We came for afternoon tea for my sisters birthday, I was very pleasantly surprised, I have had afternoon teas in the past and I can say for the price £25 (with Prosecco) this was definitely the best. The food was sublime, there was nothing on there that I didn’t enjoy. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and professional. Tea and coffee were unlimited and we even got a box to take home, as there was lots of food. Overlooking the bay this was one of the best I have had !!! We will definitely be back !!!

Pleasant restaurant with superb views of Morecambe Bay. I thought that it would have been much busier on a Sunday evening but we were the only people eating there. There is a reasonable choice of food on the main menu and being Sunday, the traditional Sunday Lunch menu was also available. We both had the selection of marinated olives with chilli, garlic and focaccia with salted butter to start with. My wife had crispy chilli chicken with fried rice, tomato and capsicum sauce, chilli and spring onions for her main course. I had the feather blade of beef with bone marrow dumplings, shallots, carrots and watercress puree. Both meals were delicious and very filling. The beef was very tender. The server Jaz, was extremely attentive and couldn't do enough to help. A few more draught beer options, would improve the otherwise extensive drinks menu.

I use Aspect on a regular basis mainly for food but sometimes just for a drink to admire the views . Food and service are always the very best ! Can't be faulted

We returned to Aspect after really enjoying our visit last year. I ordered duck and my partner feather blade steak. The steak was good but unfortunately my duck was tough. There were was no attempt to recompense for this it was almost like well this happens! Very disappointing

Dined here for dinner and found the place to be surprisingly good. Overlooking the seafront we had views of the coastline which gave us front row seats to the thunder and lightning that rolled in from the west. The food was lovely. Starters, mains and deserts. The young girls that waited were absolutely amazing. They were all very friendly, chatty with great personalities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Went for meal tonight it was lovely perfectly cooked, the service was top rate by young person on duty.

We came here with our clients as we were from Personal Freedom Ltd and we brought our fantastic clients with us to share this fantastic experience. The staff were amazing as they met our clients unique requirements and needs, they even are amazing and accommodating children too, the view was also spectacular and the food was amazing and great value, we would be happy to return here in the future.

I would recommend the Wonderful Afternoon Tea here. Great choices for me as a Vegetarian thanks to the Chef Richard. Wonderful attentive waitressing by Morgan. Cakes to die for, huge scones and wonderful sandwiches and Quiche. A lovely glass of Prosecco wonderful tea and a sea view. Sheer Bliss.

We had an excellent three course meal at Aspect Bar & Bistro; very reasonably priced for a meal of this standard. The menu is extensive, with a good choice of dishes clearly made from scratch. Lovely seafront location. Friendly, efficient, attentive staff. Everything was excellent but the highlight for me was the Twice Baked Applewood Smoked Cheese Soufflé, Lancaster Cream. Light and fluffy with a gorgeous creamy cheese sauce. Delicious. Fantastic. A triumph!

Stopped at Morecambe for the night wondered around they had the best menu for our taste we weren’t disappointed both food & service first class

Morecambe at its best.....piercing blue skies, lively high tide and a glorious view across Morecambe Bay to the majestic Lakeland hills....and we could enjoy all of this from our window table at the seafront Aspect Bar and Bistro. And, it must be said, our Sunday lunch completed the whole experience in great style......outstanding food, quality service and top-notch location. Three of us were there for a belated birthday celebration and we all agreed that the place came up trumps. Morecambe Bay shrimps and a bowl of stilton and broccoli soup were among our starters, while Wainwright beer-battered haddock and salmon Wellington were excellent choices for mains. Ice cream and sticky toffee pudding brought proceedings to a close, but not without a final sip of a rather splendid red, kindly provided as a surprise by a friend. Cheers Mike! All in all, first class. Well done to all concerned.

Stopped here for lunch with the better half. Service from the young lady was spot on and the food was exactly what we were looking for. Would have been perfect for a stop off whilst walking the front but raining when we were there.

Food was OK, drinks were SEVERELY overpriced and I’m sure prices were made up on the spot, staff were miserable and the Scottish lady might as well have taken up a job in policing fun rather than the entertainment business. Would not recommend for a staff party.

