Costa Coffee in Lancaster

The delivery driver went to the wrong place and the drinks turned up with about a 3rd of the drink missing.

It was nice and the employee’s morals were great, but the location on Google was incorrect

By the time our drinks got to us they had melted there was no frappe texture at all

was very nice and the girl who dropped it off was very nice and beautiful 😊

A nice place to take a rest in Lancaster city centre.

Just a quick coffee and bacon bun as usual. Everything was as you would expect. Always like to come here for a bit of a break.

Arrived extremely late. Toastie and coffee were both cold by the time I got them.

toasties was cold on arrival , box wasn't even sealed to even try keep it warm.

Items were missing from my order. The order should of been cancelled from your end not me have to deal with it. Poor customer service

Hot chocolate was so cold and was an hour late!

Disappointed today ordered two large hot chocolate and only got 1 and not even half a one refund request picture available should someone need it

The coffee was medium not large as I paid for and the bacon bun was cold.

A standard Costa coffee shop in the centre of Lancaster. Your typical range of drinks & food available. Lost a * because a recent TV programme showed Costa coffee as having the least amount of caffeine.

Can never go wrong with a Costa. It's my Saturday treat.

not up to standards - usually our go to lunch Café Nero it will be from now on, considerably better price as well !

My panini was barely left in the oven giving me soggy bread & non-melted cheese. To top that off I got a watery hot chocolate and a soggy tiffin. Not worth the £9.20 at all!!!! (talk about expensive) Do not recommend… go cafe nero instead!!!

Toastie was not cooked properly, the bread was soggy. Not worth the £4 paid.

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking down Penny Street when we decided to drop into this Costa Coffee and what a great find. Your typical Costa Coffee ,a light & airy interior ,modern decor and furnishings and seating options both inside and outside,we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of staff,we ordered a flat white coffee each,served steaming hot,we settled down and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. A big fan of the coffee served in Costa Coffee ,it's consistent in all their outlets ,their flat white's are a particular favourite of mine. We really enjoyed our coffees in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this Costa Coffee outlet we had a great time,it's easy to locate along Penny Street in St Nicholas Arcade ,the popular shopping centre.

With each Costa Coffee being pretty much the same, this one was no different. Staff obviously change from place to place and they often make the big difference. On this occasion they were very polite, helpful and smiled!

Had a frostino that had big chunks of ice in it. Not ground up properly. Tasted ok tho.

Great and convenient place for a coffee shop. They have great drinks. My favourite is the salted caramel frostino.

Staff are lovely - except one, he seemed arrogant and rude to the female members of staff. Haven't seen him since though (although its a rarity I pop in)

Coffee and cake stop while travelling. Lovely place, clean , tidy, COVID compliant and polite staff. We both enjoyed our break and look forward to the next time. Well done.

Stopped for a cappuccino in Costa’s, service was efficient and friendly. There was a trainee learning the till system so was slow. (But that is not a problem) The coffee was great as usual from a Costa branch.

Coffee is okay, cappuccino had to be remade as it was just foam and tasted of milk. Second cappuccino was far too hot but drinkable. Used to be a place we'd visit frequently but there's better choices in Lancaster. Like Brew or Journey Social, or Esquires who serve better coffee.

I like this Costa's as there's lots of room and an upstairs but too.Staff always nice & friendly and it's handy for grabbing a brew and standing in St Nicholas Arcade if weathers bad or you just want to carry on shopping xxx

A lovely place to get a festive latte.

The shop is a very narrow, which leaves it feeling a little cramped- though the tables are well organized to accommodate the design. The Too Good To Go magic bags are fantastic, well filled with a variety of different foods, definitely recommend getting one.

Costa is a good place to go for a coffee and light refreshments. At Christmas time they have a selection of new drinks. I especially enjoyed the Irish latte with added cream. They also do a very nice hot chocolate. Bacon and sausage buns are available as well as various toasties.

Awful service and awful coffee! The place was incredibly dirty and unhygienic! The coffee was like instant, considering it was supposed to be a cappuccino it was like so watery with no foam! Won’t be using this branch of Costa again

My partner and I visited for a coffee and light breakfast, all was lovely as usual, albeit my latte was a little heavy on froth. Would of given 4 but I don't quite think this outlet has there Corona service pinned down. A couple of times they had to ask people to wait outside (in rain) whilst we queued, some gave up as the general flow of counter service isn't the quickest. Also staff had to walk passed my chair to the lift to bring dishes down, breaking distancing measure, more thought needs to be given to process flows too

Not the best Costa that I've been in, the soft bread bun ended up burnt and hard after it was heated up, the coffee was bitter and there was no handle on the door to pull it open on the way out.

Had a little pit stop in Costa. Well needed in between all the shopping. The store is in a great location, easily accessible and the staff were lovely. Would definitely visit again.

Me and my friend were in Costa yesturday we go in regular. Noticed a staff member who served us was new ,she was very rude when we asked for our drinks.the tables had not been cleared whilst 2 staff members were chatting behind the counter and were not busy.

Not to the standard I expected. The hot chocolates are good, but also hard to fail, while the coffee was simply terrible. And that's really unacceptable when paying +/- £3 for a brew...

I am quite disappointed in behalf of the two staff who were left on the front counter this morning. A congratulations is in order for how well they kept up this morning and I really do feel for them. It is disgraceful how one of the senior staff members came and seen how busy and backed up it was but disappeared without blinking or offering a hand. I waited over 20 minutes for a small latte. Quite frankly this is not on. The staff at the counter were low on a number of things and honestly two people are unable to cope with that. Anyone could see that. I cannot believe how they are treating their staff. To add to this the kitchen behind the front counter needs a very thorough clean.

There is no other way I can say this... Costa is simply the best thing to happen EVER. I love their quirky twists on drinks, their decor and everything about their brand image. I swear the staff are just hand picked out of a pot which houses the nicest individuals in the world. Wherever you go, what ever you're doing, you're not far from a Costa coffee and that's, in my opinion, a contributing factor to why life is so great! When Coca cola bought Costa it worried me a little and I held back from writing a review actually. However, I'm so glad that they haven't changed anything about Costa's image, it was so important to me that their innocent purpose to rid the world of bad coffee still exists and is being acted upon. I love Costa, it's a company which I will always associate with happy memories - thank you for staying the same, please don't ever change 😂😁

Well refreshments were good but the restroom/toilet(downstairs) left a lot to be desired! To be fair the male users prior to my visit were responsible! Thankfully they had lifted the seat so I didn't have to wipe anything! 🤢

I always enjoy going to Costa but recently it seems the place is going downhill, as I walked in today I noticed that the tables were dirty and when I say dirty the were spills on them and staff were just behind the counter lounging around, why were they not cleaning these table is it not in there job description or something, it seems to me that young folk these days just want to earn there wage but not do the work that comes with it.
