I went out with my family and we had a lovely meal together, the staff were lovely and the beer garden was amazing with this weather. Matty and Paul are very friendly and helpful, definitely coming back.

Thanks Lucy for a great service and adhering to all our demands 😁, you have really made my day because you did a great job and my beautiful dogs birthday extremely happy.. We love coming here as a family been coming for some time now all the staff our amazing especially Paul time and time again he is just amazing. Super friendly & goes above and beyond for us everytime

Lovely food, arrived quickly (cheeseburger and hunters chicken baguette). Staff were friendly and helpful. Only bad point was trying to order online, the sandwiches didn't show on the online menu. Everything else was great. Loved the xmas decorations.

Tia was very friendly and attentive and we were served very promptly. She also lavished attention on our dog, Monty, who loved his chicken dinner.

Great food with great service in a lovely clean environment

From start to finish the service we got was excellent at The Bootle Arms. The food was excellent and piping hot when it was served. Also the desserts ordered were good. The staff couldn't have done more for us.

Food was really nice, fresh, hot and well cooked. The wait wasn’t too long, and the service was good too considering there only seemed to be 2 staff members working! All around a good night, would definitely recommend/come back soon!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch,food was really good.we were met by friendly and attentive staff.Lyndsey and Hannah were great host,informed us of what was on for the Christmas Holidays.we booked a table for the Breakfast with the Ginch,and also Breakfast with Santa really looking forward to attending both events.

We have been too this pub on quite a few occasions, and never been disappointed with the service, meals and prices, this is why I booked for a party of 14, last night for my daughter's birthday 🎂, the seating area was great. The service from the staff was outstanding 👏 , our meals were served all together, and was very enjoyable, only to things wrong, steak wasn't medium rare, and salad served on one meal that we had asked not to be given, but other than that no complains. Thank you to all the staff for a most enjoyable evening 😊 xx

Food took a dip for many months , but has now bounced back to being really good. Service can be a little slow when busy.

The Harry Potter event was amazing. My children were mesmerised. Hannah who did the potions with the children was great. Food was lovely and the pub was beautiful decorated.

Terrible shocking service sttod at the bar one person serving whilst three members of staff are talking. Food was shocking half the tables was cold after waiting 45 mins as well two plates had to be refunded cos it was inedible.

Sophie was very helpful when dealing with our orders as there was a large group. Thank you.

Came for lunch. The hunters melt was tasty and too big, couldn’t finish it all. Served by the lovely Hannah, always so friendly and chatty.

We attended the Harry Potter evening. Hannah & Sophie were fantastic with the children making it an extra special experience. The food was gorgeous and the service was fantastic. We would definitely return.

We found it really easy to make a booking via the automated phone booking system, When we arrived we were greeted strait away and shown to our table. The girls were very welcoming and got our drinks really quickly. We used the QR code to order food and it came really quick. The food was amazing and left us wanting more. We haven’t been here before. I requested a place by the window which we got. Food was lovely and plenty of it. The staff were easy going and happy for us to go off menu and combine two meals. Lovely wine and the best thing about our visit was Lucy our lovely polite and welcoming server! We were a little bit chilly, but we will be back!

Visited Tuesday night this is our new local was busy lovely atmosphere must say bar staff Lyndsey was on point. Service with smile and gave us a good laugh. Best pint we’ve had in a long time will definitely be back

It was a incredibly enjoyable evening to which the service was impeccable furthermore due to the great staff such as Chef Danny, Sophie and Lyndsey. Additionally, they provided well cared for services regarding the food to the waitressing, I would definitely recommend.

I was recommended this place by a work colleague and I wasn’t disappointed!! It is a gorgeous little country like pub. Having moved back home from Cirencester, it is as good as any Cotswold country pub but more welcoming. It is so cozy and peaceful, with a relaxed atmosphere. The Staff Lindsey and Paul were lovely, a credit to the pub, really helpful and went out of their way for us. It is also dog friendly so an added bonus! Now for the food…I had the Fish, chips and peas which was probably the best I’ve had since I have been back. The fish was just right, a big chunk of fish lightly battered, the batter was lovely and crispy. My 2 boys went for the steak and the cowboy burger and both gave the thumbs up. The steak was medium rare and cooked perfectly, so compliments to Amy the chef! A generous portion size and really good value for money, we will definitely be back. Thanks guys 👍

The positives - staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was nice although there was a delay in food being served which we were advised about upon arrival. However, as a previous guest (number of years ago) to your establishment I was quite shocked with a few of the changes. There was no longer any table service which caused congestion and some chaos at the small bar area, the tables were grubby and dirty and overall the place needed some major TLC. We also came with my mother in law who uses a stick to be walk due to being a pensioner and also suffering a stroke and we were placed upstairs which I thought was rather inconsiderate and insensitive especially as there is no lift or aided stairwell…..unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending any time soon.

Lovely food and service with light lunch options and special dog menu for our pooch.

The lady waiting on was very polite and professional. The only thing that let the visit down was the food. Fish was overcooked and dry with lots of excess oil. The chicken kebab was ok, bread could have been fresher and not chewy. Mixed grill again was okay, sausages weren’t fresh. Waitress was lovely and offered us all free dessert. 30% voucher was great incentive to use as would have been more disappointed if paid full price. Location of pub is nice. Not sure if we would visit again, maybe for drinks only.

We went for a family meal for my husbands 80th birthday. It is always lovely when we go to The Bootle Arms they are very welcoming, good food, friendly staff and good prices.

First visit on Sunday booked in advance to try out the Sunday roast, it did not disappoint. Easy parking, seated quickly, option to order at the table or at the bar. Wasn’t easy to order on app so ordered at the bar, staff lovely and Lyndsey and Sophie were especially helpful and friendly. Food was served hot, huge portions on the large roasts really enjoyed by both of us. Fudge cake was also amazing. Overall nothing to complain about lovely experience and we plan to go back for food again and try out a quiz night. Atmosphere marked as a 4 star because although nice and friendly it was just a Sunday afternoon meal.

Wow such a lovely place with a very fresh and friendly atmosphere too, we where strangers here but never felt like we where the staff are so lovely and friendly and nothing is too much. We will be making this our go to in the future if you have not been yet make sure you do. I cannot recommend this place any higher than amazing. Thank you for making us feel like this we will ge back.

We arrived for my dad's birthday meal. We were due to sit inside but as the weather was so nice, the restaurant staff arranged a large table (10) to sit outside really quickly. We then decided to have desert inside as the weather changed, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Food was great, service was excellent, can't wait to go back.

We had a brilliant experience. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. The food is gorgeous. Two of our children are neurodiverse and both of them loved the food- which is a total win. The portions are huge, my husband got a mega mix grill and wow, he couldn’t even finish it. We will definitely be coming again.

Booked for large group on the morning of visit and notified it was for daughters birthday an hour before when checking we could take a cake. Arrived to birthday banners, confetti on the table and a birthday card! Service was great, food arrived quickly and lovely as always. Catered well for allergies too! Made he children feel special not just the birthday girl!

Lovely little pub, really cosy! The staff are superb, served by both Erin and Hilary and they couldn’t have made the visit better as they truly went above and beyond. Food was great and love the monday movies for the kids (although I watched it more)!
