The best restaurants in Cheshire East North West

We came in for a birthday meal. When we got back home within 4 hours later, all 3 of us came down with terrible sickness and diarrhoea and generally feeling unwell. We phoned up the following day to raise the concern as obviously was poor food hygiene! The gentleman denied everything without apologising it has happened. He said we have inspection every year (what once a year) doesnt prove he is going by the standards on all the other days! He blamed it on the birthday cake that I had, which was well in date and only myself had a slice that night, that doesnt explain the reason why the other 2 members of the party was ill. He expected me on the same day of feeling ill to come in and sort it out when neither of us 3 could be away from the toilet for long! Wanting proof on the bill and to see the cake box. Surely he must have the receipt on system! Still no apology by the end of the call and he couldn't get off the call quick enough. After years of eating at Fina and enjoyed eating there, the food quality has definitely gone downhill, it wasn't enjoyable. The staff kept pestering asking if we wanted anything else when several times they asked, we said no thank you. Trying to get more money from us. I would really consider what you order when going here. We wouldn't be visiting again.

First visit to the Hanging Hate Inn. The pub itself looks great. The views are fantastic. The two ladies who served me were very friendly, polite and had a laugh. Great service! Ideal country inn to call after a walk. Dogs are allowed in the outside area but not inside which considering the small inside space is totally understandable. Highly recommend the beautiful inn.

We called in as family group. We were made very welcome, despite being a large group with babies. Food & drinks were great.

Fab little wine bar and great food

Visited today and received appalling service, firstly by a waitress and then by the actual owner ….. we had an issue with one of our meals, mainly offering feedback but was met with a very rude attitude which left us all shocked ! The owner particularly didn’t want to know that any of his food was unacceptable and was unreasonable in his response saying eventually he just didn’t care and walked away. We found this astonishing and would never return or recommend!

Oh my goodness what an amazing find! Lunchtime - lasagna was simply divine! Meatballs - delicious! Food piping hot and the taste was just the best! Didn’t want the dish to end as so delicious. Definitely recommend and will be returning! Coffee also very nice!

Best Curry in Crewe and Nantwich… Do you want posh decor or the best food at a great price ? Simple answer for me… plus the added bonus of take your own alcohol ( if you want to of course ) I’ve been many many times and never had good food… Always Great food.

Celebrating my wife’s birthday with my two children. We had such a nice meal and were felt welcome from the start with Florin looking after us. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend the sharing plates

We went to the flower pot pub last year when we where on holiday from Australia and again several weeks ago while visiting again and enjoyed our meals that were served with friendly smile and very professional service. As a result it was a very special day for us today being my mother in laws 100th birthday today so we came back for a birthday Sunday lunch. The service was the same as before with the excellent meals and service, on leaving, to top it off my mother in law was presented with a bottle of bubbly, which was a lovely surprise and she was so pleased Once again we would like to thank you for a very special day and would like to recommend The Flower Pot for any occasion. Had a wonderful night her Friday through til Saturday. Celebrating husbands birthday. The staff were fabulous, friendly and super helpful. They made us feel welcome and helped celebrate hubby's birthday lovely little touches to our stay. The food was delicious! The room was gorgeous. The breakfast was also lovely, fresh and beautifully cooked. Clean and reasonably priced. Thank you The Merlin for everything! Treasured memories of a lovely birthday night away.
