Love this pub. Came in for a few pints after work, was welcomed by the staff on shift, was a good atmosphere after Aintree’s national day. We didn’t eat on this visit but will do next time for sure!! Thanks to the staff Leighanne, Dan and Jordan

Lovely local pub with a gorgeous outdoor seating area. Should be lovely in the summer. Food was quick and tasty. Server's were really helpful and lovely. Also very welcoming to mu 2 year old who is loud and disruptive! Prices very reasonable. We will be back for sure.

We were greeted as soon as we entered the premises, Leighanne served us and our food came out in a matter of minutes, piping hot and delicious.

We were booked in 11:30 for an 18th birthday and told to be out by 1pm. We are still waiting for our food at 12:40. The rest of our table ordered at 12:10 and has finished their food before ours has arrived. We were told it was being plated up and yet 15 minutes passed and still waiting. Horrific service and blatant lies. Will not be coming back here again.

This was horrendous the staff done nothing but complain about the kids constantly moaning that they were being too load totally spoilt the night as we were there for someone’s birthday I’ll never go back,yer you did ask a number of times and we were approached by a number of your staff the children we at the top end of the pub out of everyone’s way and they are all under 5 they were doing no harm there was only our party in that area so there was no other hot food or drinks around,I have been there before and there have been quite a few other children also playing,they kids being kids because we had to constantly shout at them it totally ruined our evening and you and ur staff complained about our children when there was a lady and a gentlemen sat inside eating with a dog but I’ll garentee nothing was said to those,were I understand kids can be a little over enthusiastic when together at the end of the day there just kids

The staff were rude! Manager was even worse! Couldn’t make any of the cocktails we asked for and food was as awful. Staff were unperfessional!!

This place is horrible they have flies roaming the place the workers are cheeky rats treated me like I was not even there they are horrible this place should be shut down the way they treated me and my family it was horrible

Came in for dinner after a work meeting and had something quick to eat. I got a southern fries chicken wrap and chips. It was lovely and hot. The place was nice and clean. It was really busy and the staff was rushed off their feet but they still kept on top if everything. Thank you guys.

It was OK but chips were the cheapest sticks ... however its understandable for the cost of running such a place with the cost of things plus wages I suppose its a well done to the management and staff for keeping prices down, but I'd rather have real potato chips even if it means paying extra ....

Absolutely awful service, got the order very wrong, two dishes missing and the curry was absolutely vile! The chef then appeared and said, “I thought it looked funny when I served it but we don’t touch it!” It’s all frozen food! 😫🤮🤢

Visited The Netherton this morning for breakfast with my family and what a great experience it was Lovely welcome as we arrived and a great service by all the staff, breakfast was hot and delicious and served to us in a timely manner. We used to go to Bakers Dozen, but have sometimes had issues in a morning where it says its open and then its not. So, we decided to give the Netherton a go and this is the one we go to every time now! Lovely staff, lovely food!

Please avoid if you have a modicum of self respect. Food here is all frozen/boil in a bag. If this is the top ten restaurant in Liverpool then I’d hate to see the worst. No soap in the loo, toilet seat hanging off. It makes Wetherspoons look like the Ritz

We turned up without a prior booking during Christmas party season. We were informed that 2 staff called in sick. There would be a long wait. But it was so worth it. The food was hot and tasty, and to be honest we didn't have to wait long once our order was in. Steve and Julie were friendly and very apologetic for our wait. Not their fault. Staff go sick at short notice. We travel from RHYL to take a family member for lunch. We've been several times and always had good hot tasty food. Great value for money. Would defo recommend. Only negative... toilets are in need of refurb, some out of order.

Had our Christmas team meal here today all 17 of us, received excellent service from all staff especially Julie who went above and beyond for us, thank you so much for the crackers that was a lovely touch too. Food was fab all served hot and correct orders, excellent value for money with festive menu, we will see you again soon definitely recommend 👍

Highly recommended for a cracking breakfast

Wow... Waited so long for mains to arrive had to ask where they were. When they arrived the gravy burger was lovely and the kids roasts where huge but the festive burger looked like it had seen better days. We then waited for our desserts but service was so shocking and the wait time too long for two little ones we walked out. Used to be a lovely place with staff who cared. We were just ignored beginning to end with a few other people commenting the same Might of been a bad night but we won't be back anytime soon.

Service was amazing can't fault Steve and the lady that served us. But food OMG swimming in grease. It's sickening. Bacon still alive. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast unless you ask for well done on everything without the grease.

I visited yesterday with my friends, it was lovely to see the Christmas decorations and Christmas menu. We tried the new Xmas Holiday burger which was brilliant! Credit to the chefs, the waitress, Leanne, mentioned that the chefs were called Kathy, Ryan and Anthony, they did a great job with the food and presentation I will definitely be back before Christmas to enjoy the festive food. It’s such a shame they’re fully booked for Christmas Day as I’m sure that’ll be a great day!

Came in for some lunch yesterday, it wasn’t too busy for a Saturday afternoon but I had a roast dinner off the new Xmas menu. It was one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had. It was served by a lovely girl named Leigh-Anne who couldn’t have done more for us. The atmosphere in the pub was lovely and the staff were more than happy to help when needed. Our desserts were made promptly and we had a great time trying the new Xmas cocktails. We were a table of 8, and we’re well looked after even considering they had a lot of staff absence. 10/10 would recommend!

Xmas has arrived at the nethy! Been coming here for a while and really enjoyed seeing the Christmas decorations up this week, looking great! Enjoyed the Friday burgers BOGOFF deals with my partner, what a bargain! The staff are more than happy to help with any questions and queries that we had. I would recommend 10/10. Looking forward to coming back and trying the new Xmas menu which was mentioned to us by the nice barmaid Leanne (I think I spelt it wrong, it was a very long one). Sunday Roasts at the Nethy, you can’t beat them! Had some wonderful service from the lovely Bethany, she was great at making sure we had everything we needed and even convinced us to order a cheeky chocolate cake for afters! We enjoyed the Super special Veggie and Beef roast and can’t wait to come back again next week! 10/10

Been many times. Great place, good staff, food reasonable. Toilets were gross. Urinals were blocked. Sinks were blocked. Someone had used one of the cubicles. Don't know if they hadn't flushed it, but it was full of things I can't describe.

The food was amazing, fresh, hot and tasty. The staff were so lovely and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us, we had booked a table of 12 and it was a Saturday, which is a busy day, but they were still very good, with exceptional customer service. We try come on a Sunday with the dog halfway through her walk and get a drink or food outside out the way of everyone but everyone’s so friendly it’s a great little place been coming here for 15 years or so wether it’s football, family meal, quick drink or date night it’s just a good place reasonably priced x

Popped in before shopping to have some breakfast. Service was amazing!! Breakfast came out within minutes and was hot and well presented. Staff were lovely and friendly. I ordered myself the special breakfast. Just the right size and my son had the breakfast waffles. So much choice. Would 100% be back again for the normal menu. Well done guys

Just been with 4 friends we picked off the big grill menu 10.00 on a Wednesday, we were amazed the amount of food, was delicious, it was great value for money...the staff were amazing couldn't do enough. We will be returning

Strange review this could possibly read but, my son and daughter in law had lunch off which they said was lovely at this pub. They left and didn't realise until they had got back home (100 yes 100 miles later) my son had left his phone (nightmare). Some very honest and kind person not sure who had handed it in. So thank you. Even thou it was a 5 hour round trip the phone was returned to its rightful Owner
