Harvester Aintree Park in Sefton

Went there on a quiet Sunday night for dinner, 3 of us at the table, we ordered 2 of the mixed grills and one of us had a 3 course festive menu. Salad bar was depleted and staff seemed casual about refreshing it, only 1 mixed grill and the main on the festive menu came out. Asked about the second mixed grill 5 minutes later and was told that only one was put through to the kitchen, meaning my diabetic family member, who has taken their insulin, had to wait 15-20 minutes more than normal to eat

From looking at previous posts there seems to be a pattern here. We had brunch here and the manager was very rude. Everything felt an inconvenience and made to feel unwelcome. Not only to us but we witnessed the way an elderly flustered couple were treated because they had not booked and it was disgusting. I think this chain really needs to take note of the reviews referring to rude staff in particular the manager. I do not want to discuss my experience any further as I want nothing to do with this chain or pub again but others should know what standard they can expect when visiting this place.

Aintree is one of our favourite places to eat. The staff are great - helpful and accommodating. Leanne, in particular, is friendly, efficient and always happy to help. It's a great place to go and the breakfasts are lovely.

Sarah our waitress was great, lovely and Friendly. Food was lovely but the steaks were not even a little bit close to Rare and Medium Rare, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a lovely lunch

We came for a family meal. We ate off the festive menu and found the 2 course for £18.99 offer, fantastic value. Definitely recommend. Sarah took care of us from the outset and listened to the many requests from both boys of what food they did and did not want (mainly veg) on their plates.

Leanne S was looking after us tonight. She's so lovely and made sure my elderly mum was okwas so helpful. My mum us disabled and and opened a side door to save mum walking right round the outside. She is an asset & hope she is here next time.

Food was lovely nice and fresh and cooked to perfection, Cooked by Ciran Our server jasmine was so polite and very happy to serve with anything we needed nice to see happy staff and environment when going out for some brunch, restaurant very festive and clean. 10/10

Had the most amazing morning at harvester aintree we had breakfast with santa and it was just spot on! Manager and Staff dressed as elves whole resturant had decorations it was just magical! Atmosphere was great as always food was perfectly cooked and served! A great place for family Time

We enjoyed a lovely evening for our little boy’s birthday. The food was delicious with great presentation (chef Ciran) and our waitress Jasmine was very informative and attentive, a credit to the restaurant. The evening was topped off by the staff bringing out a birthday cake and singing to a very happy 4 year old!

Honestly, this is one of the best places we have been to. Without sounding cheesy, it was mainly down to the staff. Helen and the team where just incredible. They all went above and beyond. They made a huge fuss of our dog and child, the food was lovely we had a really great night. From what turned into a "let's just go in here for something quick to eat" has turned into "we will actually go out of our way to go back". Don't let the team you have leave, they gave us the best experience. Thanks guys!

As usual the food was amazing and of the high standard you always associate with Harvester, the difference today was our server Helen. It is hard to succinctly put into words how attentive, cordial and amazing she is. We literally felt like the most important people in the restaurant, Helen is very genuine and caring. If you could clone her, I would have one of her working in every branch. My other suggestion to Harvester, is to have new staff shadow Helen as she is a true asset. We have literally booked in our diary to come back soon, with great food and great service like today... its a no brainer.

Helen, our server, was absolutely fantastic, attentive and provided excellent customer service. Also reminded me about the bluelight discount.

I have absolutely loved walking in today seeing all the Christmas decorations. Beautiful lay out . Breakfast lovely staff really helpful and to top it off it’s dog friendly . So will be definitely be bringing mine next time . Other customers seemed happy to hear it’s dog friendly also . Thank you Mia

Visisted here for breakfast before we went shopping. Lovely atmosphere. Was greeted by a very cheerful guy on the door and served by a very happy lady. I think they were called Jason and Cathy. Food was delicious and loads of choice. Prices not bad. Will definitely be back.
