Under cooked pie and cold pasties one warm and hard one perfect service very slow baker to concerned with check list still produced under cooked pies

Beef was so tough couldnt even eat it and ordered mac and cheese barely get any of it and then it tasted just like a microwave meal and found plastic in it which confirms its a microwave meal! Told the staff and no apology or anything was given. And for the atmosphere it was awful expected it to be quiet for a sunday and the tv was blasting with football on

Having booked for a meal after a family funeral for 35 I was amazed to discover on arrival that there was no milk available for teas, coffees etc. Even volunteering to go and collect some milk and was immediately told that I could not do that . To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Returning a few days later I have now been informed that no coffees are available due to a shortage of staff. Also no white sugar for teas. Having visited each week for the last 2 years .

Griffin inn was a great place to stay I enjoyed my time here had a blast with family and friends

Booked online and asked to be sat away from any doors. On arrival they sat us rite next to the door. Ordered a pint of dark fruits and as it was coming out all frothy the miserable barman went to change the barrel. On return he said it was faulty and we had to order a different drink. Ordered food on the phone app what was probably the best thing about the whole experience and it come out within about 20 minutes. Food was supposed to be sizzling when it come out and it was not. It was cooked but not sizzling like advertised. Chips had all black spots on them as it looked like the cooking oil needed changing. Kids were running wild around us doing cartwheels as we was also close to a toy machine. Nobody come to ask us how the food was they just threw it at us the took the half full plates away when we had finished. I know it’s a family pub but 2 adults by themselves should be sat away from the play area. Also the building looks run down from the outside and could also do with a good clean inside. I’m the men’s toilet there was 2 sit down toilets. One was blocked and overflowing. The other had a massive turd floating in it. We will not be returning here. Ever.

We went for a family meal and there were people in there smoking next to the kids play area and when you say to staff about this they where there family so they was OK I will never be going back it was dirty and rundown
