The nicest food in the area, duck spring rolls were amazing. Very large portions the satay mixed meat ricebox was more than enough for 3 people. Huge portions and piping hot when delivered. Gonna be our new weekly takeaway now

Reunion lunch for old pals. Charming thoughtful and kind staff.Pleasant environment. Good standard of basic English Sunday lunch choices , more than adequate portions and complimentary pudding Black Forest Gataux inlieu of under cooled vegetable.
Decent house merlot and coffee.
Thankyou
Take away fish and chips. Food always good, best chippy but it's just so slow everytime. Typically waiting 20-30mins minimum for a relatively small fish and chip order
Been going here for past 5 years on our trips from Canada for the Lamb Shank dinner . Always so tender and tasty. Would highly recommend.. reserve a table.. Sticky Toffee pudding with custard is also great.
Absolutely classic this place, food delicious and Salvator is so lovely and attentive. Nothing faffy on the menu, just brilliant traditional food. Went for a lovely late lunch. There was 4 of us.
Mussels in garlic sauce and prawn n cocktail went down a treat. All steaks cooked to perfection and birthday girl had her usual chicken from there. Sides of chips and mixed vegπ₯° I tasted mums tirimasu which was delicious and i dont have a sweet tooth. This was followed by Salvator making my mum an Irish coffee at the table.
Whole experience was lovely. Peaceful, nice atmosphere and great service. Thank you
Omg where do I even start?! I came to Harryβs Bar for their sunset session with a few friends and honestlyβ¦ we were blown away. The vibe was absolutely unreal the music, the food, the energy everything was on point. We ended up dancing all night, didnβt want it to end!
Huge shoutout to Liv, Grace, and Mikey who looked after us the whole night absolute legends. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they made us feel so welcome and kept the good times flowing.
Canβt recommend it enough. If youβre thinking about going DO IT. Weβre already booking in for the next one!
We went and there were six of us, and from the minute we actually sat down to leaving the restaurant, we were made to think that nothing was too much trouble - I canβt praise this enough -
We started December in style with a fantastic Festive Afternoon Tea at The Grand Southport.
The food was sensational, hand made by Callum King and his team. Because everything is freshly baked and prepared, they need at least 24 hours notice for bookings.
You can see why; thereβs an extraordinary level of detail in each individual item.
What a wonderful way to eat with family, friends or loved ones.
Take your time as you delve into a treasure trove of treats; itβs a tough choice to work out where to start first!
The hand made fruit scones were superb, served with pots of Cornish clotted cream and Hawkshead strawberry preserve (weβll let you decide which one should go on firstβ¦)
There is a range of tastes and textures with the savoury items, which include: roast turkey with cranberry sauce; devilled egg mayonnaise and chives; cured salmon, caper berry and watercress tarts; cream cheese, mint and cucumber sandwiches; cranberry and orange sausage rolls; and parsnip soup.
Real festive flavours and some big crowd pleasers.
Make sure you leave room, because desserts are coming, and you wonβt want to miss these.
They include: lemon and blueberry posset; chocolate and pistachio delice; lemon and poppy seed cake; almond slice; and mince pie.
Warming pots of tea are a great addition, or you can upgrade to mulled wine or Champagne.
Itβs all enjoyed in the beautiful setting of The Grand on Lord Street, a stunning 101 year old art deco landmark building which takes you back to the glamour of the roaring 1920s after the venueβs Β£5 million transformation.
Festive Afternoon Tea is an elegant, indulgent, delicious way to enjoy the Christmas season in a unique dining experience.
We ordered the Suay platter, black pepper ribs, moo ping, and salt and pepper chips. Every portion was extremely smallβmore like kidsβ sizesβand the quality was shockingly poor. The platter came with just one tiny piece of each item, and the βribsβ consisted of a single one-inch rib. The salad looked like scraps of leftover carrots after peeling. The ribs were tough and tasted old, and the chicken skewer had an odd flavor and was just one small stick. This experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly disgusting. We will never order from or visit this place again.
Brilliant evening as always. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great.ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Excellent food & service
Great atmosphere π
I had the ravioli off the special menu and didnβt disappoint
As always we ordered garlic bread to start a plain & a tomato one which was so good. Canβt buy this from a shop and recommend it.
Went to this restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch which was fabulous. Crispy toast potatoes, mash, cabbage and carrot and turnip all lovely, chicken moist, beef tender good flavour and bellypork to die for. Sticky toffee pudding for desert with lashings of sauce and ice cream. Excellent service always with a smile . Thank you to everybody who made it an enjoyable lunch especially the chef.π
