Booked last minute Friday , welcoming, atmosphere great service. Staff great

The food was absolutely beautiful really worth waiting for. We got told when we ordered there would be a little wait as they had two big table bookings in. We got given a free drink due to the wait. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Ample parking surrounded by fields with Blackpool Tower peeking out in the distance. The interior is country pub style, comfortable and clean. The staff were instantly welcoming and accommodating. We chose to sit outside as the sun was shining, ordered at the bar from the varied menu. Ordered the Chicken Cow mein and the Chicken, leek and bacon pie which came with homemade chunky chips. The Chow mein was full of flavour, hot and the chicken was cooked well. The Pie was warm full of flavour and not outfacing. After dinner we sat on the bean bags which were very comfortable and sitting in the evening sun we chatted the night away. An extremely pleasant evening. We hope to go back very soon. My only suggestion would be to have tables and chairs outside as apposed to picnic benches.

Stopped in for a nice pint of real ale only to find they didn’t have any. All hand pumps were unused. Such a shame.

The Millers Arms has become our regular meeting place for our committee meetings and we have been very kindly welcomed as a group. The team at the Millers Arms are always friendly, polite and helpful. We all eat before our meeting and this is often around ten meals served at the same time. We have not had one complaint or issue with the food or service. Last night I ordered a hanging chicken kebab, it was cooked to perfection 10/10. Great pub in a lovely village location.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service is second to none. The food speaks for its self and the portion sizes are huge. Hellnthe even do Cruz Campo beer on tap. Brilliant evening will definitely be back. Thanks.

Been there today for my birthday staff absolutely brilliant food top tosh can't fault it at all ...my first visit was when my gran took me when I was 11 years old brought back lovely memories...can highly recommend this place

Was out out for a meal with my wife on Monday 8th April. Was one of the nicer meals we have had out for a long time I had T bone steak as a treat cooked perfectly My wife had fish plater Was brilliant that was after a starter of mussels and chicken bites.The service was excellent. The place was spotless could not fault it at all .Thanks for giving us a great time out .we will definitely be back maybe when the weather gets a little warmer so could sit outside in the garden.

Ate in the Greedy Badger restaurant part of the Millers. Love the decor of the restaurant, has a lovely feel to it, and the service is very good. Shame it's not busier. Was a little disappointed with the food though. Calamari starter didn't seem home made, and beef in the pie was very tough, chips luke warm and another dish similar. Shame.

Great Food. Good service. Allow dogs which is great. Highly recommended. July 11th. New branding, new menu. Food offered was different from the normal pub style. All the better for that. Food was delicious. Well presented. Great staff. Will definitely be back. Been back today Feb 10. Changed menu was interesting. Everyone enjoyed it. Service is not quick because of fresh cooking but worth waiting for. Not as cheap as some but price reflects the style of cooking and the generous portions. Will definitely be back.

What a great place. Friendly, lovely surroundings, great food. I hope they don't change the look of the place too much during refurb, as I love the little hidden areas you can sit in. Brilliant place.

Went with friends for our Christmas Meal get together and I must say it was the best Christmas Meal I’ve had eating out .Three courses all served by lovely friendly staff who looked after us all evening topping up our drinks and delivering our meals piping hot.Thank you all for a lovely festive time.

Decided to call back to this lovely friendly country pub for Sunday dinner and wasn’t disappointed my wife and I both decided to have the turkey and wasn’t disappointed all fresh veg homemade Yorkshire pudding and the turkey was lovely and moist great value for money 👍

I drove past here today and was hoping to finally call in for food. Unfortunately, just before going in I decided to check on their food hygiene ratings only to find that the most recent inspection( Nov 2023) was still a 1 star,exactly the same as after the inspection back in January. So no improvement at all since the first inspection,certainly not the major improvements required at both visits. So sadly I won't be risking my health here,but I'll keep watching the ratings in the hopes someone takes notice and gets their systems up to par.

Amazing food and friendly service. We waited for food but didn't mind and kindly got a round of free drinks! She wouldn't let us leave a top but just leave a review...but guaranteed in our next visit we will make up for it. Food was amazing. Thank you so much Marie x

Lovely place with a cosy feeling. The team there were friendly and accommodating to all of us. Only small gripe was that the food was not as hot as we would have hoped. But all in all a good place.

Not impressed. Had a BLT sandwich, the bread was toasted but so hard it scatched the top of my mouth. The belly pork was not good either, the dip was like watered down gravy. Expected better so will not be back.