Only had tea and scones but it was perfect. Great service and very relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly come again.

We had lunch with friends and just wanted sandwiches and chips with a coffee or tea. Perhaps it is our expectations but when a cheese sandwich comes on two slices of warburtons style white bread with about 8 chips on the side of the plate it really doesn’t feel like value for money. I can make that at home for perhaps 40p per serving. I think the expectation is that at least the bread is a bit more artisan rather than off the shelf. Other tables had separate bowls of chips so clearly if you order chips on the side you get more. Lovely young man serving us, but such a weary looking lunch.

We really enjoyed our 1st visit for afternoon tea. Wonderful selection of sandwich fillings with sausage roll and quiche to satisfy hungry appetites! Excellent variety of desserts and fresh scones. Attentive staff kept the tea flowing! Great views of the bay. Couldn't fault it. We'll be back!

Visited Aspect on a Sunday evening. We've been here a few times over the years as it has been convenient amd we've always had a good experience. On this occasion we visited after arriving in Morecambe late due to problems with M6 closures and knowing that the following evening we were visiting the Midland Hotel for dinner for my birthday, the first time we'd ever decided to do so. To cut this rambling story short, our three course dinner in Aspect set a high bar that the Midland was simply unable to reach in terms of quality and presentation. It was excellent across the board, wine included, and for a much better price. In fact we've been to several Morecambe restaurants over the years and Aspect can comfortably compete with any of them and often exceed them. On this occasion however, it was just truly excellent. Top marks to the young waiting staff and the excellent kitchen.

Another lovely lunch sat on the stunning outside balcony overlooking Morecambe Bay ! We both opted for home made Chicken Kiev with char grilled baby gem ! Outstanding ! Thank you Jamie for slick service and cold water bowl for the hound ! Also try their excellent Sunday Lunches, also excellent!

Came here last night, Monday 10th April, for our wedding anniversary with our friends. We were given a sea view which was really good as the sun was setting. We all had 3 courses and the food was amazing!! I had the tempura vegetables which were crispy and not at all greasy which can happen. Then to follow blade of beef, wow the beef just fell apart and the vegetables and gravy were really good. After I have the creme brulee with shortbread biscuit. Honestly everything I ate was amazing! We will definitely be coming back.

Wow went here for our wedding anniversary with friends and the food was amazing!!! We all had 3 courses and each one was truly good food. Wish I'd taken pictures of the food but was too busy enjoying it!

Three course menu for £70, pre-chosen. All the food was lovely and nice to see that (from a customer view) there appeared to be enough serving staff to do an attentive job. Additional bonus of a window table, giving unrivalled views across the bay at sunset, nature's own light show for free.

Absolutely top quality afternoon teas, the festive one was insanely good. Fabulous value and a lovely staff member made it a very enjoyable afternoon out.

The staff were mostle exceptional, especially the barman during the day. Some of the evening waiting staff were very young and seemed inexperienced but were polite and helpful at all times.

Had 2 wonderful evenings enjoying drinks then a meal sitting outside taking in the stunning views across Morecombe bay.

Was just visiting Morecambe and fancied a pizza so as I walked along the front I found aspects . Nice small menu and a lovely sunset view on the balcony. The pizza was freshly made with the lightest of dough and smothered in deliciousness! All just the right amount to have you wanting more. The chef has got the Italian touch just right , a touch of fresh basil would have sent me in a frenzy ! Lol. Honestly it’s well worth the money and you’d go back again! Thanks chef for making my visit memorable!

We've visited a few times for different occasions, this time a golden wedding anniversary, it's a great venue, friendly staff and an excellent buffet.

Myself and my wife were looking forward to a child free evening (very rare), we have eaten/drank/had functions in the past at Aspect. This time the service was awful, the food they brought us was for the wrong table.... I physically handled the plate initially before realizing it was incorrect... once we informed the staff they simply picked it up and took it straight to another table!!! Once we did get our correct food order, the steak was cooked beyond comprehension, I had to ask for a Steak knife and even that struggled, the food was a fair attempt at a Weatherspoons standard but 4x the price. Drinks orders were slow/forgotten! The young waitress that was serving in the restaurant said loudly to her fellow serve "I cant stand customers, cant wait to get back to beauty"! The only saving grace was the lady behind the bar was quite pleasant when we complained.

