Ju Fu in Sefton

Stumbled across it as we were out driving it was quiet at the time but food was amazing and staff couldn't do enough for you, reasonably priced aswell, will definitely be returning, best Chinese I have been too so far 💯👍

Obviously chicken is old hens there was no way I could eat it. Chips discusting very disappointed indeed not ate it after tasting the chicken then near threw up. How can you get Chips wrong . Also salt pepper chicken was poor quality. If you have never been don't bother I only went for a quick tea. As said my 1st time

For the price this is a fantastic, below £25 per person with drinks. Chinese. Hot & sour soup is 10/10, best I've tasted. Crispy duck & pancakes, Duck 10/10, pancakes, not enough, 6 between 2, had to ordered another portion, Prawn and mushroom, amazing 👏 😋 😍 10/10, beef & green pepper/ black bean sause 9/10. House wine, very palatable, order the bottle, better value, their idea of large is questionable. Regardless of any very slight blemishes in imperfection of 10/10 ( not enough pancakes), fantastic local Chinese!! Service so polite and attentive. Loved my first visit!!!

Love dining here , used to live in maghull and it was always popular with locals. I now travel from Formby, pleasant welcoming staff and food is delicious and delivered to your table with a smile. Reasonable prices to suit all pockets and lots of good choice.

Really good value teatime banquet deal (16:30-20:00) for £11.50. Very efficient, friendly service. Have returned many times and will be back

Ju fu for the first time after living here in Maghull for 18 months. We are so particular with Chinese and know what we like. Ju fu didn’t disappoint! Food was amazing and service great! Couldn’t fault it. Thank you for a lovely meal x

Very nice food efficient staff. We had the set menu which was lovely but had to add a few extra starters and only one soup included others were an additional cost.

Food is not tasty and good than I expected.

Food wasn’t very nice, tasteless and watery meals(chicken satay, chilli chicken, chicken curry) Duck over cooked, dry and had no taste. Prawn toast, tasted greasy. Salt and pepper chicken wings greasy and soft, no meat on ribs. None of it apart from the chips where nice. Hot and sour soup was like dirty dish water. Not one to moan but Hopefully restaurant see my review to read my feedback. Wasted £42

I’ve eaten here many times. Food is lovely, staff are really friendly and prices are good. We’ve even had birthdays here, and we’ve been allowed to dress the table etc. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Went to the Ju Fu for the first time this evening. Absolutely delicious food. Every single thing was perfect, not one negative thing can I say. Excellent service, clean and spacious. I will definitely be going back and I definitely recommend.

What a great place. Just been with the wife tonight and what a place. The food was so tasty and amazing value for money and the staff are absolutely great such nice people. Cant wait to return.

My Boyfriend and I booked a Table for Friday 17th July. We were so disappointed that they have stopped serving the set menu. We have been coming here for a good few years but unfortunately we will not be coming again.

We have visited the Ju Fu for the past twenty years and we have taken many friends, family and our vistors from all around the world. We have always had a lovely evening with great service and exceptionally great chinese / cantonese cuisine. I dont think we have ever had a bad experince or meal in all that time....thats some going for any resturante these days....maybe the interior is looking a bit dated...

Always nice food at Ju Fu, only slight negative would be there is no meat on the ribs, other than that the food is delicious. Nice friendly staff.

Tonight I visited Ju Fu restaurant with my family. There were seven of us and the meal was outstanding. Ken our waiter was courteous friendly and prompt with everything we required. We ordered Beef Duck Chicken Pork dishes wonderful seaweed and the signature dish of fillet steak. Every dish was excellent and my family who are all Chinese thought the food was first class. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food and friendly first class service.

Had the set menu for £10 very good value food delicious chicken was so tender. Place was very busy but service was quick will definitely go back!!

Pleasant staff, resonable prices.

Absolutely despicable. Awful food. Rubbish portions. I even asked what was In the seafood hot pot to which the response was " a pot with seafood and stuff" would you believe. They served the pot took the lid off and walked away. Best advice is carry on till u see the KFC or the golden arches. Best thing here was the single point that the walk home is less than 1 minute. Save ya doe and go to heron in the square.

We went here and I had chicken curry and my stomach was cramping for 2 days after, and I know it was here because I hadn’t ate nothing else that day. To be honest the service was awful, won’t be coming back.

Never been here before however after tonight I definitely will be returning and recommending to everyone I know! Food was absolutely lovely and staff were even better! The young girl who works there was so lovely with my son (it’s hard going out to eat with a 1 year old) she made me feel at ease and nothing was a problem (even when he tipped the rice all over the floor)! Prices really reasonable and lovely and clean! Thankyou will be returning!

Beautiful food is cooked to perfection never had a bad dish yet - I've had a quite a few dishes from here as well, Beef King Pao is to die for loads of flavour.

Nice food, good service and cheap

This restaurant is local to us but we had never been before. Booked a table for 6 pm on a Saturday night. Good time as not very busy with patrons. All had different food, bbq spare ribs ( a little tough ), salt n pepper chicken wings and prawn crackers to start. Crispy Duck, Chicken Curry, Beef Green Peppers and Beef Mushroom with Rice and Chips. Drinks for 4, £64 for the lot. All the food was piping hot and service very good would deffo go again but probably sub the ribs for something else. Also does takeaways with 20% discount off menu price, excellent extensive menu.

