO, YOU WILL GET IT AS IT IS .. Tremendous customer service. Think this young lady name begins with N needs some training.

Went to get myself a coffee but was unable to due to them not having any oat milk in stock. I don't understand how these places can run out of this stuff when it is so popular, but oh well. My daughter was happy with her frappe, and my tuna melt panini was nice.

It was a very uncomfortable with the drinks being extremely bitter because too much coffee was added. Also it was quite watery as they added too much ice. Don’t come here. Please.

Got in for a Java chip takeaway. It was 90% ice ,5% coffee and 5% milk. It was so terrible that I couldn’t drink any after taking a couple of sips.

They never answer the phone! Why list a number if the staff don't answer!?

Over £3 for a very small coffee. At least it tasted alright. Service not good. Four young people behind counter, all talking to each other. Customers waiting. No social etiquette at all, no manners. Poor.

Waited to be served for 5 minutes without any sign of any staff. Waited a further 5 minutes for drink to be made. Staff rude, disinterested and incredibly slow.

Always great vegan options for on the go. Staff always friendly

Everytime I go after 9pm they stop serving iced frappes because they are cleaning

The girl that served me here on 7/5/23 was incredibly rude, I asked if she could scan my app for the reward points to be told I was showing her the wrong thing ! I showed her the barcode bit on the scan and pay section, she rudely argued that I should show her the scan only part ! When i told her I always only use the one I showed she dismissed me in a very arrogant manner and told me imhad never done that !! Shenever asked if I wanted to use my rewards or pay for the drinks and simply used my rewards when i didnt want to. She should never be allowed to talk to customers in that way, awful experience.

Had coffee and cake that was OK. However when a part of the order changed our server was rude and a bit tutty

Went to get some lunch with a colleague. Ordered a panini to eat in. Very pleasant male staff member but no plate given. Not overly concerned as it was only a quick stop. Returned to counter on the way out to get a cake to take back to work. The girl behind the counter barked, what I now understand to be, 'Can I take a name for your order'. I thought she was in the middle of speaking to someone on her headphone at first as she didn't seem to be talking to me. She repeated herself and I said that I was sorry as I thought she was talking to someone else. She then just repeated the phrase a third time and I stated that I only wanted a cake. She was then unbelievably rude with the way she dealt with me. The cake was slammed into the bag and shoved across the counter. Unpleasant experience.

Have used this store in the past, but I realised why I don't use it that often. The coffee isn't that good.

Nice little Starbucks if your riding along east lancs on you bike there is outdoor seating. Enjoy a coffee break here

Went and parked on Starbucks thinking I could go in to get a coffee with a friend. Most expensive coffee of my life, got slapped with a £100 fine! It appears that Starbucks actually don't want customers, which is odd considering the number of tables and chairs in there. Avoid!!

Very clean place staff lovely definitely go again

Just came round drive thru Large caramel late with cream which they forgot and double expresso shot. The annoying thing is i have been short changed. Order came to £8.25 given £10 should have £1.75 change got given £1.05. Really need 0.70p that bad after spending alot money on reburshing the place. Utter joke. My 3 daughters under 5 yrs can do better maths and would given me the correct change.

Really disappointed to see that after a refurbishment that the doors were closed at 19:00 open for drive through only! Such a shame , looks like it would have been lovely to appreciate inside. Even worse when the signs next to the door say they close at 11 !

Attended a business meeting here a few weeks or so ago. The other party picked up the tab. We were both fined for exceeding the 1 hour limit on the car park. A 1 hour limit on a car park where people meet to discuss business? Appealed and got nowhere. Disgusting and I will not use this, or any other Starbucks venues again for any business purposes.

2 drinks and 2 bacon bun 20 quid... Cant do this everyday

I met for a business meeting on 09.01. We bought drinks totalling £11.55 each and stayed 1 hour 43 mins. Staff were helpful but unfortunately the chain has decided to partner with parkingeye, who have promptly issued a £100 fine for staying over an hour. I have appealed but to have a chain that supports fining customers who use the premise is pretty shambolic. Needless to say I won’t be back and will use other coffee shops locally. I’m sure I won’t be missed and they won’t be arsed.

In need of new cups ,the cups we had were chipped ,marked etc considering the price of drinks a bit of tlc is needed (sat in )

Depending on what staff are on depends wether or not you can get a certain coffee and wether or not it taste nice.

Barista had his hands full, making drinks for inside customers as well as drive through, so we waited quite a while for our drinks. Long enough for our food to be luke warm by the time they were ready. I'm sure it will improve

I ordered a gingerbread late for nearly 6pound and it tasted like tap water and smelled sewege. When I drove past the next Starbucks in ormskirk I pulled in to return it and they refused and said it wasn't from there shop. Starbucks has horrible customer service for the price they charge needless to say you have lost loyal customer over rude staff.

Good clean Starbucks but unsure if the parking restrictions apply for Starbucks customers!

More of a drive thru than a sit in. Very cold and empty inside, was quite busy so there was a lot of dirty tables. I will re visit but definitely go drive thru rather than inside. Drinks and food where ok. More a novelty than a quality experience plus prices seem to keep going up.