Came to this pub tonight on the off chance and the food and atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and the pub is dog friendly. Will visit again.

Food was horrible, I ended up leaving it. It took forever to be served with staff walking around doing nothing. And a pie is enclosed in pastry not just a stew with a pastry top. Will never eat here again. 2 hour wait for food I had no choice but to leave.

Just popped in as passing, quiet friendly pub, I had the chicken, leek & ham chowder, very creamy, said it had new potatoes and veg in it, but I couldn't find any but atleast there was alot of chicken in it not supplemented with too much veg tho. My partner had the same but in a pie with all the veg and wedges. By 5pm it was filling up with locals. Could imagine it would be packed at the weekend, the restaurant part is large.

Absolute joke of a place. Booked a table for a birthday meal, confirmed by messenger, got there on the night and the kitchen was closed. The clueless staff had no idea who had messaged me. I give it six months tops.

Trip out for lunch found us here.Quiet perhaps only six in which didn't do much for the atmosphere, the food though made up for it, all four of us enjoying both courses with no room for pudding. The staff were lovely not too attentive but there if you wanted anything. All washed down with a couple of pints of white which ale all in all a good way to spend an afternoon

Well talk about a hidden gem. I last visited the Millers arms as it was a few years back with a friend who was taking me to look for my first car. When I say a few I actually mean around 1987 really it just seems like a few years. Anyway 11 of us visited tonight 9th August 23 on what turned out to be a very delightful chatty evening with some of the best and largest portions of food we have had in a while. The staff were superb and could not do enough for you the food was amazing and if what we had was anything to go by I would recommend any thing on the menu. The pork belly starter was a total revelation never seen such an amazing portion and the quality well mmm. Ribs anyone they are superb and what a portion as for the mixed grill best I have had in a very long time almost talked myself into a lamb burger but as others ordered the mixed grill had to change mine out to avoid food envy. Anyway sorry the photos don’t do the food justice I have written a note to self to also take starter photos next time as we were so excited when they arrived we scoffed the lot even the 2 rib and pork belly share platters we ordered. Go to go now I’m about to slip into a food coma and have to sleep it all off and dream of when we are going back. Thanks for a great evening Miller Arms.

Stopped here for a bite to eat , lovely food , staff were very friendly , left my phone there (stupid me !!) But called them and was behind the bar waiting for me phew ! great place , great staff , 10/10 guys your doing a great job !!

Had the steak sandwich, perfectly cooked and the quality of the steak was very high. I will definitely be back for another one.

Ordered a steak sandwich which was so undercooked it was completely raw. I did order rare, but this was raw and cold. I complained about being served cold raw meat and the waiter just took the food to show the chef who returned saying it was cooked correctly and that I should have ordered medium rare. No offer to cook it further or replace. I’ve had rare steak at 100s of other places and never been served raw meat before. The dish would have been nice if the steak was actually cooked. On a side note: the music in there needs to be filtered, the tracks that were playing contained offensive language that were not suitable for a family establishment. Very disappointment to be honest and won’t be retuning. On a positive note, my wife enjoyed the fish sandwich so it’s not all bad I suppose.

We visited the Miller after a funeral. The buffet was ok, sandwiches, chips, lasagne, croquettes & salad. Nothing special, but welcome nevertheless. Lovely barmaid, & nice room to gather & eat in.

Stayed overnight in our camper. Had a gorgeous meal outside the pub, served by lovely friendly staff. Interior of pub was lovely and also very clean. On our list for future overnight stays in the area, definitely recommend

Delicious Sunday lunch, very kind, friendly staff.

The pub was having a few difficulties after a cellar flood so a few things on the menu weren't available, having said that, the staff were fantastic and attentive and the food that we ordered was delicious. I would definitely go again.

Had Sunday roast, plate came swimming in gravy ,was awful tasting ,did not acompliment the Lamb ,every thing was dry and reheated ,the mixed green veg looked like mush ,best thing on the plate was the cold cauliflower lol 😆 Expected better 🫣

A good venue for a large family crowd on Mother's Day. We were well looked after, and the added bonus of dog friendly was much appreciated. Friendly and pleasant staff.

Tried eating here after hearing it had changed hands but sadly we weren't impressed. Some of the meat was undercooked and the rest came out so quick, it could only have been microwaved. Generally the place needs a good clean as well, there was dust everywhere which was less country pub charm and more just bordering on dirty. Staff were very nice and a good selection of beers but unfortunately would not return.

