Ruchi Indian Takeaway in Fylde

Ruchi is the best Indian takeaway in Blackpool and my husband and I order from Ruchi about once a week. My husband says his Korma is the best he's ever had and enough for 2 meals when extra chicken is added. My shashlik chicken is sublime, usually have this but sometimes lazeer, also delicious. Consistently superb and very good value for money.

Had a takeaway from here a few times now and never been disappointed, always tasty and not greasy like some others😋 😜 😀

The food was great ,but I got tricked I ordered on line at there website paid and waited but no food !!!rang the shop but got told they don't have a Web site ??I went to the shop to ask for my money back but no joy only cash on delivery I was told ,got no real answer or any sympathy!!didn't give a dam ,so please beware don't order on line or you'll lose you money shamefull behavior 🤔

Went in on Nye the place was packed, and phone orders coming in as well, it took 5 mins to get my food,but an hour for delivery, it's a no brainer if there busy delivery will take a while, so go to the shop instead of moaning and complaining.The food is top drawer never had a bad takeaway from here and big portions and I've been going years.

The best Indian take away we have ever had! We got tikka masala, rice, chips & the tandoori lamb chops. They were amazing, cooked beautifully & very meaty. Everything was perfect.

My £26.40 takeaway was not so good this evening.I rang the shop to ask them not to put tomato in my garlic massala and for a chilli sauce with the pakora instead of the usual one.The man couldnt get me off the phone quick enough but i repeated my request anyhow.So the food came and i had tomato in my massala and did not get the chilli sauce with the pakora.The chillies in my meal and the rice were old with black and brown bits on them.The entire meal was below par so they have now lost my custom.Simples

Got two take aways in 8 days. Fabulous taste great portions well worth trying, Definitely my go to take away.

Had an korma from the squires gate rucchi Indian couple of days ago full of sauce but 4 small bits of chicken good job I had a nan bread to soak the sauce up very disappointed never go back again would never recommend this place

This takeaway is very very reasonably priced which at first worried me, I would say the curries ive been in restaurants have been slightly richer in flavour, but as we know depends on chef, however the taste is lovely, piping hot, great portions, meat was good, had pick up and delivery no nonsense it is what it is, who does a single meal deal for roughly ten pound, will always come back

Been having takeaway from here for a number of years. The food is very good, restaurant quality and the service is very quick. I would highly recommend it.

Used loads of times before and been great, used online order and was an hour and a half, the other people had ardered Chinese which had been delivered and eaten. The delivery driver was told we didn't want the order and he said whatever and left!

Placed an order for delivery, gave the full address including the postcode. We were told it would be within an hour. Over an hour later nothing. We spoke to several members of staff, all extremely rude telling us different stories as to where our food was. Will not be ordering again

The order was 20 minutes late, and then it was wrong when it arrived. It also didn’t come with the sides that it said were included on the website. When I rang back, they said the website was wrong and they would sort it out but the sides would not be sent with the correct order. Food was average at best. I won’t use this place again.

Ordered a takeaway at 6:30 to be delivered at 7:45. Got informed it would be here at 8. Rang at 8:25 and was assured it was on the way. It arrived at 8:55 when it is only a 10 minute drive. Not acceptable At all

Was the closest Indian at the time, never had Ruchi before, ordered on Just Eat. Very pleasantly surprised. I had a chicken korma, pilau rice and a garlic naan. The korma was lovely, actually had flavour, really nice. Rice and naan standard but good. All in all very nice, would definitely have again.

On our holidays in Blackpool, for a treat we had a takeaway.....this read as an ok place, from the reviews, and I must say the food is ok .....obviously never as good as your own local. POINT to note on the web page it says 10% discount if you pick up .... this is not true, when I asked for the discount, they came out with some flim flam and didn’t give me the 10% off.

This is the best Indian takeaway in Marton. They deliver piping hot, delicious food. There's an extensive menu, my favourite is the vindaloo, it's very tasty and not too hot.

Lovely food enjoyed by all the family. Great taste delivered quickly would go again.cant fault the service

Ordered Ruchi family meal deal plus kebabs for our teenage sons, as it’s normally our go to take away restaurant. The last time we ordered my fiancé lamb dish contained about 4 very small pieces of lamb in his meal, and the quality had decreased significantly but at the time we appreciated lamb was expensive but there is no excuse for the takeaway we have just received! The chicken tikka was cut into tiny hard pieces, not the skewered succulent pieces that they are supposed to be. We ordered a passanda and bhuna and they both tasted burnt and bitter, not good at all!!! I’ve eaten rice and Nan bread for my dinner! (Tea). Highly unlikely I’ll be ordering again, not sure if it’s a changed in ownership but definitely a change in quality ingredients!!! Not good.

