1894 Bar & Bistro in Sefton

Great food and drink from evening visits, however the only issue I have is that whenever I visit at 9am for breakfast, the kitchen is always closed and doesn't open till after 9:30 - 10am. Even though it states 9am on everything else. If they could sort the kitchen side of things out it would be a great addition to college road, Crosby.

Tried the new menu in marine’s bistro , I have to say it was fantastic, I had the fish and chips and it was delicious my friend had the chicken hanging skewers and throughly enjoyed it , we can’t wait to go back

Strawberry Collins cocktails... highly recommend. Staff could not have been lovelier. Great jacket potato. Clean. Outdoor area too.

The worst roast dinner I’ve Ever had we sent all 6 back staff where lovely but didn’t have a clue what they where doing definitely would not go back.

Food was cold roast beef dinner and my partner ordered smoked salmon cream cheese sandwich it came on sliced white bread not bloomer as it said on menu will not be going back any time soon

Went with two friends just before Xmas. Pleasant, clean place, food and drink quickly served and very nice.

Great full English and fab coffee. C’mon - what’s not to love folks. Support a great local facility

Poor service, one meal missed and a round of drinks charged for but never bought. We had to wait another half an hour for them to make a portion of dirty fries they'd missed off and to top it all we had four burgers all of which were burnt. Very poor.

The food is really good but the service and some of the staff are woufel - we waited 35 minutes for our drink, the waiter brought menu with missing pages and we called to ask when breakfast stopped and they told us 1pm when we got the are 12 35/12:40 they were really rude with attitudes telling us they have stopped early after me explaining I was told 1pm on the phone - they need to stop giving false information and gain manners

Had breakfast three times in the last fortnight. Easily the best full English I've had and in such a lovely environment. The staff couldn't be more attentive, top marks !

Difficult to park anywhere especially carrying speakers.

It was fab had my Grandson and Grandaughters Birthday party today so yes it was a brilliant day.

All had a lovely breakfast and very reasonable prices shame there was no bagels available otherwise would have got 5 ⭐️

Sunday nights are really good and we all have a good time & laugh.

The upgrades to the function room and bar area following Marine's historic FA cup tie with Tottenham are beautiful. Much needed modernisation has made the new front end of Marine FCs home one of the nicest bars in the Waterloo / Crosby area.

Very disappointed. The one real ale pump has been taken out. All that is now left are the standard, easy to keep and serve, keg beers. This bar won't be seeing my wallet again. I'll stay longer in the pubs before the games now.
