Really good prices, staff and service is great. Lovely family atmosphere.

We visited for breakfast with the Easter bunny this morning, service & food was fantastic. Very well organised & all the children had a fabulous time! Will be returning again for sure.

Fantastic please to spend as a family 5 star service throughout highly recomend everyone to come here. All food was fresh and tasty. Fully enjoyable. Deffo coming back.

Didn't have half the food we wanted. But other than that, great service. Food we got was very nice. Will definitely go there again. Hopefully they have the full menu available though 😉

Food ok ,but the meat in this case chicken was very tough and rubbery we were disappointed.

Disappointed that only one till takes your food order and the server has to get the drinks too so had to wait a while to place an order. 🙄

Did Sunday lunch with a party of 7. Food was great, price was great, service was great. Everybody enjoyed their lunch and the drinks that went with it.

First ever time visiting this pub. It was a passing by and ended up coming in and boy we were not disappointed. The pub was busy with people, all laughing and enjoying themselves which made a great atmosphere. The staff were fabulous, very attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious, it was served quickly and was hot, a great price. There was a good selection on the food menu and drinks menu. Our table was cleared quickly after courses. I would definitely recommend Only one complaint, people eating have to listen to other people using foul language I live in Derbyshire but will definitely visit again.

Venimos la mayoría de los días para comer algo y beber, disfrutamos de nuestras visitas a nuestro local. El pub y la comida son geniales, pero tiende a ser un poco caro para algunas bebidas. Sería genial hacer un esquema de fidelidad para los visitantes habituales, somos conscientes de los descuentos deportivos pero no siempre disponibles cuando visitamos.

Visitamos cada fin de semana con nuestros hijos y lo pasamos muy bien, nos encanta jugar al billar con nuestros hijos. El personal y los gerentes son siempre acogedores. La comida es buena relación calidad-precio. ¡Sigue así!

Good pub grub, great beer selection!

Food is amazing! Staff go above and beyond! Trisha especially.. had our 5week old baby crying while we were eating. I stood up to rock her pram , trisha came over and told me to sit down and eat. She then took the pram an walked the baby round so I could eat!! All the staff are brilliant every time we come in! Can't praise them enough!

Ate at the Netherton today , ordered a sharer around 13 30 at the bar , dident recieve any food for 40 mins , we asked a waitress why the long wait and she checked and told us the order had been taken and paid for at the bar but not sent to the kitchen , after another 10 min wait we finally got our food , even though the waitress apologised for there mistake it would have been a nice gesture for a offer of a free drink or pudding having waited an hour for our food

4 of us had lovely meals,I went safe with gammon and chips,the only negative was there weren't alot of peas( I no)on the plate,£20/30 with drinks

Pleasant staff ,food didn't take long and was absolutely worth the few pounds spent as not expensive atall would recommend definitely will be coming back

Food is ok but ordering on the app is a problem. If you order at the bar, that seems to be the priority. After waiting 15 minutes for drinks I decided to ask at the bar. I was told food was about to come out and they would bring the drinks over. I was told by the next table to us they had been waiting 30 minutes for drinks. Looking at previous reviews it's an ongoing problem. I've informed Greene King the app is good, but if the staff aren't interested it doesn't matter how good it is. Disappointing blasé attitude by the staff, they can't be bothered.

This is an excellent pub with excellent staff that go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience

I have been visiting here all my life as I live local, I have noticed a decline over the last couple of months. Waited 25 mins for drink ordered on app before I had to go bar and was told she dosent look up at orders she only serves the bar. visited lastnight and the food was disgusting, I ordered the sizzler and was told by the waitress to be carefull the plate was hot which was far from the case the food was luke warm and the chicken was mushy with cold fries. My parter ordered the mixed grill the sausages were hard like they had been from the morning breakfast and the chicken was also mushy, onion rings unedible and the chips also cold. He has spent the morning visiting the toilet due to this meal. We have been frequent visitors to the nethy but have now decided to go elsewhere till the quality of food improves and also the service. This has been happening multiple times latley it's really gone downhill. Really hope you sort this out as it used to be our favourite pub but unfortunately this is not the case anymore.

Another fabulous meal at The Nethy, staff and management make you feel so welcome, always so polite and friendly. Myself and my wife visited this morning for our breakfast. Jack made us feel very welcome. The size of the meal for the price is amazing. We will visit again to try some other dishes off the menu.