Had the banquet there. Very very tasty food. Would be good for couples or family meals. Good price and excellent service. Will definitely go again.

Great staff and service, food quality is good and prices are reasonable with a good four course special.

Good food. Friendly staff. Only thing to let it down where the ribs which where chewy and had very little taste. However we would return as everything else was nice and it was bargain price for midweek banquet at 10.50 each.

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces antes, y siempre ha estado contento con la calidad y cantidad de la comida y del servicio, sin embargo, visita de esta noche fue muy decepcionante. La comida estaba a la altura de alto estándar, y uno de nuestro grupo pedimos algo de realizarse que no estaba en el menú que él dijo era deliciosa, pero el servicio era terrible. Antes no teníamos nos sentamos cuando nos preguntaron si queríamos pedir, no estábamos listos. Cuando pedimos, tres de las entradas llegaron aproximadamente en el mismo tiempo, mientras que la cuarta tardado tanto en llegar que los otros tres habían comido. Después pasamos mucho tiempo esperando el plato principal y nos dijeron que estaba en camino, varias veces, tardaban demasiado y nos dijeron que había problemas en la cocina, claramente no es para todo el mundo en el restaurante, sólo nosotros. Curiosamente, nos pidieron pronto después habíamos empezado, ya que habíamos terminado por tres diferentes camareros, cuando evidentemente no lo es. Pedimos un cuchillo y palillos que tuvo una edad. No ofrecen de postre ni café. Mientras todo esto sucedía, esperando había un sendero de constante de comensales yendo y viniendo, así como gran cantidad de 'a domicilio' estar preparada. Se sentó en 6. 30 y terminado en 9, no es lo suficientemente bueno para una comida de dos platos. Se piensa dos veces antes de volver.

we have just eaten @ ju fu maghull and was pleasantly surprised at the prices the food was tasty but some of the dishes were slightly over salty I will be returning as we got a warm welcome and great service

Love this restaurant we live close by. The food is gorgeous plenty on the menu. They have special set menu sunday to Friday good price. Staff are really friendly and it is really nice and cozy inside.

Crispy duck to die for absolutely amazing especially the greasy crispy bits that have been perfectly fried.

Mi novio y yo fuimos al instante pensé "Y YO honestamente no recuerdo por qué paramos' La comida era absolutamente precioso y sabroso. Obtienes mucho por su dinero que tuve que tomar la casa resto porque no pude terminar!

Sido el jufu un montón de IME distintos a lo largo de los años China siendo uno de mis alimentos favoritos a muchos restaurantes en Liverpool este pequeño restaurante familiar es el mejor con diferencia.

We come here regularly. Food is consistently good, service excellent. There's a cheap option every night except Saturday.

Last night we made an unplanned visit for a meal and I must say that the Service was first class, very friendly and helpful staff and the food was lovely

I come here often as the Banquet for £10.50 is so worth every penny and more I'd say and good quality well cooked tasty dishes (I've tried them all) Crispy Won Tons are a must try from here!!!. The place is neat clean and tidy, great family of staff, always friendly, i've been here over 15 times now and never ever been dissatisfied one bit. Kids love it here too. I'm a stickler for good food and I can't fault this place ever. Would definitely recommend this great little restaurant.

We have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and have always had fantastic food. There special banquet menu is very good value for money. The staff are always courteous, friendly and efficient. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I can recommend their hot and sour soup and lemon chicken - delicious. Seriously recommend a visit.

We had a lovely meal here for our anniversary. As the only people in the Resturant, the service was brilliant. The food was tasty apart from the crispy seaweed, but they took that off the bill without being asked. Really pleasant evening and will definitely go back again

We went here in March for my husband's nan's birthday as it is one of her favourite local Chinese restaurant's. This is the second time I have been here but it's been a long time since the first time I ate here. The food was really good we got quite a selection of starters prawn toast, salt and pepper sumai, crispy duck and pancakes all were really tasty and our mains were just as good; we all cleared our plates. The staff were pleasant and there was a reasonable time between starters and mains.

Not been here for a while so thought we would give it a try. Very busy on arrival but seated quickly. Table wasn't dressed with cutlery etc but thought that would be done before we ordered. It wasn't and order was taken. Got the first starter after a longish wait and they had missed off a request. We requested this along with cutlery and napkins etc. They brought the missing item then we had to ask again for table to be dressed. Our soup's also didn't arrive for a good while either and when they did we had to ask again for spoons. Appreciate they were busy but has to be a cut off point between forgetting or ignoring requests. I honestly believe they forgot but a bit bad all the same. We did get a apology when we asked for the bill but it did cloud our evening and conversation. On a positive food was nice.

Our family goes here all the time but the food has gone downhill the last year. Defo change of chef, some stuff frozen (expected really) and still stuck together.

Visited jufu this evening with my two sons very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere kids made to feel welcome which is important to me. Food was lovely and waitress was very pleasant. Would definitely return as only live locally.

Went here on a Tuesday night when we couldn't decide what to have for tea. Service and food both excellent. Staff very friendly. Will definitely go again.
