Amazing afternoon tea in the Gorgeous brasserie. Daviua was amazing and looked after us wonderfully. Really tasty food and the cakes and scones were out of this world. Especially the lollipop!

Beautiful restaurant with good choice of top quality food and drink at reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service from Heather, Lucy and the Red headed maitre d'. Lovely ambience, greatly enhanced by the excellent piano man. Would certainly recommend.

This review is on behalf of my Mum and Dad......we went for afternoon tea, it was our first visit to The Grand and we were warmly greeted by a really lovely lady called Davia. She was extremely helpful and efficient and attended to us throughout the time we were there. The afternoon tea was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it but the experience was completed by this attentive and friendly young lady. Thank you Daiva!! Margaret and John

Visited Chloe's Bar at the Grand Brasserie in Southport on a sunny Saturday night. The venue is superb with lots of atmosphere and a good crowd. Excellent live singer and the service from Heather was super. Heather is so enthusiastic and friendly, looked after us and told us all about the new Harrys Bar and the soon to open Skybar. It was a great night and we will definitely be back to visit the Skybar once it's opened.

Mum and I visited The Grand yesterday for afternoon tea as a late Mother's Day celebration. What a wonderful experience! The food was scrumptious. We could not fault the service which was exemplary, solely down to the lovely Michael who looked after us so well. His customer service skills were exceptional. Friendly, professional and welcoming. I can't thank him enough for making my Mum's visit so memorable.

Excellent!! From the moment I emailed to book for an afternoon tea for my daughter’s hen party I received five star service . Grace was absolutely amazing making sure that all our needs were catered for ( despite me having to change things several times !🥴) On the day , the service , food and attention to detail were second to none . We took my sister in law here for afternoon tea for her birthday today We all agreed that it was one off the best we had had ,the was so much there we had to bring some home . We came as a family for mother's day. From start to finish it was great. Our server Liv was so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great. Cocktails amazing! Definitely be back...as always.

Thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea, a great variety with really fresh sandwiches. Staff were very attentive, especially Grace but there seemed to be quite a delay in between requests even though the restaurant seemed to be sufficiently staffed. It’s also strange that so many people can walk by the serving station not staffed with so much food waiting to be collected and served?

Really nice venue, grand as the name suggests. Lovely. However, when we sat down they didn't give us any food menus. When we asked, we got given one menu for the table to share in a plastic stand, which didn't match the 'grand' vibe. The menu was also different as the one linked on the online booking page. No vegan or vegetarian food. They had a halloumi wrap, but it came with pesto, making it not vegetarian. They also had no wraps, so it was pitta instead. Would think in 2024 a restaurant would have at least one decent veggie option. Service was very good and friendly, but slow. We asked for a dessert menu, but no one ever came to take our order, so we just paid at the bar and left.

Beautiful setting and exceptional bottomless brunch experience. We were served by Grace who ensured our glasses were kept full. The food was freshly prepared to order and was delicious. Grace was brilliant she was so friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this bar/restaurant for bottomless brunch.

Didn't bother initially when this place opened, as wasn't getting great reviews for food or service. Decided to try 2 course lunch today, and so glad we did. Ended up dining from the A La Carte, food was excellent, as was the service. The setting itself is stunning. Opulent, luxurious and a real chilled vibe. I'd been here years ago when it was a casino and they've decorated in keeping with the buildings history. We were served by Coby, who was the perfect server, attentive without being too much, friendly yet professional . He was happy to give recommendations when asked as well Tibu the manager shared the service with Coby, didn't hold back from doing whatever needed doing, rather than letting his staff do it all. We drank cocktails, a bottle of Prosecco, a fair few Grey Goose and had a 3 course meal each for £160, which was worth it to us. Drunk & full. Who could ask for more ?! Also NO service charge on the bill, I prefer to add my own tip, so am happy when it's not forced upon me.

Ideal for a birthday celebration, get together , we went to celebrate friends birthday we had afternoon tea ,and it didn't disappoint , from the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a friendly smile shown to a table in the drinks area while awaiting other friends to arrive, then shown to our table for the afternoon , what a lovely room, everything was amazing , the food was fresh and very appetizing, the glass of bubbly went down well, the waiter who brought our drinks was exceptional (sorry I didn't get his name ) and the lovely lady who brought our food was so attentive , The whole experience was excellent would highly recommend

Very nice food and staff were very accommodation. We had lots of different staff members serving us so I think that got a little confusing with drinks. All round very nice ☺️ shall definitely be returning.

Visited today with the family to celebrate Mother’s Day a week early as away next week. Atmosphere and ambiance were excellent but it went downhill from there, service was adequate but food was mediocre at best and cold, having to ask for condiments and no mention of water to accompany the wine, meal etc. Definitely won’t be rushing back for food. Very disappointed.

Very pleasant first visit to the grand, Service very professional, afternoon tea excellent, food fresh and home made. Grace was very warm and friendly. Did get a little noisey once there were more people in there. Nice that we got to hear the piano player.

What an incredible place. Truly awesome, opulence and breathtaking beauty . It’s worth visiting to see this amazing transformation. It’s difficult to avoid tripping over your tongue such is the impact. Last night we had a fantastic dinner and were looked after by Grace and Edward. Nothing a problem the service was first class and we were made to feel very special . Attentive and interested without being over baring. A real credit to the business. The food was very good. An extensive range of choices. Everyone loved it. We had a range of dishes including special aged duck and a burger that was very generous in scale terms and tasted delicious. Give these guys a try and discover something that will be your very own special place. Well done everyone involved a truly great experience

Have visited a few times and it’s Absolutely amazing, brilliant staff, amazing atmosphere full with live music, it’s never a dull moment. Came in with some family for a birthday night out, all having cocktails, pornstar, strawberry daiquiri, old fashioned and they were delicious!! Prices are reasonable. Ended up ordering a few of the strawberry daiquiris because they were so delicious, so would definitely give them a go if you love your fruity drinks! Music was beautiful, we were in Chloe’s bar I believe, a lovely gentleman was playing piano with some jazz music, was really fitting with the 1930s art deco atmosphere, and it was lovely seeing the staff so well dressed too !very charming , all so lovely and polite and It overall compliments the place, fast paced and nothing was a hassle. Would recommend the grand to anybody visiting Southport or just for some entertainment. There’s entertainment on most nights from singers , bands , and much more. Thank you for a lovely visit:)

We visited and enjoyed the fixed price menu of 3 courses for £35. The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the service by Grace & Lucy was excellent, we will be returning soon.

Our charity Lifeboat Shop which runs an independent Lifeboat for Southport held their volunteers afternoon tea at the grand. We were served by Grace Emily and Kyra. They did a wonderful job of refilling our hot drinks often and were very attentive to us. The food was excellent so much so that we asked for doggie bags to take home the last of the cakes!

Booked a table in the Brasserie. Table service was by Emily. Very nice ambience and service. Two steaks ordered, rib eye and fillet. Both were absolutely perfect, cooked as requested and delicious. Can definitely recommend and will return when possible. Well done The Grand and Emily.
