Cafe Morrisons in Lancaster

Went here on my day off to have some breakfast and wishes I hadn't. I ordered a bacon, breakfast bap. The young lad that served me, asked if I would like it buttered, which I replied "yes please". When it arrived, the bap was unbuttered and the bacon (1 piece) was uncooked and stone cold. I complained to the waitress that the bun was unbuttered and she just muttered something under her breath and returned a few minutes later, throwing a few sachets of butter onto our table without saying a word. I then realised that the bacon was undercooked and cold and that the bun had been previously frozen as it was falling apart when I tried to butter it. The breakfast bun cost me £3.50. I did not eat any of it as it was inedible and I did not have the patience to complain as I knew it would not get me anywhere. I shop at Morrisons every week and the staff are always very friendly but that was the last time I would ever eat at the cafe again.

Avoid, this place is terrible even 1230 very few customers in. I stood at till for 5 minutes before being served and only myself there. Food 2 breakfasts took over 20 minutes to arrive and they were only just edible,Luke warm, undercooked bacon,rock hard hash browns. This cafe did not even have proper cups for the dishwater coffee just take out paper cups. Never ever will we return.

The cake was delicious, however the coffee machines were not working properly. The staff don't appear to know what they are doing with the machine. Said it has been faulty all morning. This is a common occurrence. Is it possible for the machines to be replaced.

On arrival at the store, we needed the toilet . OMG disgusting is not a strong enough word! They were filthy and the smell of ammonia was unbearable! One urinal out of order one hand basin out of order , and the toiled was disgusting.I brought this to the attention to the duty manager Jackie , who was very apologetic and closed the toilets immediately for cleaning. We then went in cafe for breakfast . Food was quick, but unfortunately, the tables had been cleaned of a fashion. In reality what had been done, is the mess on the table had been spread round with a dirty damp cloth . The young man who was clearing the tables , seemed to be doing everyone’s job, so not his fault. When I went to put the vinegar on my chips , there was no small hole stopper on the vinegar bottle, so my food was drowning in vinegar. I brought this to the attention of the lady who served me, she simply took the bottle of vinegar away , and didn’t utter a word , so I think I paid for the privilege of visiting a dirty under staffed store . Morrison’s if you read this, get your act together, your store is filthy!!!

Called in for a coffee while out. Spacious cafe great staff, very clean food looked good. Furniture whilst clean looked a little shabby and worn

Called in at numerous Morrison’s cafes over the years and this is by far the worst we have come across, the cafe was approximately half full, the majority of the empty tables were either dirty or full of plates, cups etc. The whole place had a very tired grubby feel to it and there was also a very strong smell of fish, there was one member of staff trying her best to keep things tidy but couldn’t keep up, there did however seem to be quite a few people in the kitchen! We only called in for a hot drink and to be honest would not have eaten there anyway. The drinks were nice and hot (which is why we have given it two marks) but in all fairness we made them ourselves at the machine.
