The Crusty Cob Sandwich Bar in St. Helens

DONT ever go here!!! Disgusting food 😠 feel like I've just been robbed by a cafe it cost £10 - went in the bin I don't have a 🐕 but if I did I wouldn't have given it to a 🐕 🐕

A very good breakfast that not only was great value for money but it was cooked fresh and to your liking . We call there when we're ever in Newton or surrounding area the little cafe is spotless clean and the staff are good we always leave a tip as it's well worth the money and the girls are always pleasant . Well done to the crusty cob for being a real pleasant experience I've given 5 stars but if I could I'd make it 10 stars top grub and go service👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sent complet wrong order but receipt in the bag was correct, called up and they asked am i sure as that is what I ordered, i said the receipt is what i had ordered but the food isnt, they said they will bring another order if and when they can. I go here quite often and i have noticed the past couple weeks it has gone sevierly down hill with the food and service

Great little sandwich shop. I have nipped here from work on a couple of occasions when I haven't taken anything for lunch. Great fresh bread. Good choice of fillings. Served by friendly staff.

Fantastic service, always served promptly. Food always great standard. If you need delivery, again very quick, especially on a Sunday morning after you've had one too many 🙈😂

Good local food. Large portions and always fresh. Delivery is also available. Somtimes busy so at peak times its betterto phone your order through for pick up.

Bacon, Cheese & Fried onion barms are the best. Aways plenty on the barms and taste the best. Every Saturday morning ritual on my bad day of dieting.

We have deliveries from Crusty Cob to work quite often. The food is always delivered quickly and is extremely fresh and tasty.

Ordered twice from here, 1st time I had a chicken Cajun baguette (which was a soft roll) & my partner had a burger....Baguette was filled with some gooey sauce which literally made it heavy saggy bread! 2nd time was for breakfast & the sausages look like mini fingers, pale & very poor quality & defo not worth the price....seems to have customers when I go in, but in my opinion it's because there's not a sandwich shop in a close proximity. Only plus is they do deliver if over £9

Have been going here for a couple of years now and I am always happy with the food that is offered. Recently I ordered 2 Mega Breakfasts (which comes with tea,coffee or a can) to be delivered which is convenient and the woman on the phone was nice and we got told it would take about 20 minutes and it came quicker than that so good and quick service. Would definitely order again

sent my boyfriend for a sausage on toast and this is what i get, looks disgusting never mind tasting it, coming back for a full refund

The crusty cob is open on a sunday 9am - 2pm so feel free to come and enjoy the lovley food abd excellent service

I went here with my two children (7&5) as we were really hungry and fancied takeaway breakfast. It was the last day of the summer hols so a bit of a treat. We all had a breakfast on toast. Lovely. Very clean establishment, friendly staff and excellent service. There were other people in and being served but we didn't have to wait very long. All the food was cooked in front of us and we finished the lot when we got home. Very tasty food - would definitely recommend.

Told to come back in 20 min during opening times after going out my way to visit wont be going back.