Firstly, the pub is stunning and beautiful atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant area. Sadly our starter took over 45 minutes to come out, though the land lady was very kind and removed drinks from the bill to accommodate. The chips are stunning! Loved them. Just a shame about the rest of the food. I thought it was pretty bland and lacked seasoning and flavour especially given the cost.

Went here for a family meal. Waiting staff were wonderful, even when my folks told her the same story four times!! The food was lovely- nice sized portions and well priced. My parents said that the steaks were some of the best they've had for ages and my sisters lamb Henry nearly made me quit being a vege! My only feedback would be more vegetarian options.

Great food and atmosphere, a little pricey I would recommend the bar menus instead of the restaurant menus. But the food is really goosed, worth the visit.

We went for Christmas Dinner and the whole day was fabulous, although there have been negative comments about there being staff short I can honestly say it was a fabulous day with fabulous food. Lee and Julie and the staff were excellent and as per usual the food was awesome. See you soon

We went for Christmas lunch yesterday... I've got to say we were very apprehensive about going after the bad reviews last year but thought as it was under new management etc we would give it a go. Unfortunately it took a long time to get served, we arrived at 1pm but did not get our starters until 2.30pm and it was gone 3.30pm before we got our mains. I appreciate the two waiters who were constantly on the go, working hard and had given up their Christmas day to work but I feel the fault is with the management as more staff were needed. We had to leave as we had arrangements with other family so did not get the dessert. For over £400 we expected better, apart from crackers on the table there was no other table decorations and no music. We won't be returning but just want to end by thanking the waiters for doing their best under the poor management organisation.

I've had a phenomenall experience from the majority of the staff specifically Chris. Great employee. One of the biggest problems was from Georgia . EXTREMELY poor customer service. No training what so ever. UNBELIEVABLE from a corporate point of view. This company should not be tainted by one bad employee.

We booked for the restaurant only to find the restaurant is separate from the Millar Arms and that only The Millars Arms section is dog friendly. Food from the restaurant cannot be bought and consumed from the dog friendly areas. Very disappointed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating though. We had a starter with chips and it was very nice but not the special meal we had planned for.

Changed hands since we last went in, unfortunately not for the best, food ok to good but expensive, menu choice very poor, a few items from a limited menu not available. Young girl waitress was really nice and helpful, however overall service and wait was below expectations. Finally you need to turn some lights on inside and out and put a coin in the heater, to conclude we won't be coming back, sorry for negative review but just being honest

Very welcoming, dog friendly, traditional country pub. The food prices are a little on the high side (£20 for lamb Henry and £15 for chilli con carne) but the food was hot and tasty and we enjoyed it. The place was dead on a Saturday night, which were couldn't understand but this place is recommended

Would not return. Expensive for what was very poor service and food. There are better places to eat and drink and the emptiness on a Sunday afternoon seemed to indicate people knew this.

Lovely country pub in a pretty location. Had a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. It was quite quiet mid week, but the management are new and I'm sure they'll do well as they have the right attitude. They only had one option on the menu for vegetarians, but they went out of their way to go off menu and make my friend her own individual homemade cheese pie. My friend, being vegetarian, is an expert on cheese and onion pies and she said it was by far the nicest she'd had. ( moving forward, they said they are adding to their veggie menu) Will be going again.

This is a nice pub local to the area. You can tell by the relaxed atmosphere this place is attended by locals. They had a good selection of drinks, largest, beers and a good choice of food menu options. I did enjoy the food - the highlight being the home made chips with rock salt. I wasn’t too sure about the halloumi burger, the bun was slightly over toasted and the toppings (onions, lettuce, tomato) had obviously been pulled straight out of a cold fridge - I’m not a huge fan of ‘hot toppings’ and very ‘cold toppings’ mixed in this way (plus the bordering burned bread). Staff did ask about our thoughts mid way through the meal and offered to replace the burned burger. Staff were kind and friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place and would visit again - (although wouldn’t have another burger…)

We've just had an overnight stay here in our motorhome on the large level car park at the rear. The food was excellent as was the beer, wine and the bar staff. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Felt the manager tried his best here. I heard he was not well. Staff need training to a good standard. Chef. The food ok but could be a lot better. Its all down to good management. Will try again in the future.

Venison burger for the win! We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing quality of the meal and fantastic service. We chose to eat here as we drove past. It proved to be a great decision. If you enjoy great pub food that is not too expensive than this is a good choice.

Walked out without even eating, place was filthy and smelt of damp. so many things on the menu unavailable. No beer only larger or cider available. Told it was closing in 2 weeks for new owners, it needs to close and quickly. First visit and last.
