Under cooked pie and cold pasties one warm and hard one perfect service very slow baker to concerned with check list still produced under cooked pies

Been a few times to Whistlers, always great service ,friendly staff, yesterday took my sister & friend , we all commented what a lovely cozy eatery, pipping hot Latte's which were excellent, will definitely be visiting again

Having booked for a meal after a family funeral for 35 I was amazed to discover on arrival that there was no milk available for teas, coffees etc. Even volunteering to go and collect some milk and was immediately told that I could not do that . To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Returning a few days later I have now been informed that no coffees are available due to a shortage of staff. Also no white sugar for teas. Having visited each week for the last 2 years .

I visited Whistles tea room today with family. All food was delicious and fresh made with quality ingredients. Staff were very kind and helpful. The tea room itself was lovely, spotless and lovely inside. Will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!

Awful food Had a chicken burger it was cold bacon was hard and so burnt, you don’t go out and pay for a meal which is served cold food should be off a temperature at 70 when probe and over , not served cold . Disgusting first time here and never again

Had a busy day Christmas eve day so when we got to the resturant on the evening I was in need of a chill out. The atmoshpere was lovley. Very pleasant staff and the young lady who served on is, Ruby, was lovley and so helpful from start to finish. The food was delicious. My partner had the fish and chips and I didn't want a large meal so opted for a starter and chips. I'm vegatarian. It was the nicest starter I've had for a while. Breaded porchini mushrooms and stilton dip. I asked for the recipe of the dip it was sooooo tasty. Not only did the chief give me the recipe he gave me a sample in a tub. How kind was that. We felt so chilled when we left. We visit the Stanley Arms often and even had my husbands birthday party there last year. Never disappointed. Thankyou

The Pizza here used to be really good but now it's just mushy and tastes like Baked Beans 🤢

Great food, good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Place needs a refresh & toilets need to be better maintained.

We went for a family meal and there were people in there smoking next to the kids play area and when you say to staff about this they where there family so they was OK I will never be going back it was dirty and rundown

I stayed the night here. I’m local and know the area. I’m disabled but unless you know the signs not visible. I have also trained and delivered the highest customer services for our flag carrier airline and others. The customer service from Lauren and Gemma went the extra mile plus! Would I stay here again? Sign me up!!
