Went for lunch on our wedding anniversary and experienced superb food, excellent service, excellent value! Extremely pleased!

Our most local food venue and favourite steakhouse. Been several times, last for my hubby's birthday and never had a bad steak yet. Service is good given how busy they get, sure sometimes things slow up but that's normal everywhere you go that's busy

Visiting Crewe with my wife we decided to take an early lunch at Miller and Carter. Our choice of restaurant being influenced by an earlier experience at the Telford outlet. Receiving a warm greeting from Reception we were shown to our table by David, who was to be our server throughout the meal. The Fixed Price Menu seemed to meet our needs and we ordered starters of salt and pepper calamari and sticky chipotle chicken. The main course being two 7 oz Rump steaks, one served with a mixed salad and the other with onion loaf, tomato, and seasoned fries. Drinks comprised a glass of a very pleasing South African merlot and a Fevertree tonic water. The meal met with our expectations and the steaks (cooked medium) had just the right degree of pinkness. The dishes were well prepared, nicely presented, and the steaks in particular were full of flavour. Competitively priced at £16.25 per head for a 2-course lunch, or £19.25 if wanting a dessert, we thought it represented very good value for money. The restaurant gave out a pleasant ambience and the spacious seating ensured comfort in just the right setting. Mention should also be made of the washroom facilities which were as to be expected. Having spent a good number of years in Hospitality Management I could not fault our young attendant David, who we both thought performed his tasks to a high standard. Happy to recommend.

Food cooked to high standard but lack of staff was obvious. There was a lot of sitting and waiting. We waited a while before being able to even order our drinks, something we have never experienced before. Our waitress, Leah, was great, but she was the only waitress to look after several guests.

Terrible tasting Seabass, not fresh, overcooked, our friends steak was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside, cooked from too cold, best thing was the bread. Most dissapointing and overpriced food we’ve had in years. Never again!

Absolutely terrible, who is the chef? Why would you serve iceberg lettuce covered in sauce instead of veg I suppose because it’s easy no cooking involved. Very expensive meal . There’s a silly system of choosing different suggestions which takes ages for them to explain. Now I know why it was dead.

Really looking forward to our relaxing boxing day meal . How wrong we were. first of all they had changed the soup ! Then for mains no lamb ! So we had the turkey Xmas Dinner which was awful 😖 cold gravy , dog ends crispy ( dry ) turkey, Rock hard sprouts and soggy roast potatoes . As for dessert stone cold xmas pudding!!! Absolutely disgusted in miller and carter. Top price money for bottom rate food . Never will I part with my hard earned cash again with these cowboys 🤠

Perhaps I was expecting too much for a steak house to deliver a traditional Christmas Day lunch……. it was dreadful, completely tasteless, sprouts that could break teeth ( I don’t mean al dente I’m talking rock solid and uncooked) and as much flair and presentation as a cold school dinner. I had to ask for cranberry sauce which was not offered and when it arrived, it was in the tiniest of pots … I’ve seen larger thimbles! The Christmas pudding wasn’t bad but one course out of three is not acceptable. I didn’t complain at the time as it was Christmas Day and I didn’t want to make a bad situation worse and embarrass guests by drawing attention to the dreadful food. It was £90 per head, a fair price for a decent lunch but for a dreadful meal, a complete rip off. The staff were friendly and the manager, without asking, changed our table as he could see my aunt had mobility issues, which was considerate and really helpful. However, we were there for food and the food was dreadful. We could not wait to pay and leave. Money wasted.

Food and Service good- Prices increases have called an end to any future visits. the food is always well prepared but with rib-eye 12 ounce steak now £32.00 time to call it a day and eat else where.

We visited on a Friday night. Steaks were excellent, as was the service received - thank you Jasmine! Main meals and desserts were all delivered quickly The meal was delicious but expensive at £160 for three of us. A place for a special occasion, not for just a Friday night dinner

Wednesday Date Night. No Special Menu. Top Prices. £70.30 2 x steaks with 1 drink. Ordered a medium rare Sirloin Steak my partner Rib Eye medium. Meals arrived and I cut into my steak immediately. Cold. Raw. I called a waiter over immediately. It was recooked. However, by the time I received it my Date had finished? Surely they know how to cook a Steak? Right! They said Sorry but it’s not good enough. My Date asked for Discount on the spoilt evening. NO WERE NOT ALLOWED. So guys I’m voting with my feet. Hickory’s Gresty Green in future.

Been here a few times now. Only ever eaten off the lunch time menu but been pleasantly satisfied both times. Very good value 3 courses for under £20.

The welcome and Service provided by Patryk was excellent. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The food quality was good, but the steaks were under cooked, and the onion loaf was cold, the fries were lukewarm.

Ordered a take away but it came incomplete. Contacted the restaurant who were utterly disinterested and unhelpful. The lady kept repeating that she couldn’t help and that we should contact deliveroo. Even though it was her fault that the order was passed to delivroo incorrectly. She wouldn’t give us our money back or arrange for the order to be completed. She even played the how dare u talk to me like that just because she was unable to offer a suitable solution. My advice - wait a few months until a new customer focussed manager starts - it’s inevitable- before you attempt what we did

For my partner to say that was the best steak he'd tasted is something else...food was lovely, cocktails so easy to drink & the atmosphere was warm Anaras was very polite & attentive...definitely go again

Came for my Grandad’s birthday, Aivaras was great and wasn’t overbearing. Attended all of our needs and made special touches for the occasion. We had a great time!

The food was amazing! We both had a scallop and chorizo starter. My husband had a burger and fries and said it was the best burger he had ever eaten. There was also a pot of gravy with it, which he said was great! He’s really fussy and doesn’t give compliments lightly, so it must have been good! I had salmon, which was delicious . We live in south east England and are disappointed that this place isn’t a lot nearer to where we live!
