Coffee shops should not have background music when its clearly not in the background I go for coffee to chat with friend's not have the conversation drowned out background music

I rarely leave bad reviews but we've had loads of problems with this Starbucks unfortunately, we don't have particularly complex orders (maybe a syrup added or an alternative milk with everything else in the drink the default) and almost every single time the drink has an issue or is missing something (including syrup which you pay extra for). I'm leaving the review as most recently I requested an alternative milk in a regular drink as I have an autoimmune sensitivity to dairy and they gave me regular dairy milk and I got quite sick from it. I thought maybe it was something else I'd had during the day but my dairy-drinking partner checked and confirmed it tasted like dairy milk. I can deal with the odd mistake here or there but that's quite a bad mistake to make from quite a simple request. I fully appreciate that cross-contamination can't be avoided for allergies which is fair but I would at least hope that staff recognise people get alternative milks for different reasons - and medical reasons can be non-allergy, we don't just do it to be awkward.

Food and drink well over price I met my mate and his kid we spent around 70£ in the store I put my registration in counter like they advised me stayed for over an hour and guess what they rewarded me with a 100£ fine ,

Usual Starbucks and drinks just as expected. However the drive thru service was so slow and when I got to the window they tried charging me for the next cars order and mine had magically disappeared so o had to wait longer whilst it was made.

I went today at around 6pm and was served by jess, she was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The coffee was amazing and she gave me extra sugars too.

Convenient on the A580W seemed to be a meeting place for discussions about work.

Below average coffee, too bothered with the gimmick drinks. Staff great.

Starbucks was ok - but receiving a £60 fine for exceeding an hours parking was awful. Not the way to treat customers.

As a regular Starbucks lover..my one and only coffee in the morning is a blonde caramel latte..as a Chef it's definitely my booster for the day..the whole team are absolutely awesome, friendly, polite, their customer service is spot on..Honestly get your hands on a blonde caramel latte..it's the way forward.. Love a cheeky Starbucks. They have such versatile coffees and drinks. Can't comment on atmosphere though as we always visit as a drive through.

Just called in to grab a coffee to go. Enjoyed a flat white cheers. Car park was busy but store was quiet, served quickly, staff were great. Everything looked pretty clean. Probably the smallest gents bathroom I've ever seen.

Nice staff, and for a chain coffee venue it doesn't feel it. This branch has a personal touch about it.

£100 fine for using their carkpark for 1hr 50 mins, whilst I was in their store. Fining their own customers for bringing them business isnt the most intelligent business practice. Will simply avoid going forward.

The wooden fence is a good place to lock and park your pushbike

Coffee was excellent. £100 parking fine, not so much. No warnings. If you stay over an hour you get done. Apparently they are photographing you entering and exiting in your car.

Staff are great never eaten there only go for the coffee ☕️

Don't know as I haven't been !!!! Atmosphere was dead, as I was in the Cemetery nearby. Still don't know as still never been in, so please stop asking for reviews on STARBUCKS when I visit my wifes gravels it is atleast 200 metres away from STARBUCKS and is an invasion of my privacy!!!!!!!

The guy who delivered the order was great and did exactly as I asked with regard to dropping the food off.

Our order took over an hour to arrive and it was only 2 drinks, when it arrived the driver dropped our drinks on the floor and just picked them up with no apology or any kind of way to make it up to us, the cups where cracked and our drinks where only 3/4 full so a lot of them was missing and spilt all over the floor, I find this unacceptable in both parts with taking over an hour to arrive and horrible delivery, I demand a full refund as I order from here quite a lot and this is never an issue!

Nice place to stop and the coffee is lovely but this place is super pricey. To be honest this place is extortionately priced. Over £4 for a coffee and the sandwiches, toasties are so expensive its no wonder they have full fridges at the end of every day

I asked for the pouring cream separate from the drink because it becomes too creamy. I have just spent £6 on a drink that I now can't drink. It was a simple instruction and its ruined my drink.

Nearly £8 for a decaf americano and cappuccino. I think that’s outrageously expensive and found both drinks pretty undrinkable too!

The premises is nice, always clean and always tidy but the service is usually quite slow, not particularly friendly and there’s been a few errors in orders. I ordered a hot chocolate and ended up with a coffee in the drive thru once Also, was asked to leave one evening and hour earlier as they decided to close early, disrupted a meeting I was having.

