Traditional pub, mostly regulars. We didn't eat here.

Visited here as I seen on Social Media they were now selling pizzas & they looked delicious so I had to try one. They did not disappoint. They also have some great drinks deals on different ones throughout the week. The staff are always so helpful & the place was spotless. I will definitely be back.

Called in to have a pint. Great friendly staff. Quiet locals. Great atmosphere.

Visited here with my husband over the weekend. Fabulous Jukebox with great selection of songs & genres. Staff amazing as always, can’t do enough for you.

Came here for a catch up with friends on the weekend and the atmosphere was great. We had the best time and staff were so attentive. Will be coming back over Christmas for more nights with friends.

havent been here for years. wow the gents not good. the pub was last painted by someone who was colour blind. Quite a few young people sitting down on phones with no drinks ?

Good atmosphere good service doesn't serve food

Had a great Sunday here with the boys. All the football on multiple screens then straight onto the new smartphone quiz. Great laugh & very interactive. Didn’t win but still had a good night. Will deffo be doing that quiz again.

Really love this place. Called up at 7.30 to get Man U game on as my husband couldn’t get to the game, they sorted it for us no problem whilst having another 2 games on keeping everyone happy. Definitely my favourite place in Crosby 🍺🍺🍺

Love the Birkey, staff are always great & place is always very clean. Neil & Sarah always go above & beyond for their customers. Some great deals on over the weekend including 2 for 1 on selected bottles.

Visit here quite often. Best pint of Guinness in Crosby. Staff are great too. Looking forward to getting back in there for the season restarting.

Came here Frifay night, drinking bottles of bulmers. The bar staff Informed me it's 2 for 1 throughout August. Absoloure great deal. Will definitely be back.

Went here with my boyfriend on Tuesday. We ended up staying for the quiz, great atmosphere & the chance to win £100 Staff were lovely, really helpful & some great drink deals too. Will definitely be back.

Went here with my husband & kids last week, lovley friendly staff, who were extremely helpful. Lots of selection of drinks. Place was very clean tidy with a great atmosphere.

We hired the Birkey for 50th party, the room was free to hire for over 60 guests and it would comfortably hold 100 guests, Sarah and her team were fantastic leading up to the party, they even helped set up the room with balloons/banners etc. We were allowed to bring our own food which not many places in Crosby allow you to do. We hired a singer but there is a jukebox if needed. There was adequate space for everyone to dance and the midnight bar went down well! All the guests said the venue was fantastic, if you are looking for a Crosby venue for a party I’d definitely recommend the Birkey.

Visited here with my husband. The staff were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Place was spotless & some good deals on the drinks. We even had a game of connect 4.

Good quality, clean, lively local boozer (I am not local here). Live sport, cold beer, probably more but only stayed for the football. World needs more of these, economics dictates otherwise, sadly.

Came in last night (Sunday 15th) to a great atmosphere with the football on. Staff was great, especially Jack who was friendly and very attentive. Only second time here but I loved it, as arnie says, I'll be back ! Fab night out.

Fantastic part of the community, the staff are really friendly. During the week you’ll see many regular faces, then the weekend brings the younger crowd who seem to love the place just as much. Great for football whether your red or blue… Happy hour Mon & Tues between 12-7 which is bringing decent crowd in on quiet days. Keep up the great work Neil, Sarah & Birkey Team 👍

Another great weekend with welcoming friendly staff who are always happy to help. Best pub for miles around with a great atmosphere, also happy hour till 7pm on Mondays and Tuesdays just make it better. Love this place.

Came here on Monday in January and the happy hour deal for £2.50 a pint is great value for money, especially in Crosby! Good atmosphere and lots of tellys for me and the lads to watch the footy. Will be coming back again 👍

Lovely friendly local; proper boozer. Place is spotless & the staff can’t do enough for you. They even have games available to play with a pint. Guinness was 10/10

No atmosphere, totally ruined the pub with its new update. I have been informed that this update is years old. However not a place for a quiet drink it is more like a poor nightclub. Unfriendly place and no longer a friendly local as I remember.

This has been my local on and off for a good few years. Staff are always jovial and welcoming. Lots of screens for sport and a fantastic jukebox. Beer garden is lovely and spacious too

First time in the Birkey. Tuesday night and had a really warm welcome from staff. Served quickly and a great selection of beers available. Staff were attentive and kind. Pub is clean. Manager and assistant were so welcoming. Quiz was on and regulars were great....

Went to the pub with some friends for drinks and the atmosphere was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful and they had my fave shots on offer. Will definitely be coming back for more nights with friends again.

Came during summer with my wife and didn't have the best experience in terms of service, however, we decided to give it another go as we believed it may have been a one off... Fast forward to our most recent visit, same woman who i believe to be the manageress was working. It took 8 minutes for her to put her phone down and realise customers were waiting. There was another employee at the end of the bar as well who did not have a welcoming attitude. Can see why its deserted majority of the time. Needs a good clean and staff need a lesson in customer service.

Visited the pub on Monday with my Boyfriend & daughter, it was happy hour so only £2.50 for a pint which was a nice surprise. They also had games to keep My daughter entertained, brilliant & cheap afternoon out after our walk on the beach. Will definitely be back.

I went in on Tuesday for a drink; got chatting to Sarah & Jordan at the bar, & ended up staying for the quiz & even won a bottle of wine. Brilliant night will definitely be back again for the quiz.

I visited the Birkey for the Grand National on Saturday and although it was busy I still got an excellent service. Jordan in particular was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

Came in to watch the racing and had great service from Ben. Always visit here when in Crosby to watch the match as there are TVs everywhere and great atmosphere, as well as great drinks and service.

Been visiting this pub for 20 years but never again - atrocious behaviour by clipboard staff. We were watching football along with all the other customers in pub. Liverpool v Arsenal that went to a penalty shoot out....despite strong appeals from customers the staff switched...

Who on earth turns ths TVs off during a penalty shootout?? New 10pm curfew to enforce, but they turned everything off with 20 mins to spare! Spiteful. I'm at home writing this review before 10pm, so they definitely had the 5 mins capable of finishing...