Went to Aspect this evening for a drink with my husband. We decided to stay for a meal and both ordered pizzas. When they came, the waitress she said ‘pepperoni?’I said my husband has ordered salami and she said ‘yeah salami’. She then said ‘mushroom and summat!’ I had ordered mushroom, roasted peppers and rocket. Mushroom and ham wasn’t on the menu but the summat that the waitress was referring to was ham! She took the pizza back. No apologies. My husband had to ask her to take his away and bring it back when mine was ready so we could eat together. Whilst all this was happening, the background music was trance music. Totally inappropriate for the age of the clientele who were in there. My husband asked a waitress if there was some other background music. She asked the manager and he/she said they couldn’t turn the music off. We said that we didn’t ask for it to be turned off, we just asked if there was an alternative. At one point though, the music changed and it was great for 2 minutes and then it went back to trance music again! When we were going, a lovely waitress came to take our plates. We mentioned about the music and she said that she had changed the music only for the manager to change it back again. I said that he/she needs to look at the age of the people in the bistro as I would say the average age was about 50 to 60. A lady on the table behind, stood up and said to the waitress that the customer is definitely right! Really disappointed that the manager didn’t apologise for the issue with the pizza. Also disappointed that he/she didn’t acknowledge our comments about the music and totally dismissed everything that we had said. To be honest they never showed their face at all. The food was nice and one lovely waitress but some of the staff/management need to brush up on their customer service skills!

We came here for an afternoon tea today. It consisted of a variety of sandwiches, quiches, sausage roll, a variety of cakes, scones, butter, jam and cream, prosecco, tea and coffee. Delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. When we were unable to eat all of it they even packed it up into a box for us to eat later. We enjoyed it so much that we spent several more hours on the balcony overlooking the bay having drinks and enjoying the view and are planning to come back tomorrow for our evening meal.

Sharing this review on behalf of the 18 person hen do booked in for afternoon tea at 2pm today. There was an overall consensus of the customer service, especially from a Chantelle, was awful. She was sullen and rude. The long wait for food and drinks would of been more bearable if it wasnt for her. I get that places like this get busy but for one of your staff being constantly rude is not a good advert for your business. Food was good but next time if they want to go for an afternoon tea or even just drinks all 18 are going elsewhere

Went on Saturday 11/06/22 it was awful from start to finish arrived at 7pm for a meal waited till 7.25 for a drinks order then waited for meal which is overpriced asked for sirloin well done had to send back it was still pink inside staff very slow and there was only 4 people In there I wouldn’t go there again awful meal and way overpriced Aldi do a nicer sirloin for £3.50 disgusting

On arrival staff were very friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food was excellent and we will definitely be having dinner there again. Best meal I have had in a while and reasonably priced as well. We had a window seat and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

How happy we were on Saturday to have our afternoon tea at Aspect. Even though there was a wedding on, the staff were extremely attentive to all their guests. We was looked after by Jamie, Evan & Liam. These lads are an asset to the company as they made us so welcome and chatted to us with ease. They are very polite, kindhearted & professional young men. Jamie will definitely go places in life as he is such a lovely person! The chefs need a mention too, their afternoon tea is delicious, pastry’s so light! Thank you to Tash and the whole team for a great afternoon!

Friendly, but waiting time is appalling, food average took approx 3hrs to get a main course and dessert kisds get restless been 3 times now with similar experience, thinking it could have been a one off but won't go back again.

