Was allowed in by myself, but my friend wasn’t allowed in. Once I went to meet my friend suddenly I was as the course of the issue for the reason we was not allowed in. The horrible door staff ( a woman which I would more than gladly shame to the highest if I knew her name) would not allow my friend I , due to having his dads ashes in a billet necklace around his neck because she thought it was drugs after multiple attempts to prove it was not. Which she then preceded to “pretend hump” the air after mentioning this. Never have I ever come across something so disrespectful and disgusting in my life and never would I step foot near this place again due to the horrible bouncers. Horrible venue.
Love a good Greggs and this IS a good Greggs.
Great value, got a sausage roll, a stake bake and some pop. Cooked to perfection and tasty. Just the job.
I’ve been to the plough many times over the years and I have to say last night was the worst experience ever. They were not serving food only for bookings which fair enough if was busy but whilst we were there no bookings came in. We ordered some drinks whilst we looked where else to go for dinner. My moretti was warm and I over heard people around us and some staff talking about it. I went to the bar and asked the gentleman behind the bar I’m presuming the new owner if I could change my drink as it was warm and undrinkable. I was met with a very rude response and told I would have to pay for a different drink. Sadly to say we left and sadly to say we will not be back. Shame as was a lovely pub but all the staff and the new owner looked sad and miserable. He has not got the character to be in hospitality and needs to check his attitude when speaking to customers
What can I say . The youth of today are just lazy and rude. I went to the counter to order as I didn’t want to have to use the machines to place my order for reasons I’d rather not say as they have scan machines right across the counter . To be told straight away place your order on the machine when it would have taken the young girl seconds or may be a minuet yet she couldn’t be bothered so so lazy and then when I made the comment as to why there are scanners on the counter I was scowled at to them her her and her young work colleague mocking me under there breath for making my comment . There just to lazy n don’t want to do any thing these days . As mummy n daddy running around after them need teaching some manners and how to treat customers.
Won’t be going again .
Didn't enjoy the salt and pepper chips tonight, they were rather too salty. Felt like I was pouring a bottle of salt down my throat. Usually good but would say very poor tonight. Very well done too!!!
Shengs is our local Chinese takeaway. The food is gorgeous, the portion sizes are large and the staff are amazingly friendly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food after ordering it. The first time we visited this takeaway, we thought it was quite pricey but after we received our food, we realised that the prices are in fact very reasonable. Rice, chips or noodles are included in each dish and the portion sizes are huge. We are so lucky to have this takeaway on our doorstep.
Esta es siempre nuestra primera parada cuando visite Lancaster - la más cálida de las bienvenidas y una gran elección de cerveza 🍻 sirvió perfectamente!