Missing one of the drinks. Apart from that it’s ok. I’ll just get a refund for the drink.

This Starbucks is good but could be better. The staff are friendly enough but some of them appear not to want to work there and I don't think that it helps the atmosphere. They do work hard though and if anyone actually goes out of their way to help, which is rare, I do tip them. Again, like most Starbucks the views are a road or a carpark of a Tesco. BB it that's no one's fault, just an observation. I do go to this one frequently and use the drive through as well as dining in because it's local to me. Again, toilets and floors need more attention, standard but input this down to staff not having time because of the drive through etc. Will continue to go there.

I’ve called in here twice over the past two weeks and both times been told the dishwasher is broken so would have to serve in takeaway cups - no thanks. When I pay those prices and intend to stay there, I expect a proper cup. Beware the car park also - they have a time limit and you’ll get stung if you don’t keep your eye on the time, but on the basis that they want to serve you your coffee in a takeaway cup, at least you’ll be able to take your coffee with you if you’re about to overstay your welcome!!!

Avoid at all costs. There is a 60 minute parking limit. There are signs but as you dont expect to pay to park when getting a coffee I never looked at them. Now have a £60 fine. As I am clearly not the first person to fall for this, you would expect the staff in Starbucks to at least let you know.

Food is what it is, coffee tasty and service was good.

I met a friend at Starbucks mid afternoon, just for a coffee and a chat. I stayed for over an hour. l didn't see any parking payment machines, if I had l would have had a choice to pay or go elsewhere. I definitely didn't see a parking sign stating I will be charged for staying over an hour. I received a parking fine for parking on private land, totally outrageous. Please boycott going to Starbucks, I will never go there again. It was the most expensive coffee ever to my knowledge and the service wasn't even that great either.

Coffee is good and the staff are pleasant enough but it's the 2nd time I've been now and the 2nd time I've had to clean my own table.

They will say that there are signs telling you that there's a 1hr limit, but who looks at these or expects that when you're having a meal? Just look at the number of reviewers they have caught out. Like them, I will do my best to avoid any Starbucks in future!

Nice atmosphere at the lowery costa

I have just been with a friend this morning for a coffee and fruit toast we was sitting in was given take out cups and the toast in a bag we said we are not take away then was told the dish washer was broken we was not happy at all we should have been told this before ordering has we don't like take out cups we would have gone somewhere else

Nasty policy when it comes to parking. The parking lot ought to have an automatic gate as it is so easy to park there without realising severe restrictions are in place. As for the coffee and the food, well I'll never enter Starbucks doors having gotten £100 fine for stopping off for a bite on my way to a funeral.

Dropped in for a coffee to meet some friends. Seems allegedly the landlord has a sign giving them the right to charge a £100 parking charge as I stayed over an hour. Really disappointing that Starbucks don’t warn their customers especially when selling them a second drink. Will not be using this Starbucks again.

Went to starbucks an hour before closing time after i had a long day in work, just for them to have closed early! chain stores should not be allowed to close early as there were 2 cars behind me also wanting a starbucks but it was closed. I’m there 2-3 times per week and i am appalled at them closing ealry

Ordered a soya flat white with a reusable cup didn’t ge a reusable cup discount i also asked if it could be topped up with hot water. NO, YOU WILL GET IT AS IT IS .. Tremendous customer service. Think this young lady name begins with N needs some training.

Went to get myself a coffee but was unable to due to them not having any oat milk in stock. I don't understand how these places can run out of this stuff when it is so popular, but oh well. My daughter was happy with her frappe, and my tuna melt panini was nice.

It was a very uncomfortable with the drinks being extremely bitter because too much coffee was added. Also it was quite watery as they added too much ice. Don’t come here. Please.

Got in for a Java chip takeaway. It was 90% ice ,5% coffee and 5% milk. It was so terrible that I couldn’t drink any after taking a couple of sips.

They never answer the phone! Why list a number if the staff don't answer!?

Over £3 for a very small coffee. At least it tasted alright. Service not good. Four young people behind counter, all talking to each other. Customers waiting. No social etiquette at all, no manners. Poor.

Waited to be served for 5 minutes without any sign of any staff. Waited a further 5 minutes for drink to be made. Staff rude, disinterested and incredibly slow.

