Simply phenomenal. My wife had a halloumi wrap and it was delicious. I had smashed avocado toast with scrambled egg and feta. There were dried red pepper flakes on top which made everything much more better. We also had skinny fries and it came already salted with perfectly fried. Food was absolutely incredible. Service was really good and friendly as well. Only minus is that personally i didnt like the taste of coffee but i know i will drink it again. So an easy 5 star. If i could I would have given 6 or 7 or 10 ..

Amazing find, great menu, food is gorgeous and well presented. My new favourite place to eat, staff are really friendly and the service is great 👍 hats off to the chef for great combinations that compliment each other really well. And all at a fair price too. One of Crosbys Gems, but ssshhh don't tell everyone or we won't be able to get a table.

Waited 30+ minutes for a coffee and an hour for a chicken club sandwich. The food was fine. Service lost the ticket and a frustrating wait for a simple order (even after the error was raised). Bill should have been discounted at the very least.

A gem of a place! We enjoyed a great breakfast with perfect coffee in lovely surroundings. The menu is small but not at all limited.

Food was very nice but we left disappointed ! one of the dishes we ordered was the Tandoori cauliflower, it was tasty but so undercooked that most of it was inedible, when asked we pointed this out and where told the server would have a word with the chef ! nothing more till i was paying the bill and was asked if all was ok and i mentioned the cauliflower again, the reply was oh i will tell the chef for next time but was offered nothing else and was charged full price for mostly inedible food ...disappointing !

Popped in for Sunday Brunch. I chose from the specials board. Eggs on Roesti with bacon jam. Food was excellent.

On a night out we have been treated tremendously by Harry, Jack, Joe and Michael. They have been polite, friendly and professional. Highly recommend an evening here... Great food, value money and perfect atmosphere x

Nothing wrong with the food, it was just I asked for a meatball flatbread and got a chopped up vegan sausage. I pointed this out and got no explanation or apology. Husband enjoyed his tandoori flatbread. Won't return

Excellent local coffee shop and wine bar.

Visited last Sunday afternoon, great attentive service by the two young lads working, best hummus I’ve ever tasted will be back! :)

Visited today for breakfast and it was fantastic. Small menu but enough choices on there too not make it an issue. Food was excellent, portions were well sized, and the service was great. Cosy place with nice feel, not too loud, and enough space to chill out in.

Excellent breakfast. I had the full English, the sausage and black pudding were particularly great. Poached eggs also cooked spot on. Nice place to sit, too - can see us going back of an evening for a drink.

A really good venue for a baby shower, two adjoining rooms. The decor was very interesting. Afternoon tea was very good. The only drawback was it was a hot day and the rooms became very hot when all the guests arrived.

Oh wow the food is amazing in here, we had a selection of ‘tapas’ type dishes which were one of the best selection & taste along with value for money. 10/10!!

We 'found' this place after a wander around Crosby Beach, Sunday 12 Feb later afternoon. We loved the decor, the food, and even managed room for a bit of cake to share afterwards. The food was good, the staff are friendly, and the vibe is great. We'll be back

Great place for everything it offers. Breakfasts are so tasty and the cafe is really quaint. Everything is freshly cooked. When they turn into a bar it is also really nice, they have an upstairs which is full of cosy couches and chairs. Would recommend if your in Crosby to visit.

Very interesting place nice food and lovely staff.

We went for a 'spur of the moment' drink with visiting family on a busy night. The staff were welcoming and sorted us a table. We ended up get nachos and garlic bread as a sort of tapas. Really lovely time x

Love it here. One of my favourite places to visit ❤ The atmosphere is lovely,service is lovely and the food is even better. My little girl loves the chocolate pancakes and my son loves the 156 chicken burger!! Says it's the best he's ever tasted. My favourite is the chicken flatbread 😋. If you haven't been yet, its a must!! You won't be disappointed. Thank you for another lovely evening 😊. Xx

Unfortunately not a good experience! The chicken burger with fries (approx £10) came out uncooked! I only knew this when I cut the giant burger in half to see uncooked chicken! I was offered another but turned this down. Disappointingly, I was given a bill to pay for the two drinks I had! I was intending to pay for the drinks, accepting that these young guys have a business to run, but some restaurants will waiver bills when uncooked food is served! A word of advice to the restaurant - don't expect to be paid in these circumstances!

I’ve eaten here so many times and never left disappointed, the food is cooked to perfection, the staff are attentive and polite. The decor is beautiful. Very reasonably priced. 100% recommend giving this place a try.

Love it here, staff are lovely and friendly and they have some fab vegan options, the vegan cupcakes and vegan chicken flatbread are my faves. Come here with my friends or for a solo latte when I need to do some work. It’s decorated beautifully for the festive season which makes it feel all cosy 🥰🎄.

