Fantastic Day at Petrichor for Aintree Grand National, fabulous atmosphere in here wonderful staff they allow dogs in which we love and we always meet lovely people and bump into our neighbours see you next Saturday

Plenty to choose from on the menu, and the pies and sausage rolls are home made & looked so tempting, The cakes looked so tempting, will try them at another time, yes we certainly will return,

First time visit with my wife despite only living five minutes away. Fantastic meal offer of £20 for two courses and drinks - amazing! Burger and chips along with desserts were delicious. Atmosphere was fab and staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely return soon. Thanks Team Valentine 👍

Cosy little restaurant, best hot and sour soup I have had, seven of us ate, we had a wide selection of food all of it was very nice, service was also super! Highly recommend.

Food was ok, we ordered 4 special banquets A’s and didn’t get the extra course even when we enquired about it. I thought it was quite expensive too.

The place is nice and clean. The barista on the till, Liam, was very polite and professional. He make me one of the best coffees I ever tasted with a beautiful flower on it! Recommended 100%

Hand dryer in men’s toilet not working cubicle door hanging off no locks on cubicles service very slow ran out of steak chicken nuggets not proper chicken more like a chicken paste had to go and get a member of staff to take our orders after waiting 45 mins then wait 1 hour and 20 mins before getting the food which wasn’t that hot only just warm when complained about chicken nuggets member of staff argued and raised his voice and was shouting at us.

Service is amazing we always visit on walks from the canal dog friendly with a menu for dogs many food options please do go if you visit !!

Came in over valentines with my girlfriend, great menu lots to choose from, food fast and very delicious. Ribs melt off bone and steak the best I’ve had. Service was excellent would go here again

Very disappointed. Scoozi in Ormskirk was closed (wouldn’t let us order online and opening times on their website were updated), so ordered online at the Aintree one for collection instead as their opening hours said they were open today, let me place my order online and pay with Apple Pay. Turned up to collect my order and it was closed!!

Nando’s is always nice food. Although the size of the thighs vary is size to some extreme. I ordered x2 hummus for me and my colleague and then was told that I didn’t order it when they forgot to add two instead of one. I found that as gas lighting a customer, I didn’t like it.

Cafe used to be pleasant but now a punishing experience. No one manages the tables anymore so you can queue , buy food and have no where to eat it! No more saucers or little oat biscuits. You have to forage for cutlery and request salt which is invariably bunged up. Tea still in pots but very weak with tiny jug of inadequate milk. Plus you have to wait a long time for any re heated food. Simply not worth the cost. I have kept hopeful for the last few years but will now break my shopping by going elsewhere as no longer an enjoyable experience.
