Comfortable, nice surroundings, Excellent coffee, dog friendly.

Good lattes, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I like to go there on my own and just sit and reflect. No one bothers you and I like the app. Round Christmas when you purchase a drink and collect stamps on the app you get some crackers to open to get special rewards like bonus stamps. Today I even got money off my coffees and food through paying through the app. Excellent.

Always find Cafe Nero one of the better coffee shops. The staff polite & friendly, great coffee and good selection of food compared to other high street coffee shops. St Annes was no different.

Christ all mighty get a toilet seat fitted in the gents toilet, there hasn’t been one in there for over three weeks, if cost is an issue start a GoFundMe. Management, get a grip!

Very surprised to experience customer service far below the standard that I’m used to in other Nero coffee houses on Feb 10. Experienced the not-so-pleasant, bored and blonde Saturday girl duo who gave an astonishingly accurate portrayal of entitled, uninterested, above—their station baristas. It takes a lot for me to have to turn to some form of review like this but sadly the customer service by these two were appalling, especially for Nero, who have in the past provided nothing but sophisticated, polite, caring, warm service staff with a willingness to not just smile with sincerity but go the extra mile to ensure your Nero experience is a satisfactory one (just by being friendly is a start). Unfortunately the two blonde girls serving gave you the impression that you were lucky to be served by them. Now I know I’ve heard a lot these days of people saying ‘where has customer service gone?’ generally but this isn’t something I’ve EVER experienced at a Nero coffee shop. But the two young girls in question need to be trained not just on making the drinks but on basic common courtesy, communicating manners properly and ensuring the customer is made to feel comfortable and at ease with the experience. When you’re paying near to £5 per drink, on any normal Nero visit is worth the money, but when you’re treated like a second rate citizen with their nonchalant attitude and unsympathetic and detached manner, all of a sudden, the drink becomes irrelevant and it really does affect your all-round experience to the point where you don’t want to visit this place again. A friend I was with remarked quite accurately afterwards “well they were a bit sour” and SOUR is EXACTLY what they were! Even approaching the till to place the order, they were more concerned about continuing their conversation than tend to a paying customer. I understand sometimes it must be exhausting being face to face with potentially unsavoury customers all day and must be tiring being on your feet all that time, but please don’t put your self-importance in the face of a customer who is simply their to enjoy a coffee in their favourite coffee shop. It’s a real shame, totally put me off returning to the St Annes cafe. Your pompous adolescent behaviour is a disgrace and huge disservice to Nero. You either have forgotten customer service or have never known it. Either way, climb down off your pedestals, you have a lot to learn!

It needs refurbishment and bringing into 21st century. It looks old and in need of some serious TLC.

Normal Caffe Nero experience, better than the other chains and some independents, though details not as sharp as they used to be, such as hand dryer out of order and a leak rendering one side of the window seating unavailable.. But this seems a common standard particularly in the chains currently.

Nice, clean with good coffee we like Nero, had the best one in Nero in York by the minster this was ok but didn't reach those heights. Staff decent service good coffee good thanks.

Caffe Nero have a dog friendly policy. Based on today's experience of a loud dog barking frequently in the middle of the room this should be reconsidered. Toilets absolutely disgusting and not checked regularly and coffee very average.

Great friendly staff nice coffee too

Really gone downhill this Nero. It's dirty, the coffee isn't great and it looks like it needs a complete refurbishment. The staff are rude, well this young lady was particularly rude this morning - choosing to engage with her social life and carrying on a boring conversation with a friend before even acknowledging me, nevermind taking my order and completing said order. There's a few longterm members of staff who are great but the younger ones are awful. This Nero needs a complete refurbishment and more commitment.

Best coffee in st Anne's. Much better than Costa and (although I love independent coffee shops) more consistent than others in the area. Decor is as normal for cafe Nero. Too few outdoor seats is the only thing letting this one down.

Needs a very good clean, I don’t know when the last time the baby change was properly cleaned and disinfected, it was so disgusting. We arrived at 4.50 and although they close at 6, half the cafe was closed off and we were given our drinks in takeaway cups. Drinks were mediocre at best. Whole atmosphere is tired. Go somewhere else.

Went in for a coffee and a cake on my birthday, told the nice barista catia and because they didn’t have any candles, she drew me one on a little napkin :). Very good start to my birthday thank you

Not happy with service had to go to counter, i thought after coming out of lockdown it was table service only, could only leave tracking details if you had NHS app which is diabolical, tables weren't clean, staff were not very pleasant, didn't tell us what we had to do when entering, they were more interested in finishing their conversation

Previous experience overcharged £2. No receipt no refund. This time i rejected a £2 mince pie purchase. She said promotion ended nearly 2 weeks ago (was £1) Its yours to purchase because you asked for it. Plus other coffee shops have waived the tax making the customers significant savings. Worth 4 quid to be cured. Their attitude sucks

Visited LYTHAM & ST. ANNES branch today 22nd Oct. Table we sat at for coffee had a timber top, I used for anti bacterial wipes to clean the surface and the dirt that came off it was disgusting they were filthy and I mean filthy couldn' believe it so much for Thier cleaning regime not good Nero's at all will not visit again never.

Good coffee with social distancing and hygiene being adhered to

It was ok, but we were sitting inside and we got our coffee and tea in take away cups and I got a blueberry muffin which was just put into a bag. If I'm sitting in I like to actually get cups or a mug and a plate and knife if I have a cake. Won't be going back in a hurry

the place was nice and the drink was ok but I don't like cafe Nero syrups I remember years ago I absolutely used to love cafe Nero so I don't know if they've changed the people I buy cigarettes from or if I've just changed my pallet it's a shame because it used to be quite a dominant company and now it's just seems like it's in locations where it brings in enough money and doesn't really expand

I am appalled that a few people do not seem to like Caffe Nero. I love it. They welcome both wheelchairs and dogs, neither of which present the slightest problem for customers. If you approach the staff as human beings, as I try to do, they respond well and are helpful and friendly. There is a big list of available drinks, and they are happy to explain things if you want some novelty. The range of sandwiches, paninis and cakes is excellent. It was Tuesday so used our 02 priority app to get a free coffee. Staff seem fed up but the drinks were good. Toilet could do with a good clean.

I am a regular customer here I don't understand why the men's toilet seat has not been replaced it's been missing for weeks the Cafe is great toilet rubbish maybe the area manager could do something about it prices keep rising at Nero spend money on your store a reply would be great

This place is clean ,and the coffee great ,the staff are really friendly ,the 2 Sophie's are really nice 😀

We just love a cafe that lets you wander in with your little furry friend and Cafe Nero is one of the best. The staff are fine, the coffee is always good and the food for a coffee shop chain is usually as good as you can expect. Costa, watch and learn, by not allowing dogs you are instantly blowing away 25% of your potential customers.

They cater for dairy free sufferers

I've visited this cafe quite a few times of late- mainly as a convenient mid-way location for meetings and it been Ok but not more. The coffee I've always found has been average, initially I though it was a 'one off' but after three visits, it seems to be the norm.
