Just wanted to thank you Helen for the fabulous service today very professional and attentive. Also the kitchen staff having to deal with two fussy eaters.

Couldn’t fault the service But food poor we left both meals half eaten and restaurant freezing . Both felt ill on the way home ( no previous feelings of sickness) and both ill on reaching home . Stomach is so sore

Food was very good we both had Ultimate mixed grill. Sarah are waitress was friendly and fast serving us an always checking we where ok .

Restaurant was busy, not delivery drivers fault

popped in yesterday, Tuesday Oct 1st for a late lunch and drinks whist shopping at the retail park. Food was really nice, place very clean and welcoming, decked out with lots of decorations for Halloween. But what made it all a very pleasant experience was our waitress. She greeted us immediately and allowed us to settle in. Helen was so lovely and she couldn't have done enough for us. Helen is an absolute credit to the place and is the reason we would return again. We eat out a lot and sadly do not expect to have a totally good experience of great food, clean, welcoming restaurant and excellent service. Mostly you very rarely have the good fortune to be looked after by someone like Helen. Annette, Liverpool

I was in on Sunday 22nd meal was great and the manager and waiting staff where lovely they couldnt of done more for us, they even give us free corn bread which was delicious. Will be back again soon.

Being served by just a single employee means you wait an extended period of time for seating and then for your order to be taken. The food, whilst fine in some ways, was overcooked, peas dry, steak almost dry. Rack of ribs was overcooked. Dirty Burger was dry and fish was shrunk away from batter. This is all down to our food sitting there on the serving hatch for a good while, while we watched and waited, as servers we're non-existent for periods of time. Pity that, and we probably won't be going back.

Helen was amazingly helpful and told us everything we needed to know. She was friendly and had an atmosphere around her that you wouldn’t find anywhere else with anyone else. So important to us to have a friendly welcome. Thank you Helen very much from us all!

We have had the greatest pleasure of going to this restaurant for the last couple of weeks and I can honestly say the food is the best I’ve had for a long time and our waitress leanne went above and beyond to see to our every need keep up the good work Leanne see you soon will be coming again and again

Helen was a breath of fresh air in terms of her personality. Some of the staff seem abit "scripted" when they speak to you. Well done amd thank you. Sat right underneath the speaker which seemed to get loader after asking to turn it down

Helen our waitress was absolutely lovely, very attentive, and really happy and smiling 😃 Food lovely, music was very loud as sat under the speaker but Helen did try and help by turning it down.

Fab service, the lady who served us was a pleasure, very friendly unfortunately didn’t get her name but she’s a credit to this place. Kids loved the salad bar but the kids pizzas were a little bit over done but they lashed them up in no time, burgers are delicious as was the fudge cake. Would definitely return

The service and food was great, a little more pricey than I would like but still very good, I came with my daughter for my birthday and the lady that waited on us was lovely.

Absolutely dreadful how anyone can score this place highly is Beyond me. The food is below average had a chicken burger and I swear to god it’s a Birds Eye frozen chicken fillet kids pizza came out frozen! It was that bad the cheese was still grated 😂😂 staff clueless no direction just walk round aimlessly waited ages for an ice cream loads of people around us complaining about the food salad bar disgusting mess I could go on but the bottom line is for the price they charge this place is rubbish! Only went because I had a voucher and it still wasn’t worth it! AVOID

We went for breakfast, we had to send our food back as poached eggs were not cooked, they re did them and they were still not cooked. The waitress goes up to the chef and shouts that man is complaining again, everyone in the place heard, then another lady sent her eggs back as hers were not cooked. The manager took one off the breakfasts off the bill x don’t think I will be back x

Great service from Toni for our first visit at our local Harvester. Was seen to speedily and use of free refills and salad bar explained and pointed out to us. Food was gorgeous and atmosphere was likable and chilled. X

Had a lovely time here. Our waitress, Toni was amazing, great service, gave us extra time to choose. She was lovely, the food was great we had chosen from the main menu, she explained and advised on different dishes we chose a harvester combo and steak and ribs. The meats were cooked to perfection(steak medium rare was perfect). We had a lovely experience and will be back in the near future...... food 5* Toni 5* Thank you for a great time xx

Lovely food, reasonably priced, Annette & Cathy were super friendly & nice plus it’s a great place to go to eat with your dog as our’s was a so welcome, given treat’s & her own bowl of water!

Just took my 84 year old mother in law plus 8 other adults and a baby for evening 3 course meal. Great atmosphere, staff who served us 2 ladies were outstanding and took our order promptly and professionally. Food was hot and tasty. Exceptional value for money and manager came and had a chat with us. Definitely recommend and definitely be back here to eat. Outstanding service.

Our host, Cathy, was brilliant - she made the whole dining experience great. She looked after us from shortly after we sat down until we left with excellent customer service. The food was lovely, the waiting times were adequate - I can't fault anything!

My second time to meet this adorable lady Helen showed me to my table and remember me from the last time I met her almost six months ago. What lovely lady pleasure to speak with. Had an absolutely beautiful meal was served by a lady called Cathy whom couldn’t be more helpful and a good laugh as well. I’d highly recommend both of these ladies and the harvester. Food is excellent and served quite quickly!

