The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Lancaster North West

I came here with my family as I have been here previously with my wife. I brought my son and his girlfriend on the way home from Morecombe. We were advised when ordering food of the 45 minutes wait, which we were OK with, due to a nice sunny day outside. It became apparent the pub is to bog for the owner, 2 staff did not turn in, but instead of closing the kitchen they kept it open and it showed they we're out of their depth. You g girls bringing 1 plate at a time out to the garden, bit not knowing which table it was going too. People getting food way after we ordered. After 1hr 20 of waiting we went in for a refund, to be told your food is ready now. We declined and got a refund. A lovely pub in a great are, but poorly run, sort it out before you lose a lot more custom. It has lots of potential ranprpperly. We won't be returning anytime soon.

Not been in for years. What a shock, unkempt and in a poor state of decor, such a shame . 1 person working the bar, it felt like they had walked in off the street to pull pints. There are no words of encouragement to make this a positive review. Such a shame for what was a thriving pub.

Costa Coffee make the worst drinks on the planet *and* charge you for it. I've had a cappuccino and a mocha from them - both undrinkable. The coffee tasted like burnt dirt (probably worse than that though) and the chocolate syrup in the mocha (why not just using drinking chocolate powder?) was undescribly nasty. Please could we get Atkinsons coffee (or whatever it was before) back? Or just get anything else? And please replace the other Costa on campus as it's the only place open on Sundays during the University holidays at times if coffee republique isn't open. At the very least you should be paying people to drink that nasty stuff, not charging them! The food is okay. Miss the variety of options. Now I think the only option is vegan cheese and baked beans on a baked potato for me. Better than some places though so can't complain too much. It'd be nice if lunch was served until a bit later, I think you stop serving it at 1pm.

Absolutely Lovely food, well impressed!. We will most definitely be going here again. Plenty of food at very affordable prices. Lovely staff. Thank you to all that work there.

Was allowed in by myself, but my friend wasn’t allowed in. Once I went to meet my friend suddenly I was as the course of the issue for the reason we was not allowed in. The horrible door staff ( a woman which I would more than gladly shame to the highest if I knew her name) would not allow my friend I , due to having his dads ashes in a billet necklace around his neck because she thought it was drugs after multiple attempts to prove it was not. Which she then preceded to “pretend hump” the air after mentioning this. Never have I ever come across something so disrespectful and disgusting in my life and never would I step foot near this place again due to the horrible bouncers. Horrible venue.

I sat and waited for my food and it has not arrived. I paid over £13. I have not received any food.

There was a bar person called Jason who was really friendly with us, as we were not from the area. He was checking ID and turning away anyone who was unsuitable to enter the premeis. We were made to feel so welcome even though we only wanted a drink, it was quite late in the evening and the staff were busy cleaning everything down ready for the morning shift, but still had time to be sociable. Cannot fault this establishment it is one of the best wetherspoons have visited, apart from the trek to the toilets.

Did a little shopping in Booths then went to an appointment in Carnforth. Came back then did a large shop, again in Booths. Looked for a machine to pay for additional parking, there wasn't one. After an extended eye test it took around 20 mins for my eyes to become clear again enabling me to drive again safely. Got a £100 FINE for being 30 minutes too late, most of that time was queueing in shop or walking around the car park looking for ways to pay. A complete rip off. Would have been fined less for parking on the main traffic traffic lights in Carnforth. This robbery should be made illegal and not be agreed upon by Booths Management! I will never shop in Booths again!!

After visiting several Starbucks drive throughs this is the worst by far. For a new complex it was very grubby behind the counter from the drive through window. Cups, split drinks, straws etc all over the floor while staff were standing on their phones doing nothing. The shop was empty so clean up

Gran lugar, la cafetería en sí es preciosa y muy espaciosa. El personal es muy educado y el servicio es rápido. Mi única crítica sería que se habían agotado los sándwiches a la 1 pm un fin de semana (compramos los últimos 3 en justicia) pero todavía había gente esperando. El café es excepcional.

Greggs, you know what you're going to get. Sausage rolls, Sausage cheese and bean melt, happy happy days.

Went here on my day off to have some breakfast and wishes I hadn't. I ordered a bacon, breakfast bap. The young lad that served me, asked if I would like it buttered, which I replied "yes please". When it arrived, the bap was unbuttered and the bacon (1 piece) was uncooked and stone cold. I complained to the waitress that the bun was unbuttered and she just muttered something under her breath and returned a few minutes later, throwing a few sachets of butter onto our table without saying a word. I then realised that the bacon was undercooked and cold and that the bun had been previously frozen as it was falling apart when I tried to butter it. The breakfast bun cost me £3.50. I did not eat any of it as it was inedible and I did not have the patience to complain as I knew it would not get me anywhere. I shop at Morrisons every week and the staff are always very friendly but that was the last time I would ever eat at the cafe again.

Service slow and not a great choice of drinks... does improve with the right team... hopefully my next visit will be better