We ordered a takeaway on their website at 18;38 which should have been delivered at 19:22 at 19:45 we called to ask where our meal was and were told the manager would deliver it in 10 minutes, we called again 20 minutes later to cancel and ask for a refund. The "manager" turned up at 20:35 with the food (too late) and offered us money to take the food but it was too late. We will be seeking a refund and would not advise ordering and paying online. We have used them before and the food was very good.

Had a takeaway delivered Friday and was spot on. The onion bahgis were nice the mixed meat starter was decent and the jalfrezi and chicken tikka were lovely only issue was the rice was a bit mushy would definitely go back again

Go here ever other week me and my boyfriend always get the same thing when we go!!! The kebabs, they’re so good.

I’ve had curry’s from theses guys before and there always and when I say always top shelf but the mix kebab was the first it is something else and it definitely will not be the last 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Food arrived 10mins early which is fine though I did request a time rather then asap so it's a good job I didn't pop out for anything. Delivery driver was nice and polite. Unfortunately, I order chicken in my curry but received lamb which I don't like so had to pick out. An easy mistake to make but definitely put a big dampener on the experience. Food was a little colder than I'd have liked but not unpleasantly so.

This takeaway was disgusting. Ordered a chicken tikka masala and there was barely any chicken in it, the sauce just tasted like a tomato sauce which was very bland. Ordered a chicken kebab and it was tiny , I was still hungry afterwards, there must have only been about 6 pieces of chicken and the naan was also tiny. I would would not order from this place again

we placed our order at 7.30 and were told it would be with us by 8.50, which seemed a bit extreme but we thought maybe it was a worst case scenario. at 8.30 I got a message to say it was out for delivery. . 8.50 came and went so we phoned up to see where it was, the guy we spoke to was very rude and hung up on us mid-sentence! it eventually arrived at 9.25 with no apology or little extras to appease the situation. I would at least expect a quick phonecall to say it was going to be late. needless to say we will not be ordering from there again!

This has got to be the worst Indian I have ever had. For a total of £17.20, we ordered a chicken tikka masala, garlic fried rice, garlic naan bread and a lamb kebab; all of this was thrown in the bin and wasted! The lamb kebab must’ve been the smallest kebab I have ever received in my life. The lamb was both extremely dry and bland. The naan of the kebab and the garlic naan was ridiculously tiny! The chicken tikka masala was as though it had been reheated and it was full of sugar, it had absolutely no taste. Not to mention, the delivery driver was extremely rude and didn’t ring me when he was setting off despite the fact I asked them to do this. I will not be going here ever again, I highly recommend to stay away from this awful place!

very disappointed with Ruchi tonight, ordered food at 7.15pm, delivery time was expected 8.30pm....food never showed! After several calls to them my husband is now on his way there collecting food!

Food was stone cold even the nan was cold. I had to put the food in the microwave and only recieved half portion of mushroom rice. Phoned the resteraunt only for them to say what are we supposed to do about. Terrible food Terrible customer service.

Delivery time was 1hr30. I ordered set meal and picked "Chicken Tikka Main". Didn't specify that was curry and not the chicken Tikka pieces (it was listed directly under the tandoori chicken). The rest of the stuff I ordered was really nice. Just wish the menu specified a little more.

Decided to order as a few friends had recommended the takeaway. Ordered and arrived earlier than expected. However not sure if bad choice but meal wasn't what expected . Lacked flavour, any flavour, it was like eating a stew. Chicken was dry and again no flavour . Won't be trying again which is disappointing.

Excellent quality meat on the special kebab would recommend trying, salad and sauce separate is a great idea also 👍👍👍

I've been to many Indian / Pakistani resturants, and have eaten with top chefs, but I've never come across the kashmiri chicken. It was flavourful and the banana isn't overpowering at all it was silky and a nice change to the regular korma for my children with mild pallets. I haven't left a review before as I wanted to check quality and consistency before I did, but I only order from this place when were in the mood for a curry as its the best quality. Keep up the good work!

It took over 2 hours for the food to be delivered. This is not the first time either, but will definitely be our last order now. Even if they had bad management with deliveries, there was no apology when I called them. Food cold when delivered. Clearly don't care about return custom.