Had pancakes for my son which was good. ‘Half’ a flat bread that was ok. Some serious training needed for the staff. Poor customer service, no chat or urgency. I had the potato hash with eggs. Was literally just cooked potato and a bit of black pudding. Had to send back as eggs was over cooked. The next come and was salmonella on the plate with the chef saying he had nothing to fry the eggs with???? Plenty of better cafes in that area.

Lovely coffee with great service

Went this morning ordered 2x full English breakfast and sausage sandwich ,expressed not toasted for sandwich , when breakfast arrivied no bacon pointed out to staff ,oh OK was reply , and sausage sandwich was served on toasted bread !!! On nearly finishing breakfast 3 slim rashers of smoked streaky bacon was given on a side plate to us , no apology, Over priced for a small breakfast , no attention to detail , won't be going again ,simple , staff pleasant

"Crispy chicken" was microwave warmed wet cardboard texture. Peeled it off, dipped into garlic mayo dip, had brick in stomach for 2 hrs after. White wine and soda request became a fever tree soda add on for a little under £2 even though it was just a splash on large white wine. Waiter was on mobile and interacting with bar person. Didn't notice various attempts to engage.Too busy on phone When I commented crispy chicken was much less than crispy, no apology. Retreated no apology. Won't go again

Omg I absolutely loved this niche little place! This was an absolute dream to be here with the amazing aesthetic and nature vibes mixed with 1920s vibe. Amazing service and my partner absolutely loved the upstairs bar! Cozy vibes and a definite must for couples!!!

Just popped in for a coffee and cake, however I noticed that they had homemade lemonade,which was delicious. We both had different types of cake and were blown away by them. On paying the bill, I asked who baked them and it was a lady who was on the Bake Off, and I'm not surprised! There was also a photo of her with Mr Hollywood behind the bar. Will definitely be back.

Staff nice I only got a toasted teacake Not impressed it was burnt really burnt So basically no point for that. Cup of tea was nice

Disappointing for many reasons Basically the food I ordered has missed items, replaced sourdough with a white toast and a wrong charge, service is barely average.

Great menu with friendly & informative staff. Enjoyed our visit & lots of gluten free options..flatbreads fab & cakes. My husband tried the pale ale Field of Creams which he would highly recommend. Gluten free beer available too. Will return soon ☺️

Great food. Excellent Gluten Free menu with knowledgeable staff ready to offer alternatives if they are unsure Photographs of lamb and Feta with a sweet chilli jam and houmous which is to die for. The Korean chicken with BBQ sauce, coleslaw and the excellent houmous is also photographed The pale ale tastes of cream soda and is appropriately called Field of Creams and amazingly delicious

Really like this place. Service is excellent, the people are very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Have been for lunch and the food was very good too.

Nice little place, full breakfast was decent and just about right.

Surprised to see negative comments about breakfast as my daughters and myself just had full English breakfast today and it was excellent. The only possible fault was there was too much! Also first class coffee's, definitely would recommend.

The most cousy, bijou incredibly precious. We can a hot chocolate with contreau or amaretto or One Five Six is absolutely a must visit in College Lane. Don't forget to visit the local football Club Marines just accros the road. Kaite was amazing, this was my first visit and they were about to close. She offered me a gorgeous hot chocolat with Bayleys, I was literally freezen. The history behind comes from the owners who traveled around the Mediterranean and brought all the most amazing ideas to this little pittoresque town of Crosby. Emma and Ben were there and prepared me a super delicious hot chocolat on what is now my second visit. Parking outside is limited to 1 hour and is free. It is lovely street full of attractive shops

Excellent Place for After Noon Tea, Booked a table of six for Family Birthday, Lovely Staff, Always smiling & helpful. Cheese Board was amazing with Wine. They have a good Selection of Craft Beers Also......Cakes are a real treat, This place is a Credit to the Staff & Owner. Dog friendly also.

Booked a table for 6 people in advance and they squashed us onto a table for 4. It’s not very big but if you can’t accommodate a larger booking then don’t accept the booking!! Food was below average. Cooked breakfast was just ok but over priced for what it was. Poached eggs were hard boiled. Welsh rarebit was a flat bread with melted cheese on top. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have been here a few times and the food has always been lovely. This visit was really disappointing. We ordered English breakfasts and they were not even “just ok”. The poached eggs were all hard boiled, 6 of them! There was a teaspoon of beans. The potatoes weren’t fresh and the toast tasted like vinegar, which I assume was off the poached egg. When the member of staff collected our plates she commented on how we hadn’t ate much, so we told her why. Now, this is why I have given 1 star. At that point, it would have been nice for the bill to be discounted, or to even be offered another round of coffee on the house. For that reason, I wouldn’t return again. I will say the service is absolutely fantastic and our server was so lovely and attentive. It’s just a shame the food wasn’t worth the price, and we weren’t offered any discount or some more drinks.
