Food is emaculate. Probably the best Chinese restaurant you could find. We have never been disappointed with any dish we've had and the mixed starter is superb.

Just ordered from here for take out. The food was absolutely gross, swimming in grease and no taste to the chow mein other than oil. The salt and pepper chips were crinkle frozen chips with chilli pepper in and tasted of nothing but grease, The food was cooked quick though, just a shame it was practically inedible.

Great value set menu. Lovely food. Egg fried rice used to be amazing, bring it back!

We ordered a large family Order and informed the silver star that I have a nut allergy. The AMAZING team not only changed the oils they cooked in for all of my menu items, but then labelled it in a Separate bag. Credit where it’s due - amazing service. Food Was delicious. THANK YOU

This place I don't go to often enough. It's a little gem of a place. There are 10 tables very homely feel about it. Food and service are bar none. Never had a bad comment to make. It is very reasonably priced, especially the early bird menu. But my advice would be to book beforehand the place is always busy.

Grand service especially as it seemed rather busy with takeway orders we were well looked after, all the meats we had were lovely.

We've been eating here for many years. The food is great, the service is outstanding, and I always feel like I'm going in to see friends when I visit. They are happy to accommodate for me and my partners requests to change the dishes. For instance, I'm vegan and regularly get the crispy chilli sauce with Singapore vermicelli, side order of rice and chips, all made vegan, plus it lasts two meals so I warm it up the next day for lunch. Absolutely great team of people and great food.

Went here on a Friday with my wife, most say food was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chilled. The waiter's were friendly,attentive and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend a visit 👍👍👍

A great Chinese restaurant find. We were a walk in and they managed to squeeze us in. It's only small and seems very popular for takeaway. Portion sizes are great. Staff are friendly and prices are great.

Brilliant little place good family businrss

This place has been going for years. Once you visit, you'll know why. Great service, great food and great prices. We took advantage of midweek 'early bird' offer as a family of 3. Everything was excellent, the staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Would highly recommend this local gem!

Worst food I have ever had the meat is like it came from a dog tin the rice was terrible and the meals were tasteless

We went for a meal here on the 16th March.we had the happy hour set menu and could not fault it. It was delicious and there was enough.The staff were very attentive and polite.New napkins after each course was welcome ,not had that before .Only a small restaurant so book before you go .But definatley well worth a visit ,we will certainly be going back.

Came across silver star by accident very thankful We did as the food was amazing. best we’ve had even, staff are very kind and friendly tiny down side is small dine area so personally recommend trying to get in the corners of the room just not to feel awkward but food and staff made it a none issue just should be aware of dining in, again staff and food were just amazing will be back on a regular basis.

I took my granddaughter and nieces here for a birthday treat and we had a lovely evening. There was a tea time special offer available which we decided to have and it was a nice meal. There was plenty of options available on it and the food was delicious. One of my nieces is a very fussy eater and she enjoyed her food (which is very rare) so that’s a good sign! The restaurant staff were very helpful and was willing to accommodate my request for crispy noodles. Although they wasn’t crispy when they arrived as they put all the sauce on top of them 🙈 but it was nice nevertheless. I would definitely return here. The total bill for 4 of us including two soft drinks each was £57.00, which is excellent value for money. My niece was so full she took her food home with her cause she said it was too nice to throw away.

Not been for a while I was a little put off by the food hygiene report earlier this year but the food was 1st class service is excellent it's very busy as well booking is recommended as they are very busy nice to see the locals supporting this local business

My friend and I dine out quite often in various types of restaurants. This is not the largest but one of the best Chinese restaurants which is quite busy even early in the evening. Tbe food is excellent as is the service, the downside for me is that lack of non alcohol beer, but I managed with a shandy .

Haven't been to the Silver Star for a long time as I moved out of the area and last time I visited I heard it had got a poor hygiene rating from the council. Visited relatives last week and they said they had heard good reviews so we got a takeaway. Everything was delicious. The staff are always so pleasant and polite. I would recommend to anyone to give it a try.

2nd time i have been to this restaurant and it was brilliant and enjoyed the meal will go back again.

I had the Rory's Burger - blend of chuck, short rib and hangar steak, cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, mayo, and I also added the optional avocado.This was much better than the standard lunch burgers on the mountain and it definitely is a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of much busier Park City.

Having visited here twice in the past few weeks I can say we was really pleased with our visit. Food lovely service pleasant. So it's a thumbs up from me

My husband and I enjoyed the early bird meal with soup, prawn crackers, starters and main courses. Each dish was beautifully cooked using the finest ingredients and the pleasant service was spot on. The restaurant has a relaxing ambience and is spotlessly clean. We will be back very soon!

Lovely, friendly local Chinese restaurant. Only a small place, but usually busy. Service in restaurant is spot on - but sometimes a bit of a wait if you order to collect. Food is always great so worth the wait!

Althou it is plain inside, do not be put off, the food well makes up for it. There is a take away option also, good menu and reasonable. If pubs are your thing, there is nothing really exciting for you.Staff friendly.
