The best restaurants in Lancaster North West

Morecambe. Dreadful experience! We ordered our food over the speaker and the server yawned. We asked for salt and napkins and received neither. We were told to park up and wait, the car park was full although the restaurant was empty and there was no queue at the drive-thru, probably because everyone was also waiting for their orders. We waited over 15 minutes and when the food arrived it was cold. We didn't even receive straws for our drinks.

Ordered on the app and it didn’t let me check in: let the front counter worker know me he rightfully got his manager Simran: she was beyond useless, not accepting my mobile order and then telling me after I’d ordered on kiosk and tried to use my employee discount that it was after close and I couldn’t pay. Seriously disappointed with the management here, would warn anyone off who wishes for compotent service.

Didn't enjoy the salt and pepper chips tonight, they were rather too salty. Felt like I was pouring a bottle of salt down my throat. Usually good but would say very poor tonight. Very well done too!!!

Puedo estar aquí con mi nieta de 3 años. Le pedí una comida para niños, 4 nuggets veganos, unas 10 papas fritas y una pequeña cantidad de frijoles. 00 . ! ! Asqueroso. ! Luego tuve que pedir una bebida que no venía con comida, un pequeño cartón de jugo de manzana, y £ 2 extra. 00 . ! ! 8 libras en total, y la señora mayor detrás del mostrador, muy grosera. Shengs is our local Chinese takeaway. The food is gorgeous, the portion sizes are large and the staff are amazingly friendly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food after ordering it. The first time we visited this takeaway, we thought it was quite pricey but after we received our food, we realised that the prices are in fact very reasonable. Rice, chips or noodles are included in each dish and the portion sizes are huge. We are so lucky to have this takeaway on our doorstep.

Very rude young girls on the counter more interested in the boys they'd been with the night before than serving customers ...we will not be using this place again .

Great staff, great owner, good stock and atmosphere. Great for that round the corner stop for everyday essentials.

The Jailor's Barrel es un brillante pub de cerveza real en Market Street que ofrece una de las mejores gamas de cervezas de barril en Lancaster y es un pub que vale la pena visitar si te gustan las cervezas de barril, ya que las cervezas son simplemente excelentes. El pub en sí es una alegría para visitar y se ve muy acogedor. Tiene un interior magnífico con accesorios y características brillantes. Tiene paneles de madera y un interior de piedra vista - pared y en nuestra visita estaba bastante ocupado. Visitamos aquí temprano en la tarde en un día soleado brillante y tuvimos un par de pintas de cerveza de barril. Este pub es famoso por su barril y cervezas artesanales y cuando estuvimos aquí tuvimos cervezas IPA de la cervecería Lancaster que eran excelentes y a un precio razonable, especialmente para esta zona de Lancaster. Es un pub magnífico, especialmente si eres un verdadero bebedor de cerveza, ya que hay cerveza de barril son tan buenos como se pone y es un pub que vale la pena ir si estás por esta zona. Can't think of anything positive, sweet and sour chicken went to the dogs. Greasy oily chow mein and very slow delivery. Sweet and sour sauce was in an expresso cup. Avoid!

Kebab meat was dry with not much taste, wanted this with garlic mayo but not given that option. Ordered a large portion of chips and got a regular size. Cheesy chips were ok. The kebab and salad on Nann was a bit of a cop out, as half of the nann had meat, while the other side had all the salad.
