Brilliant! Very nice and cosy. Lovely staff etc 10/10

It was a great experience. Like all Wetherspoons, very popular and very busy but the friendly, hardworking staff always cheerfully manage.

Really busy even before 6pm,had to wait for a table. Understandably, as the atmosphere was exciting, buzzing with a buzz of freinly banter and the occasional firm call from the bar staff to get your attention to give you swift and great service. An amazing experience, and a must-do when in Lytham.

Very good drinks and refills of hot drinks - spot on. A very comfortable pub where the staff are courteous and efficient. However, the food is very hit and miss. I get that it is cheap - particularly after two o clock, but 12 chips in a meal? When did chips become a luxury commodity? Great sausages and bacon, fried egg ok - too many beans (as per - there are never too many sausages!), and b*gger-all chips. Please stop short-changing us on the fries. People do notice.

This has to be the cleanest Weatherspoons I have visited. Rapid pleasant service , good food, beer in excellent condition, and by no means least , no mounds of dirty plates and glasses and detritus on the floor ,as is usual on a busy day at this chain . Staff collecting used crockery and glasses as you finish with them , wiping tables and cleaning . I will definitely revisit next time I am in town.

Standard wetherspoon offering, sadly though we got caught in a fire alarm test, staff didn't remake our food though which was disappointing!

Went today for the Lytham 1940s weekend. I had the Phenomenal gorgeous Big Breakfast, it came piping hot, with delicious coffee s from the refill coffee machine it went down great guns and absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional even when paying for my meal and coffee and even a bit of banter with the bar maid and the waitresses. A very quick service about 15 minutes before my brickie came piping hot. The staff all had exceptional manners extremely friendly Phenomenal customer service skills and friendly banter even the managers. Wow it was a buzzing place the atmosphere with many locals I could overhear as well as a regular visitor like myself and virtually full, with more people coming in as I was leaving and noticed all tables even outside were full this was before dinner time 12 noon. Me and the girlfriends 1 of our favourite pubs on the Fylde Coast. We will be back time and time again, plus all meals are gorgeous her good prices exceptional beers and guest beers, Steak night Tuesday plus Drink and Curry Night and Drink Thurs not to be missed they are gorgeous 😋

Started our day out here for breakfast, 2 adults and an 11 year old. Good choice of food & free hot drink refills. Clean and quick service using the app. We'd go back if we're in the area again. Update July 2023. We've been back, 3 mobile signal poor and their WiFi dropping out lost 10 minutes of food ordering in the app at the payment stage so had to join the queue at the bar. Not the pub's fault but it's their WiFi. Food was good and turned up quickly. We'll be back again but won't bother using the app. August 2024, 1940s weekend. Place was as busy as I've seen a pub but the food & drink were delivered quickly. One of the better Wethers we frequent.

Visited for breakfast this morning and as usual all was great A lady collapsed on the table near us and the member of staff was amazing I think she was called Natasha She sat with the lady and was constantly re assuring her and her husband and was so calm and caring She stayed with them even after the ambulance arrived and then calmly went back to serving people In the pub A real credit to the establishment Well done

Love this place, we go virtually every week (sundays) it is a lovely wetherspoon, clean .I don't know why we like it , we just do. You can Sit out front behind glass or sit out back. Parking not to bad but on roads only. Pay during the week an free saturdays an sundays We don't dine in witherspoons, food not so great,

Great location and great prices

Visited Sunday 20th July. The place was scruffy, unclean, we had to ask for the table to be cleaned, even then it was still unclean and very sticky. The food eventually arrived, merely average, some hot , some cold, tasteless and poor quality. We often visit wetherspoons usually they are good, this place I certainly would not go back to.

We visited over the Festival period and couldn't believe how they coped. The service was brilliant Definitely be back xx

Adequate sums up the food here, its a nice pub in a good location but it smacks of Wetherspoon style fodder. Fish & Chips were okay but nothing spectacular

Love this place one of the best J D pubs I have been to. Enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast and a cup of tea and of course the free refills.

Visiting for the weekend not had food this time but had a drink, visited the ladies toilets an overpowering smell of phoo very dirty no soap yuck . Have you learnt nothing from covid !

Called in for lunch with family and was immediately impressed by the bright and clean decor. The member of staff who served us was attentive and helpful and this paved the way for an excellent meal, two of us had steaks and one had the mixed grill. The steaks aroused comment for their high quality bearing in mind the price which was very reasonable. There was nothing not to like and I shall certainly be returning in the near future.