We had lovely food hot and taste you could tell the staff where understaffed as the 3 of them didn’t stop . From the minute we got in with myself the lady we support and another carer Helen was amazing and kept on apologising which she really didn’t need to you could tell how hard they were all working so hard . We did have a problem with vouchers we had but the Manager came and sorted it after many tries thank you so much will definitely return.

Food was cold and I didn’t get my salad

Firstly let me say the staff are lovely and the food fine but sadly on arrival ( having already pre booked) we stood waiting for approximately 10/15 mins for the staff to come to see us. Also while we where standing waiting at the entrance a party of 4 walked in and past us to the back of the restaurant hugging the waitress on duty and where promptly taken to a table and seated while we still waited !!... once we booked in we where taken to a table which was dirty ...the floor was full of food and drink and really quite disgusting ..the server apologised saying they had a large party in . ..we then sat down and actually had to ask if someone could take our order as we waited around 15 mins ...this restaurant is obviously extremely under staffed ...im really not getting at the servers they where apologetic and rushed off there feet but sadly I wouldn't go back as this is not the first time this has happened, I though the first time was a one off but obviously not ..management emply more staff, the restaurant was chocka so making enough money!!!

Went for lunch, took my folks out. Been before, so a return visit. Had the beef burger, straight forward one from lunch menu....can't fault it, had it last time but it's just the right size and shape and tastes spot on, smokey if you like it. Don't like it when you can't pick one up because everything is falling out, want a balance of all the ingredients and this works. That with the unlimited salad of your choice and range of sauces you can't fault it. Refill drinks too. Whats not to like? Will be back.

Very confused offers and staff! Check your bill for many errors! Also £4.30 for cordial is extortionate even if you can refill the glass.

Went to Harvester ended up walking out after 15 mins of being ignored. Very short staffed such a shame the staff looked run off their feet. Restaurant was filthy too. Not the staff fault they just need more of them in the school holidays

I used to come all the time but definitely gone down hill, and haven’t been back since, There was always a gang of us around 10 people but we all agreed that the place isn’t the same no more, The chicken is now like rubber.

It was my first time at Harvester in general. I was surprised how friendly the staff is so helpfull and kind ! We try burgers and they was amazing! Salad bar looked beautiful so much choices of everything and all fresh and af corse delicious! Will definitely come back its so close don't need to travel to Liverpool centre to have great food and amazing experience! Big thank you for Cathy and Ellen you two created amazing experience Thank you Ladies ! Will see you soon for sure!

Came for a belated Father’s Day breakfast. Our waitress Cathy was absolutely fabulous couldn’t have done anything more for us. Unfortunately the food was not great for everyone. Things where missing of the cooked breakfast, I ordered 2 extra poached eggs and on received one. All the eggs were hard boiled, so I asked for new ones and they came complete opposite end of the spectrum, very underdone. Totally understand they were busy and the chefs possibly had a lot going on but unfortunately the issues with the food did ruin the overall experience.

Had a lovely time, arrived and was sat down promptly by Cathy, Cathy is a credit to the company. Cathy catered to all our needs and had great hospitality skills, she even put a birthday candle over when she found out it was my birthday. No request was an issue and was always greeted with a smile.

Sarah was so helpful. My mum us disabled and she saw us coming and opened a side door to save mum walking round to the front door. She also did the same when we left. We will be back

Visited with family was absolutely fantastic as usual no faults, server was Sarah lovely and Stuart was also our server for desserts Micheal the chef our food was cooked to perfection as I'm fussy on how I like my steak the other chef Colin cooked everything to perfection also. I would recommend the harvester Aintree as there is a large selection off food on the menu and the kids menu to suit any budgets.

Mia was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is amazing & freshly cooked & the price is well worth what we paid. Would recommend to everyone.

Came here today for a birthday meal for my mum. I called up beforehand to see if we could drop a birthday cake off, spoke to Sturt, this was fine. He is really lovely and friendly. He served us last week as well when we went for food before going to see P!NK. We had a really lovely time tonight. Staff were really friendly and sang happy birthday whilst bringing the cake over. My mum had a lovely time, so Thank you 😊 xx

Food was poor, but previous week it was delicious. Waiting staff are run off there feet...front of house/manager poor attitude.

First and last visit. Warm lager , unpleasant food, bland. Poor service. Spend your money somewhere else. I'm surprised by the reviews that give this place 5 stars...

Second visit this month on business, very poor service , food overcooked bus load of Japanese tourists arrived and seemed to get all the attention.

Ordered 2 breakfasts they were given to the wrong table, waited for more to be made for them to be left on the side for ages with waitress walking past them repeatedly, hardly anyone in so wasn’t busy. Breakfasts eventually brought over so egg was cold, toast was more like soggy bread, waitress disappeared and didn’t come back to check everything was ok so couldn’t ask for more toast.

Great food every time, great service every time, Stuart (our server) was great. Would highly recommend, me and partner go often.
