Great addition to Eccleston this is. they serve peas and gravy to make a takeaway for lunch. bacon / sausage barms for breakfast and are open on a Sunday. Don't see how you can improve on that.

I enjoyed the tasty hot meat and potato pie I bought today. The staff were very friendly. I treated myself to a vanilla slice too! I will be a regular customer as it’s very near to my home. It was busy but I didn’t have to wait. Plenty of free parking available.

All the feel and look of a great country pub (because it is) a stones throw away from the East Lancs Road. Great atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding food due to the attention to detail. Specials menu always worth a look. Booking is easy and well worth it.

Bishop RoadWent for a funeral, The catering was very good, Bar staff very friendly, the toilets were nice and clean, infact, the whole place was very clean

474 Warrington RoadI came here again today... The Rocket has never looked better... Paula has the place looking great.. very popular with locals with a friendly atmosphere The outside bar is a great addition, perfect for the the warmer days. Plenty of outside seating and covered patio makes The Rocket a perfect retreat to enjoy some fun times during them hot summer days. Like all punch pubs the Rocket is Dog friendly and has plenty of free carparking. Darts, a pool table and live sports also on offer. 😎
