Greens in Lancaster

Was allowed in by myself, but my friend wasn’t allowed in. Once I went to meet my friend suddenly I was as the course of the issue for the reason we was not allowed in. The horrible door staff ( a woman which I would more than gladly shame to the highest if I knew her name) would not allow my friend I , due to having his dads ashes in a billet necklace around his neck because she thought it was drugs after multiple attempts to prove it was not. Which she then preceded to “pretend hump” the air after mentioning this. Never have I ever come across something so disrespectful and disgusting in my life and never would I step foot near this place again due to the horrible bouncers. Horrible venue.

My wife and I called in for a drink,nice tidy pub, very friendly staff,good price drinks. Very nice lunch time drink,would definitely visit again.

I got kicked out for no reason just after buying a drink. But worst of all the bouncer was violent and choked me out. I have sprained my thumb on one hand and my finger on the other when trying to breathe. Do not go here DANGEROUS

I have been to many places in Lancaster, particularly bars. From my experience, staff in green is the best! The blonde girl from Ukraine was really nice to me and made a really good cocktail. I enjoyed talking to her.

We asked to change a drink. Granted we made a mistake the first time. after she shanged it she shouted at us from the bar saying we ordered the first one wrong then stormed off. Needs educating in customer service ASAP. It was the blonde one with the accent.

We go to this pub twice a week mainly just for a coffee or the odd drink as not really drinkers. Extremely good bar staff and great landlord.Great offers on every week. Try it folks you won't be disappointed... Very helpful to people with disabilities...

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around this part of town when we chanced upon Green's and what a great find. A really good pub,interior was spacious, main room dominated by an eye catching serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, all in all a wonderful pub to chill out in. We were here as the Everton v Liverpool match was about to kick off ,bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we luckily managed to get served quite quick, we ordered Strongbow cider, these were served chilled and sparkling, we luckily managed to get a table facing a big screen over the bar and enjoyed our ciders while watching the football. Every now and again I enjoy a cider,this cider certainly cut through the thirst, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a freezing cold cider and watching the footy. We really enjoyed our ciders in here before we moved on to another pub and for a first time visit to Green's we were more than impressed. Green's is easy to locate along North Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, Open from 10am. Sunday, Open from 11am. A wonderful pub,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Greens on North road is a very lively bar in Lancaster that offers a decent food range and a well priced drinks range. Greens is a very busy and popular bar that was extremely busy when we visited here in the evening as this bar had the Merseyside Derby on and this bar was packed. The bar has a large open-plan interior with fantastic seating areas throughout the bar interior and many TV screens.After we had ordered a Strongebow brewery fruit ciders we managed to get our seat and watched Liverpool beat Everton 1-4. Greens is an excellent bar'its maybe not to everyones taste but is a lively bar and well worth visiting and very easy to locate from Chapel Street bus stop its a minute's walk.(This is my first review of the Greens). A two night stay in Lancaster saw my twin brother Stephen and I hit many of the towns pubs and bars ,one that we chanced upon was Greens . This is I believe one of Lancaster's premier sport bars ,interior is quite good, main room dominated by a solid wood serving bar, nice decor and furnishings, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a really cool bar to visit. We were here on a Wednesday night, bar was packed with a great atmosphere, the Merseyside derby was on the big screens ,Everton v Liverpool, we luckily managed to get a table by the serving bar with great views of the football match ,we ordered bottles of Peroni beer ,served chilled, we just kicked back and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar whilst watching the football which was a great match with the red men of Liverpool F.C winning 4.1 against the Toffies . Beer served here was good, Peroni beer is a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink, we stayed here for the whole match, we had three bottles each of this delicious beer before we moved on and for a first time visit to Greens we had a great time. Greens is easy to locate along City Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, Open from 10am. Sunday, Open from 11am. A great sports bar, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.