Booked the table as a family member has moved nearby so it was a bit of a reconnaissance visit to see if it could be our 'go to' when I visit. Brought my dad too. The views of the bay are fabulous and the young women who served us were very pleasant. The food took a little while but was perfectly fine. The reason I can't give a higher rating is that is that as the place got busier it became apparent the staff were too thin on the ground. We waited 20 minutes after our main course plates were cleared before being offered the pudding menu. When we were given it no one came back for the order. After about half an hour we had to go to the bar to pay so we could leave. Bit sad because the place has huge potential and looks really nice. As we left via the lift we had to pass the kitchen and it sounded like someone was having a go at one of the waiting on staff. (Someone had complained about something from another table, we'd overheard it, so don't know if it was related to that.) I would emphasise that the waiting on staff were very pleasant. When I mentioned this to my son's partner she confirmed that this had also been her experience on the two occasions she'd been. Maybe the problem is down to a low supply of staff, either way, I hope they sort it. We walked a little way and found a lovely ice cream shop instead anyway 😊

Friend booked afternoon tea for 12 for their silver wedding. Spoke to staff twice after original booking so it was seen on their computer system. When we turned up they said nothing had been booked the manager came and left us standing in foyer while she rudely questioned us “who did you speak to what days did you ring ?” It seemed obvious she didn’t want to be bothered with a party of 12 and just wanted us to leave and told us that we couldn’t have the afternoon tea that had been booked. Eventually when she realised we wanted something she did offer 1 free bottle of Prosecco, at this point we were still stood in foyer! We were seated and told we could order off ordinary menu which we did. She offered 10% off bill. To me this is an insult when it was their fault they had failed to get A BOOKED afternoon tea ready. This completely spoiled a very special occasion for a wonderful couple. Once the manager had given the bottle of Prosecco we never saw her again. Disgusted with manager and handling of this situation Would not return as have no faith in place.

Booked a Birthday lunch online for my partner. On arrival the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We sat by the window to take in the view. The bar and bistro was very clean and tidy and organised. The food and staff service was top notch. Would highly recommend.

We went on the christmas dinner and dance lastnight, the foid was excellant and DJ lots of fun.

Christmas party night. 9 people including 1 person in a large electric wheelchair and another with a walking frame sharing a round table that is less than 1 meter wide. It was impossible and ludicrous. Staff not so pleasant. There is more.

Very Lively pub/disco on Saturday night....if you like that sort of thing then this is for you..

Pre booked an outside terrace table...when we arrived they were all full so we were seated inside. Some of the staff were OK, most of them were miserable and seemed annoyed that we were there. Asked for more ice in my cocktail and the waitress (older woman, scraped back blonde ponytail, skinny) looked like i had just asked her for something ridiculous. its ice love, you get paid to be a waitress, be one. Cocktails were OK, service was not, shambles really, when we did eventually move outside to where we were originally meant to be, that same waitress got annoyed that we moved, she needs retraining..or sacking.

Cracking location for a drink - sat and a had a cocktail looking out over the stunning view and it was just lovely. Cocktail was made properly and not one of those nasty pre-mixed things you get in a lot of places. Great value as well.

Never write reviews but after my meal I had tonight I really felt like I needed to praise Aspect. The quality of the food was out of this world and the staff managed to get us a table for four last minute within 15 minutes...

Great food at reasonable enough prices. Staff were accomodating, friendly and and handled our group of 11 well. The sea views and wonderful Morecambe sunset made for a brilliant dining experience.

Unfortunately after waiting an hour for our order it was delivered by the waitress who said she didn't even know what it was. Tbh, neither did I. Undercooked roasted cauliflower with broccoli that was not only not caramelized but was also cold. The lunguine was equally as tasteless. Avoid if vegetarian.

Shocked and disgusted by the £20 per person cancellation fee!! We are in a pandemic perhaps I should have made the member of my party show up!!! This should be transparent at booking not after... in an email!! Is that even legal!!! So for all those of us who kept The BestWestern Lothersdale going by having takeaways two fingers up to you... Customers are really not valued... so book at your peril and don't get ill... Suffice to say I will never book there or encourage anyone to book there ever again...

Good food , good service , but when we went to pay with cash we was informed that we have to have exact change because they do not give change back anymore , I asked why & the young lady replied , technology , what ever that means , we won't be back any time soon , shame really .

Nice place with great views across the bay, tables booked have a time of 2 hour's due to covid, food was good as was service access for wheelchair users has to go through the hotel otherwise stairs from the front. Dinning outside and indoors wc is down stairs and a walk all told a pleasant meal with view's