A Spoons, take sandwiches if you need to visit the upstairs loo through the maze of doors and corridors. Otherwise good value and atmosphere.

Always a good start to the day when I visit the railway good friendly staff and fast service and always with a smile. Food was also very good. Overall good fast friendly service thanks. Just an update on this review my family always come to the railway. The food and the person that served us we're very friendly and genuinely nice. But we ordered a round of drinks. Well my daughter in law ordered a round of drinks and we didn't get them but because she doesn't normally come outwith us or in fact go in the railway at all she then decide to delete the app. after we waited for an hour for our drinks we decided to ask what was going on we was told we didn't order drinks my daughter in law then showed the manager her bank statement on her banking app. He said that he needed to see the history on her app. Well because she had deleted it her history was nothing ordered. Manager said I am not interested in your bank statement and just walked away without another word. Don't think I will be going back. Very bad manager not good service at all

Having recently watched Wetherspoons versus Toby Inns and seeing the result we chose to eat at the Railway. The food order was taken by a totally disinterested girl who we knew would get it wrong by her attitude. My partner ordered a curry and I ordered a sirloin steak with the accompaniments. I was served a weary looking piece of meat, 6 chips and a jug of gravy - alleged to be peppercorn sauce. The steak was totally inedible and the accompanying mushrooms, peas etc had been missed off the order. A member of staff apologised for her mistake, her fourth that shift! He offered to warm the steak up whilst the missing items were brought. This was a shambles from start to finish, even the accompanying drinks were served wrong. We certainly won't be eating here ever again. Sorry Tim.

i enjoyed the Curry Club on the day I went and really enjoyed the Latte. My only concern was that the front entrance had no direction to a disabled access, and as I used a wheeled frame to walk ,I found it difficult and painful to access the steps into the pub and found the up and down steps to get to the toilets really hard work. The pub restaurant was exceptionally clean, all the staff were happy and helpful and their service was lightning fast. I'd appreciate some advice on access ♿ as I'd love to go again.

Worst breakfast ever . Sausages can be seen that are leftover and reheated. Bacon as well very dry and cold. I had to eat a little as very hungry but very disappointed 😞. Never come back here as is not the first time.

Was stood at the bar having a drink and some woman started giving us grief about standing at the bar having a drink. What happens when it’s extremely busy? Does everyone get given grief or just a couple young lads being singled out? The bar is absolutely massive so I clearly didn’t see an issue with it. If I want to stand up with my pint that I’ve bought then I will do. Show me the policy where it says no standing at the bar. Never been to a weatherspoons and that’s happened. I think she just needs to grow up and get off her power trip.

Day out to meet some family, Spoons always value for money...or is it Car park - it has none, pay and display a bit pricey Venue - Good location but right down the main street, but ok walk. Outside - Nice tidy clean beer garden and plenty of tables inside. Staff - very nice and polite, quick service ordered at the bar and on app Food- Came quick, chips warm not hot, the usual chip count was done 14 which is ok, double American cheese burger, lacked in creativity and taste, but hot, I do praise them for the onion rings, very hot and very very good, the chefs banged them in the frier to perfection. No deserts usually Spoons prices. Pizzas ok but not to impressed with them. Drinks- cider, Cokes , standard prices We sat outside in front vert garden watching the firemen polish their engines, very entertaining. Beer garden had rubbish on floor, needs monitoring. Like any weatherspoons, when they are busy it's a mess, but on a Thursday at 3pm it was fine .

Had the mixed grill. Food seemed fine apart from the steak was all gristle . I came down with food poisoning. Spent 2 days and nights on the loo. Thank you for the free extra !¡@@

Ideal location when weather turns wet

We caught the bus from Preston to spend the day in Lytham and couldn't miss having a meal in a Wetherspoon pub. One of my favourite meals now is the half chicken with lemon and herbs, coleslaw and a blue cheese dip, with a choice to accompany it and I chose chips. It was a large piece of chicken and very tender. My husband chose a Chicken Tika Masala Curry served with Rice, a large Naan Bread and Poppadom which he also enjoyed and both included a drink. We only just managed to get a table so were very surprised that we were soon served with our meal.

Excellent. Our first visit as all the usual haunts were packed. Just had a brew and apple crumble and custard to welcome in the New Year.

The food was unedeble, Steak pud, no meat at all in it, and pizza had been microwaved, couldn't even chew it. Drinks okay and staff friendly 💖
