Great pub lunch menu, very quite and great service

Do not visit. Rude staff who make you feel uncomfortable for having a good time. Avoid.

Super pub that offers accommodation. Bed and room are very comfortable . Ideal for a base to explore Cheshire. Tatton park, house and Gardens are a beautiful walk away from the angel. Highly recommended.

A nice pub where you can also eat well. I can't say anything about the rooms because I haven't lived there yet.

Lovely stay in Knutsford at the Angel at King Street. Great central location. Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Parking a few minutes walk away to nearest carpark. Breakfast station in the hallways to grab cereal, fruit or croissants. Lovely pub also

Today we booked Sunday lunch and we're not disappointed the service was excellent and the guitar solo was great Dominic was fabulous we can highly recommend this establishment it was great

Good pub, does what it says on the tin.

Hmm not bad really, no basket of treats left outside our room as mentioned and no cold running water in our room which really annoyed me as i was parched form the heavy drinking. The family orientated pub was packed continuously throughout the day so never got a chance to have a drink in there which isn't their fault i guess. Though the staff were nice on arrival there wasn't any chance to say bye To leave any kind of review just hang up the key which is not an issue too but it's always nice to say bye.

Old hotel full of charm, with creaky floors. Very warm welcome. The only downside is the absence of breakfast.

The food is good at the pub We had pie and sunday roast. It was perfectly good. No service charges

Just bang average.....had higher hopes after reviews, pics etc . A little tatty n tired in places an stopped serving food really early on However, Excellent location for the town, good selection of beers an pretty quiet night's sleep in a comfy bed. Bit pricey as well considering no cooked breakfast, oh an only a warmish shower....

Went in this afternoon, ordered risotto - it was cold, rice was frozen!!! Asked them to heat it, they politely heated the frozen rice and served it hot. Paid £13 for a frozen risotto!! Not a place if you looking to eat freshly cooked meals.

We went for a birthday meal here and the food was lovely. The 2 course offer is great value and includes a drink too. Staff were also friendly and accommodating.

Holts pub in centre of Knutsford. Fairly standard chain fayre. Sports screens available.

Good food at keen prices! Good service too it nice surroundings. Plenty of choice on the menu -from deals on small plates to just main courses .

Fabulous food and friendly warm welcome. Had a great Sunday dinner hear today, was really tasty and generous portion sizes. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of champagne. Perfect Sunday with friend after a walk round tatton park

Decent boozer and food nice friendly staff always good fun in there

Group consensus for a Friday after work pint. Range of beers, not great. Service, fine. Food snack plate, good. Toilets, excellent. Music, choice ok, quality of speakers poor! Parking, good for Knutsford. Atmosphere good. More of a food based pub than beer, I think I enjoyed it more than the others. We've added it to our rota but something lacking, but one 90 minute visit is a snapshot, so will update next time. Combined review 6/10 so 3 stars in Google language.

It's about the only place in knutsford that has good beer and isn't full of orange people from cheshire.

The Angel is in a fabulous location the main street in Knutsford. The room was standard quite dusty and very squeaky floor boards so we was reluctant to move around the room early in the morning incase we disturbed other guests. The service was very swift on arrival but as the pub only served cask or Ipa so we didn't use the public house. Breakfast was delivered to our door, a complementary one but food was served in the pub so unsure why a cooked breakfast wasn't an option?

They've changed the menu here (and increased the prices) and we don't like it as much as the previous one! Who really wants garlic buttered green beans with a cheese & onion pie? And where have the delicious garlic mushrooms in blue cheese sauce disappeared to from the starters? Luckily, we were able to customise our meals slightly, but we left slightly disappointed. Nevertheless, our meals were tasty and the service was good, and it's still decent value for money compared to most other places in Knutsford.

The Angel is always a great place to eat out. The staff are friendly and helpful. Along with the Lord Eldon, it is one of the few places left in Knutsford, which you can call a proper pub.

Lovely food and great atmosphere

Just a quick visit to Knutsford for the day. Finished with a late lunch at the Angel. A good deal: 2 courses and a drink for about £20 each. Table service, which was unexpected as I was about to go up to the bar. Staff very nice. Got a table by the window so I could avoid being distracted by the huge TV showing yesterday's football. Overall enjoyed the food (the pint of IPA was a little featureless but my partner enjoyed her house red) tasty and filling.

Lovely food. Order was slightly wrong but was resolved. We waited a while to order and then a while to pay. I think they were understaffed and it was new years day so understandable. Food was great, they had a lovely kids menu. Nice atmosphere in a nice location.
