Absolutely fantastic, been going here for years and always consistent great quality food and super value for money. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Arriving shortly after opening time we availed of outside seating, in the shade underneath the sturdy build brick canopy.
An inviting breakfast menu is on offer. Opting for an Eggs Benedict and cereal was perfect, with coffee and cappuccino.
It was getting increasingly busy as time went on, but staff were great, cheerful and efficient throughout.
A grand start to the day.
First visit for a Boris bargain. Wednesday 4.45pm. Staff very professional, wiped tables, tables spaced out, markers on floor by carvery.Got busy as we were leaving and louder as more families arrived.Great food and great service and we felt safe.Don’t think the menus were single use .....thought they had to be....?.Massive thank you to all the staff for a great experience.Ps book on line
What a friendly welcoming pub
Our husbands went to watch the football
We joined in the bingo, thoroughly enjoyed it most professional and as we were new to the bingo very informative
Will be back 😁
Thought we were going to have a superb takeaway judging from previous reviews.
We paid top dollar (£59- which we were pre warned about when ordering) for two mains with egg fried rice.
We were sorely disappointed and felt thoroughly ripped off.
The mains were average and the fried rice was gloopy.
Never again. Save your money.
Having walked nearly 10 miles along the beach, the dunes and through the pinewoods, Kitty’s Tea Rooms were a very welcome sight! I only wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t resist the coffee walnut cake (YUM) and a very tasty Club Sandwich. Very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect.
I come to Southport occasionally and am always looking for the best place for lunch and today my wife and I tried the café inside the Atkinson. I had a chicken and bacon wrap which clearly freshly made and with nice salad, together with a good strong espresso. My wife had a lovely tuna melt panini and americano coffee. Combined with very friendly service from all the staff, this made a great dining experience. I know where we will coming for lunch next time we come to Southport.
Popped in today very wary at the moment first time I've sat out for something to eat, Met by a lovely lady ordered a Mocha which is actually made by the Lady herself which was by far the best I've tried Hubby and myself had Baguettes they were delicious, people were well spaced out which was fab place was spotless I would definitely return, Thankyou for making our 1st eat out experience a comfortable one.
This is our 2nd visit for Sunday lunch. The food was really good. However the service was very slow this time. We waited an hour for our main after having our starter. We were also sat next to the door. Which on a very cold day in December was not ideal. Every time the door opened there was a cold blast. We were a table of 5 the previous visit it was just 2 of us. So not sure if this is the reason the food took so long. As the Kitchen only looks small.