We visited here today for our Sunday lunch. The service we received from Beth was amzing, she made us feel welcome from start to finish. The roast dinner deal is amazing value for money. We will be back.

As a family of 4 we all got the Epic Dishes offer and drinks for just over £30. We were amazed! We were seated in a quiet area, our food came out quickly and was delicious. The staff were lovely and we had a nice night. Thank you!

Sunday lunch in the Netherton good value for money plenty on your plate comes out nice and hot I go there quite a lot for Sunday lunch the meals to the week are good plenty on the menu to choose from see a lot of families go near with the children the children's menu is very good recommend it to anybody

Had a lovely meal. The restaurant was still decorated for Christmas it was a beautiful setting.

Not a great experience. Music awful and far too loud. The fish n chips was average at best although it is reasonably priced. The menu doesn't state which type of fish it is but it's not cod. So what you save on the food is immediately lost on the drinks. A pint of Madri cost me £5-90. Even in the city centre you can get the same lager for £3. Absolute rip off, no need for it. Won't be going back.

My friend and I meet up for lunch about 3 or 4 times a year and this is usually where we go. This time was extremely disappointing, though. For 1pm on a weekday afternoon, the place was surprisingly empty and very quiet. The food here has been consistently good in the past, with decent sized portions but was a total let down on this occasion. The lasagne was very sloppy and very, very, greasy. The meat was of very low quality and contained a lot of gristle. It was so disgusting that I left a fair amount. Usually, a member of staff visits the table during your meal to see if everything is ok. This time, this did not happen. When the dishes were collected, we were then asked if everything was ok. I said about the lasagne being dreadful and pointed out the gristle I'd left at the side. I was told that I should've said something earlier. I don't even recall an apology. Usually, I'd be asked if I wanted something else instead, but that didn't happen either. I decided to try a lovely sounding and looking dessert. Now, I know that you don't usually get huge portions, but over £5 for a tiny sliver?! It also tasted decidedly underwhelming. As I said, this was our usual haunt for our lunch meets, but if the next time is as bad as this time, we'll be looking for somewhere new.

Tracey is the loveliest person ever so friendly and attentive she is a credit to your pub. I would definitely come back if only for Tracey !

Not very happy with the Sunday dinner for £10 didn't look anything like pictures small slice of beef 5 little roast potatoes and not even a spoon full of mash potatoe didn't think it was worth the money

Nice enough place. Typical Hungry Horse. Loads to choose from and meals are simple and tasty. This place needs a bit of TLC but it's clean and staff are friendly

We booked the Netherton at last minute after being let down by somewhere else 17 people accommodated and the food was excellent and the service by julie and her team was brilliant.all our parties will be at the Netherton from now on

Used to go the netherton drinking when I was younger and first time I’ve been with my family and I’m not one to complain ever but besides the starters the food was shocking my girlfriend had the smothered steak which was chewy and the chips where hard the peas where hard and the onion rings where cold and mine was the quadzilla burger the chicken pieces on it where dry the chips where also cold we left the food on the table barely eaten and the staff didn’t even come over to check if everything was ok and we booked a table on line and got there and someone was sitting on our table just a major let down from start to finish such a nice looking boozer only one of the lads who brought our food out made an effort major let down

Came in as had Tesco Vouchers, tried the new lunch menu which was lovely. Jordan and Danny where very helpful. Recommend the lamb Kofta

Called in with the family for lunch on way to Liverpool. Great value food and very friendly staff. Served by Jordan who couldn’t have been more friendly, really helpful with our choices and a pleasure to be served by. A credit to the pub.

Arrived on a Friday afternoon with my 89 year old dad , my 2 great neices aged 2&4. We found a seat only to be told that the area was reserved although no sign to state this. We happily moved to another part of the pub, decided what we wanted to eat and was then asked to move again due to a large party of teachers arriving . This was unacceptable as again there were no reservations signs in place. Needless to say that’s the last time I will be frequenting this pub. Thanks for your reply but just so you are aware there were no chairs blocking the areas , they only put them up when we were asked to move .

Excellent service our server was Beth she is very nice and polite nothing is to much trouble. Our chef was Ryan everything cooked to perfection. Lovely warm atmosphere very welcoming and prices to suit everyone's budget. Excellent selection for children aswell I advise booking before attending as I always do as they get very busy especially on a Sunday for the roasts. There is also a vegetarian option on the Sunday roasts.
