The Ring O Bells Pub is a fabulous pub my twin brother Stephen and I visited on our recent trip to this beautiful town and what a great pub this is . Housed in a lovely Grade II listed building, the interior is great, multi roomed, pubby decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their beer garden. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our guinness. My guinness was absolutely superb, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, very easy to drink, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality pint of the black stuff. We both really enjoyed our guinness here ,only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to The Ring O Bells Pub we had a great time. The Ring O Bells Pub is easy to locate along King Street. Opening hours are; Monday, Closed. Tuesday to Thursday, 3pm till 11pm. Friday, 3pm till Midnight. Saturday, 1pm till Midnight. Sunday, 3pm till 10pm. A wonderful pub,one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Ring O'Bells on King street is a superb pub in Lancaster that offers a well priced drink range and was one of the many pub's and bar's we visited in Lancaster on a two day trip. A traditional old pub with many interesting fixtures and features and fantastic seating options throughout the whole pubs interior with a nice bar and bar area. The pub itself is housed in a grade-II listed building which date's from 1769 and then used as a public house from the 19th century. We had just booked into the Ibis hotel and decided to go in here for a few glasse's of beers. When we visited we had a couple of pints of Guinness which where well served and well priced. Ring O'Bells is well worth a visit as its a very historic pub that offer's superb well priced beers and the staff are very friendly.Really easy to find from Queens Square bus stop its a short walk.(This is my first review of the Ring O'Bells). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-12.00-23.00. Friday-Saturday-12.00-00.00. Sunday-12.00-23.00. Nearest Bus Stop. Queens Square bus stop.

Potentially the most authentic beer garden in town that can house many people. Nice inside also although it is a smaller pub. All I'd like to see is a greater selection of draught lager.

Had a great night here, was staying across the road at the Travelodge and decided to pop in for an after dinner drink before retiring for the night. It was Brexit night and the pub had a great atmosphere, the locals were partying, and welcomed us. Drink prices are amazing, equalling Wetherspoons if not beating them on value. We drank in here for 2 evening, and will be back when next in the area.

Friendly, down to earth pub. Ex-students in their 60's reading at the bar and a group of wedding guests being as loud as possible took over most of the floor space. Bar staff bit snooty, nobody wanted to talk. A huge TV screen showing USA football in the corner. Pool table and darts room for the young adults. Generally unfriendly.

This is by far the worst pub I have EVER been in and I’m fifty years old. I went in on New Years Eve during the day, whilst visiting Lancaster. How I stayed in there without throwing up I don’t know. It smelt so bad I had to sit with my hair wrapped around my nose so I could smell my hair instead. I cannot describe the smell, it was like manure. It was vile. My husband was already at the bar and the guy had spoken to him, so it felt rude to walk out. All four of us were gagging, this place is just disgusting. I would comment on the decor but there wasn’t any. Just lots of strange panelling with ridiculous unmatching chairs all, over the place. Something like half a table top was stuck on the wall. The dust on the “table” we sat at was crying out for me to write my name in. It was rotten, filthy, I can’t believe it is even allowed to open. We couldn’t really focus on anything other than the dead body smell. What a vile place, I went back to my hotel for a shower, I wouldn’t step foot in this “pub” ever again and I would advise you to avoid like the plague

A friendly, local-style pub in the City centre, it's not been "modernised" and ruined. A notice on the door says that they don't serve food but, if you're having a drink, you can bring in your own from one of the many local food places! They have a fabulous beer garden - of quite a size - up old, worn stone steps at the back. You can really see how great it could be in summer to escape up there.

Leuk!

This pub did not used to do food and in fact had a policy where you could bring your own if you ordered drinks. A refreshing idea which helped make it the local for many, and demonstrated common sense, and respect for its customers. Now at least you can get breakfast and also they have curry night. The breakfast is similarly priced to wetherspoons but is nicer and comes with tea, coffee or juice. The pub itself has the best beer garden in town, occasional live music, free games to play, a reasonably priced pool table, and a real open fire in winter.it may look a little dated, and a bit locals only but don't be narrow minded and give it a try.

Went for a toasted sandwich, it was burnt on one side, and not toasted on the other. I gave the chap the money, which was over the amount, and had to ask for the change. The sandwich was just squeezed into the box, no serviettes or anything. I haven't been to Diggles for a long time, for the same reason. It hasn't improved at all.
