The best restaurants in Fylde North West

Absolutely great place but the constant, monotonous semi loud dance music is a complete put me off and very, very, very irritating.

Food was average, wouldn't say it was anything spectacular for the price you pay, lacked flavours. Staff where friendly, restaurant is nice, however toilets and the back are very dirty.

One of the important things to consider is the food which we had no complaints. The premises were excellent spacious and furnished tastefully. Our complaint was the presentation of the senior staff. The girls serving dressed in black were perfection in comparison. The other females approximately 5 in all behind the bar were a disorganised mob. Maybe a type of informal uniform could be considered. Remember first impressions count.

Service was decent- I was served quickly, and the waiters were polite, however the food was such a disappointment- The chicken was overcooked and hard, to the point it was almost impossible to swallow without choking, so we threw the rest in the bin. The vegetable rolls are disgusting too- they just taste like chemicals and oil, like they've been sitting in a deep-fryer for weeks, if not months. I'm never going back here again.

Extremely disappointing, to be honest my husband really likes Cartford inn but I've always found it hit and miss. We have only ever been in the evening, however we decided to try Sunday lunch. The service is always good, very friendly staff, but this time the main Sunday lunch was awful. I had beef and my husband had the ham. The beef was fatty, you couldn't chew it and I really struggled to cut it, the roast potatoes were hard, the gravy was definitely out of a packet, the only good bit was the Yorkshire pudding even the red cabbage was over seasoned. When I complained it was removed from the bill. We won't be returning in a hurry, it's a 45 min drive from home, there is far better locally and they don't come under Michelin guide as Cartford does . That definitely needs reviewing.

Excellent food and drink good service

We decided to stop here for late lunch whilst travelling through. We booked a table and glad we did as it was busy at 3pm on a Saturday. We ordered, the chilli nachos, fish, tuna baguette and the calamari. All delicious, generous portions and well priced. The wine was very good, and nice to see it not being over priced. Children had one scoop of ice cream and we shared a toffee crunch cheesecake. All very fresh and tasty. Staff were lovely and the owners welcoming. Will be back when next in the area.

Peaceful, cosy atmosphere & ideal for socialising. No distractions from the outside world &/or music in the background. The food is typical, like their other competitor's, Costa Coffee, Starbucks, to name a couple. Toasties, sandwich or a Croissant. And plenty of cakes to choose upon.

I have been to Bradley’s and the food is immaculate. But I was stood waiting at the bar for a drink with 2 people inside for 20 mins… the chef came out to apologise multiple times. The bar manager is called Ian and all I can say is how rude he really is.

It pains me to leave a negative review for this place. I try to be fair with any review I write. There’s no argument from me, the food from The Raj is absolutely perfect. In fact, I’ve never had a bad meal from here. However, over the past few months the service has been nothing short of terrible. They’ve accepted orders via Foodhub and then after 40 mins cancelled AND Foodhub take the payment and then you have to go through the hassle of claiming off Foodhub and waiting days for the refund. Or they leave orders pending on the app and don’t respond. If the owners read this review, here’s a tip: TURN OFF YOUR ORDER SYSTEM IF YOU DON’T INTEND TO ACCEPT ORDERS. They NEVER answer the phone. Sometimes it diverts to a mobile and after more ringing ‘this number is not accepting calls.’ It’s clear The Raj DON’T want your custom. So don’t waste your time trying to order. A real shame, 10/10 for food. 0/10 for service.

Ruchi is the best Indian takeaway in Blackpool and my husband and I order from Ruchi about once a week. My husband says his Korma is the best he's ever had and enough for 2 meals when extra chicken is added. My shashlik chicken is sublime, usually have this but sometimes lazeer, also delicious. Consistently superb and very good value for money.

Lovely friendly hotel. The bar food menu was good the only gripe was that there was not much choice for vegetarian meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely place to stay for a few days break.

We was the last customers yesterday evening. The staff was soo friendly and understanding and let us stay a little bit longer. The best place ever. Thank you very much for yesterday.