Not the friendliest of places!! Had to move 3 times as the place was so cold! Door was being fixed and window open for Drive-thru so no matter where we sat we were frozen! I mentioned it to one of 2 girls on shift who didn’t respond at all. Literally not one word!!! The only friendly staff member was a lad who said he’d put the heating on for us when I said they should be providing blankets with each drink ordered! We would have been warmer if we’d taken a seat outside instead!!!! I will never visit this place again, over priced and bloody freezing!!!!!

I ordered the cakes which was fresh and nice, then had to wait 10 mins for my first drink, another 5 mins for the second drink and eventually 5 mins later the third drink come. The other halfs tea was just milk see the picture. Will not go to this place again, £21 bill.

The staff have not been trained properly it's a shame, they are running everywhere, they need to be given one job, I was in there 25 minutes waiting to be served, and then another 20 minutes for my coffee, there was no one in charge and the staff were trying to do five jobs, one person to make coffee, it's rediculass, after me waiting all that time I was told they had no clean cups so I would afto have take away ones, I'll never go in there again, and the same was said for all the customers that was waiting. Can't see it lasting long if you don't sort it you'll have no customers to serve.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went through the drive through were there was only 3 cars in front of me yet waited 13 minutes to get my coffees, as I approached the window no apologies regarding the waiting time and I politely asked if they were short staffed only to be rudely told….no just busy. Very poor service really. Considering the purchase was £13.90!! Not the first time either that this has happened. Should be a quicker service and staff trained in manners. Definitely won’t be returning.

Coffee is good. Service is better. But you can only park for an hour. So if you're looking for a place for a long overdue catch up and coffee with friends pick somewhere else. Perfect place for a 45 min interview though.

The new one on the retail park everything was awful shall not be returning we shall be staying at windle Starbucks its like chalk and cheese

great place for a meet n greet .....only had 1 problem ...when they are putting chairs away evening time they push them under the tables that makes the most awful loud sound ...very off putting when trying to have a relaxed conversation ...should dedinately make the effort to lift them off the floor and pushing under the table

Went in for a coffee and a chat with a friend and received a £100 parking fine a week later!!! Next time I'm choosing absolutely to support a local business rather than Starbucks. The coffee is nothing to note, milky ash-tray water at best.

Always fast service, mainly use the drive thru service. Good location for home and work.

When you ask for muffins and the staff cannot be asked.

Coffee went horrible in less than 10 minutes the food was ok but the drinks it was very cold and full of cream terrible muffin. #do you know the muffin man

Just visited this store, wish I hadn't wasted my money. Terrible customer service, coffee and food average at best considering the price. We ordered 2 panini's to eat in and they were given to us in bags, I went back to the counter to ask...

Called in on foot and I had to wait 20mins for my order, which had to be remade because they had used the wrong milk, the long wait was because the customers in vehicles were given priority to jump the queue. This needs addressing however the coffee was excellent so I'm putting it down to, a hectic time for the staff.

We popped in yesterday for a coffee and a bite to eat and can say it is one of the best Starbucks around, the staff are friendly and polite, the place itself is clean and we didn't see any flies around the coffee machine or the work area like we did in the one in Warrington. If you like coffee then it's worth a visit.

Just received a parking fine for parking in the Starbucks car park for more than an hour. What stupidity! How is anyone to have a coffee with someone in less than an hour. THIS IS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY AND A MONEY MAKING SCHEME FOR THEM

I made the mistake of visiting on two consecutive days and now have a £100 parking fine which accuses me of being parked there for over 24 hours. Will never visit again.

Can’t really complaint about this Starbucks. Really nice people and know their coffee. Still do the fruit toast! 😊😊. The place was clean and didn’t wait too long. They don’t accept AMEX. But just load your Starbucks App with your AMEX and you then also get your points as well. Thanks for the great experience.

Shocking been a few times now 2 sit in with my family and got take away cups I ask a lot of people this and they say they get take away cups as well this needs to be sorted as you pay to sit in with a take away cup I ask for a normal cup and all I get is we have 4 cups that is it I look around and every1 in there as take away cups this is so wrong get it sorted

Another £100 parking fine (sorry, £200, considering my friend's!), another 1* review! By far the most expensive coffee of my life, far more expensive than Kopi Luwak! Totally speechless! Clearly these people don't even care: do they really need customers? It would be nice to receive explanations from the management, assuming that there is one at this point, as not a single review has received an answer.

Worst coffee shop in St Helens! Miserable, unfriendly, unhelpful staff and godawful coffee!! Won’t be back. AVOID AVOID!!!

Zero customer service. The worst I've ever experienced in a Starbucks. Pain au chocolate left on ghe counter, just had to guess it was ours. Coffees just left on counter no straws. When asked for them they were just chucked on ghe counter.

My first visit to Starbucks and it was lovely. The staff were attentive and professional. I enjoyed my coffee (cappuccino) very much. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Well done to Starbucks, I will be back.

worst staff. unprofessional and childish behaviour on the drive through. They look at you like zombies and take order without a clue about the menu. microphon is not working and they will take money without making sure if they got the stuff Available. They will stand right infront of you and gives you a dead stare without any reason.Rude as hell.MANNERS COST NOTHING.
