The place is nice and clean. The barista on the till, Liam, was very polite and professional. He make me one of the best coffees I ever tasted with a beautiful flower on it! Recommended 100%

We are regular customers at Costa. I feel I have to write on this occasion due to dreadful service. It is not cheap to eat at this establishment. This was the third time in this particular store that we have received dreadful service. We excused our previous visits due to them being busy. Today this was not the case. The staff too busy talking about Cream fields through their head sets. Our food was left at the counter to get cold ( we were not informed it was ready) no knife, no serviette. It was disgusting service. The tables were laden with dirty dishes. We had to move full trays ourselves. As stated they were not busy at this particular time. We will not visit this particular Costa again.

Good drive thru offering food and drinks, good range of coffees served fast. Ideal for coffee on the go. Thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻.

Style over substance. We went for my wife's birthday and the welcome was really nice, albeit her complementary prossecco turned up ten minutes before everyone else's drinks. The mains were very much a mixed bag. Cod loin was good but the lamb rump was full of sinue and gristle. My daughter couldn't cut hers with a steak knife and mine despite being very pink was tough. Both were sent back and when they returned they were clearly the same pieces of meat, over cooked, still full of gristle, and mine was monumentally over salted. As a piece of good will we were offered free desserts which was a nice gesture, but my wife's ice cream arrived a good 10 minutes before the rest of the desserts, the chocolate fondant was a very nice cake, but no fondant and the sticky toffee sundae had filling ripper rather than honeycomb and the sponge was very dry. As a positive at least we didn't get the mandatory optional service charge added to our bill. Go to Sorrento's if you are in the village.

We visited this restaurant again during our recent stay in Southport, It is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine with a bottle of wine on a sunny afternoon. We just had a light lunch,my husband had mini fish and chips and I had home made chicken soup with home made bread, both of which were delicious. My husband has mobility problems and as the toilet is upstairs the staff helped him up and down the stairs, which was very kind of them, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. I am sorry I do not know the names, but the young lady who I think owns the restaurant is lovely, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. She remembered us from our visit last year. Indeed all the staff are great and we will certain be visiting again when we are in Southport and would recommend it to anyone.

Had fish here quite alot over the years and always loved it. Visited yesterday on my way home from work and bought 3 fish and honestly the fish was awful. The fish was extremely dry and tough. £26 was honestly a waste of money. I doubt I'd ever order from there again.

Having walked nearly 10 miles along the beach, the dunes and through the pinewoods, Kitty’s Tea Rooms were a very welcome sight! I only wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t resist the coffee walnut cake (YUM) and a very tasty Club Sandwich. Very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect.