Always great vegan options for on the go. Staff always friendly

Everytime I go after 9pm they stop serving iced frappes because they are cleaning

The girl that served me here on 7/5/23 was incredibly rude, I asked if she could scan my app for the reward points to be told I was showing her the wrong thing ! I showed her the barcode bit on the scan and pay section, she rudely argued that I should show her the scan only part ! When i told her I always only use the one I showed she dismissed me in a very arrogant manner and told me imhad never done that !! Shenever asked if I wanted to use my rewards or pay for the drinks and simply used my rewards when i didnt want to. She should never be allowed to talk to customers in that way, awful experience.

Went to get some lunch with a colleague. Ordered a panini to eat in. Very pleasant male staff member but no plate given. Not overly concerned as it was only a quick stop. Returned to counter on the way out to get a cake to take back to work. The girl behind the counter barked, what I now understand to be, 'Can I take a name for your order'. I thought she was in the middle of speaking to someone on her headphone at first as she didn't seem to be talking to me. She repeated herself and I said that I was sorry as I thought she was talking to someone else. She then just repeated the phrase a third time and I stated that I only wanted a cake. She was then unbelievably rude with the way she dealt with me. The cake was slammed into the bag and shoved across the counter. Unpleasant experience.

Have used this store in the past, but I realised why I don't use it that often. The coffee isn't that good.

Went and parked on Starbucks thinking I could go in to get a coffee with a friend. Most expensive coffee of my life, got slapped with a £100 fine! It appears that Starbucks actually don't want customers, which is odd considering the number of tables and chairs in there. Avoid!!

Very clean place staff lovely definitely go again

Just came round drive thru Large caramel late with cream which they forgot and double expresso shot. The annoying thing is i have been short changed. Order came to £8.25 given £10 should have £1.75 change got given £1.05. Really need 0.70p that bad after spending alot money on reburshing the place. Utter joke. My 3 daughters under 5 yrs can do better maths and would given me the correct change.

Coffee. Looked, smelt, tasted and felt like it. Smooth brew.

Really disappointed to see that after a refurbishment that the doors were closed at 19:00 open for drive through only! Such a shame , looks like it would have been lovely to appreciate inside. Even worse when the signs next to the door say they close at 11 !

Attended a business meeting here a few weeks or so ago. The other party picked up the tab. We were both fined for exceeding the 1 hour limit on the car park. A 1 hour limit on a car park where people meet to discuss business? Appealed and got nowhere. Disgusting and I will not use this, or any other Starbucks venues again for any business purposes.

I met for a business meeting on 09.01. We bought drinks totalling £11.55 each and stayed 1 hour 43 mins. Staff were helpful but unfortunately the chain has decided to partner with parkingeye, who have promptly issued a £100 fine for staying over an hour. I have appealed but to have a chain that supports fining customers who use the premise is pretty shambolic. Needless to say I won’t be back and will use other coffee shops locally. I’m sure I won’t be missed and they won’t be arsed.

In need of new cups ,the cups we had were chipped ,marked etc considering the price of drinks a bit of tlc is needed (sat in )

Depending on what staff are on depends wether or not you can get a certain coffee and wether or not it taste nice.

Barista had his hands full, making drinks for inside customers as well as drive through, so we waited quite a while for our drinks. Long enough for our food to be luke warm by the time they were ready. I'm sure it will improve

I ordered a gingerbread late for nearly 6pound and it tasted like tap water and smelled sewege. When I drove past the next Starbucks in ormskirk I pulled in to return it and they refused and said it wasn't from there shop. Starbucks has horrible customer service for the price they charge needless to say you have lost loyal customer over rude staff.

More of a drive thru than a sit in. Very cold and empty inside, was quite busy so there was a lot of dirty tables. I will re visit but definitely go drive thru rather than inside. Drinks and food where ok. More a novelty than a quality experience plus prices seem to keep going up.

Not the friendliest of places!! Had to move 3 times as the place was so cold! Door was being fixed and window open for Drive-thru so no matter where we sat we were frozen! I mentioned it to one of 2 girls on shift who didn’t respond at all. Literally not one word!!! The only friendly staff member was a lad who said he’d put the heating on for us when I said they should be providing blankets with each drink ordered! We would have been warmer if we’d taken a seat outside instead!!!! I will never visit this place again, over priced and bloody freezing!!!!!