Ordered online and wouldn’t have any other Indian from anywhere else! We order different things each time and they are always cooked fresh and hot. We’ve had everything from the korma to lamb balti, sagg. Popperdoms all the different rices. There’s also plenty of choice for vegetarian as well! Delivery is a ways on time and when I’ve picked up I’ve never waited more than a few mins

WHILE STAYING AT A CARAVAN PARK IN BLACKPOOL WE BOOKED A DELIVERY TO OUR SITE, SERVICE FROM RUCHI WAS BRILL, GOT A PHONE CALL TO SAY THE TIME AND IF POSSIBLE COULD I MEET THE DRIVER AT THE RECEPTION AREA OF THE PARK. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. FOOD WAS BEAUTIFUL CLEAN PLATES ALL ROUND :) THANKS AGAIN FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE 10/10

Though the food was a bit late, it was really good (& from the size of the order, a little delay was not unexpected). The selection is fantastic, everything tastes brilliant & if I want Indian food on the Fylde coast, I go to Ruchi. Can't really recommend more highly.

After we had ordered, the owner phoned us to ask us to pay an extra delivery charge to the driver! I don't have a clue why as we have previously ordered from here and everything's been fine. After we complained about this they just decided not to deliver our food, but told just eat staff we hadn't answered the door. I really don't have a clue why any of this happened but it really messed up our evening as we didn't figure out we weren't getting our meal until hours after it was due to arrive.

we ordered well over an hour ago. it should have arrived at 7:10. then changed to 7:20. it's now 8:00 and still nothing. I rang at 7:30 and a gentleman said it wouldn't be any longer than 10 min. finally arrived at 8:10 and not only was the man rude and didn't apologise. the man also asked for more money after me already paying on card. due to the fact "he didn't realise where the house was?! what?!" lamb chops - charcoal!! rice and naan bread both stone cold! very unhappy 😔

First time ordering from here but it was lovely!! massive portion sizes, next time will order one curry and one rice to share as that would have been plenty , delivered on time and nice and hot when it arrived , would definitely recommend

order 30 minutes late no appology given starter (shami kebab) only 1 pattie - everywhere else you get 2 ! curry main fine.

Checing on live status it had been delivered but this was in accurate as it was delivered 25 minutes later after a phone call...the food was Luke warm and I will never order from them again ..i understand that take outs get busy on a weekend but to falsify a delivery because it was late is unacceptable and has an imoact on there just Eat reviews. Also just Eat need. to look into this ..my partner and I work hard all week and only have take outs now and again it may prove that even after a hard week at work making your own food is more rewarding and truthful...it just proves that these take outs are out to just make money although there are exceptions .

The best Indian takeaway in Marton, good portion sizes, extensive menu including various specials. My favourite is the VERY HOT Naga Special.

Went for the Rogan Josh tonight, gorgeous, authentic spices, not too hot, just right. Garlic rice was very good, everything was perfect once again.

Today it was poor, incredibly poor.

This has got to be the best Indian in Blackpool. Cannot fault any of the meal we had. Would not to go any other Indian again. Authentic and what's more they have a 5 star hygiene rating.

Not really the best Indian but a good just average grade curry but nothing really to shout about but for convienience was okay delivery time was a bit slow considering how close they are to me but nothing to write home about all things considered

Food was OK, the customer service was appalling. They forgot a peshwari naan with the order, then told me "I will give it to you next time"... Stated I wanted it ASAP for my meal, it never arrived. Ridiculous service.

I ordered for pick up because it was the quicker option (20 min instead of the 40 for delivery) but once the order was placed the restaurant added and extra 10 min, when i got there they hadnt even started cooking and had no idea about my order despite the order receipt already been printed. They were very rude and told me to wait another 10 mins no apologies from the staff, only of the delivery driver who was standing there.. Anyway 20 min later and it was ready, no apologies again, was hoping theyd offer a slight discount or maybe throw in a can of coke but nothing. Very dissapointed with the service here, will not be eating here again and will warn others.

Waited 45 minutes we got cold soggy greasy chips. Inedible chicken nuggets and the kebab on nann bread was cold...

Was rang by Ruchi to say the selections of the set meal I ordered was a combination that shouldn't have been allowed despite being on Justeat AND on the paper menu that came with the meal. Tried to charge me extra money and wouldn't back down. I decided to change the selection instead despite being right as there was obviously no point arguing with sheer ignorance. Not the first time they've done this blaming Justeat for being wrong

Great Food! Forgot one item; phoned up and re-delivered straight away. Quick delivery, it beat the estimate.
