Food was great, service was fab

We ordered a takeaway tonight and it was very poor. Onion bhajis clearly not made today, burnt and tough. I asked for salad and dip on the phone but none was provided. The chicken jalfrezi had little to no sauce which was very oily. We won’t be making this mistake again. If you charge top prices, the food needs to be top quality and it far from that. Extremely disappointed.

Ordered through Just eat at 7:15pm. Estimated delivery time 8:15-8:35. Just eat App said it was delivered at 8:20pm. It wasn’t. Tried to call restaurant 30 times but got engaged tone every single time. Raised refund request with Just eat. Charged £7.50 for delivery that took nearly 3 hours!! Food finally turned up at 10pm as we were going to bed as we have 2 young children. I can’t believe they even bothered to try and deliver it that late. It’s a shame as the food is good but the service is absolutely abysmal. This is the 2nd time this has happened.

Stayed 2 nights in late December. Comfy room and exceptionally polite and helpful staff. My wife left her treasured pillow behind and they posted it back next day also refusing payment we offered. Would definitely stay again.

Just returned from a weekend visit to arnside , after a great sunny Saturday round walk up to arnside knott( amazing views across morcambe bay and the Kent estuary ) , then round far arnside , stopped at the bob in cafe on the way back to arnside , great place , fantastic food , great place to chill , great views next to the estuary , well worth a visit , went back both Sunday and Monday as we enjoyed it so much ,coffee and food excellent every time , keep up the good work guys , we will be back .

Purchased two Cod and Chips. On the credit side the fish was cooked fresh but the chips were soggy and definitely not fresh. That was a big let down.

My partner and i Went with our daughter and son in law and grandson (3yrs) service was excellent food was amazing and portion sizes are fab we had poppadoms and starters and mains and you practically had to roll us out of there. The food was so fresh and tasty and the waiter took the time to explain what the dishes were and answered all our questions can't wait to come back to Carlisle to visit again

Told server I wanted the fish and chips for £10.50 (according to their website I know expensive but it usually is nice) was told it was £10.90 queried this and was made to feel a pratt by a guy wearing a top with chris on even though his name is jack who showed me his phone linked to the website and told me the price i stated was wrong in front of everyone in the shop paid for the meal and got home 5 min drive away opened box tasted cold chips and a not so fresh fish (maybe because i complained about the price in shop compared to the website

I just had an absolutely brilliant burger here, and my daughter loved her chicken tenders and milkshake too. Great food, the service was really fast and laid back, matching the comfy casual ambience of the restaurant perfectly, with excellent tunes throughout. A*, 10/10! Ps Google is a bit naff for guiding to the door, and there are currently major works on the path outside, but persevere and you will be rewarded...

I don’t usually leave feedback for Subway, but I had to give a shoutout to the incredibly patient guy who served us today. We were on our way back from Scotland and looking for something healthy to eat. This particular Subway is conveniently located right off the motorway, making it a perfect snack stop. There was a young lad and a younger (ginger) assistant working behind the counter—sorry, didn’t catch their names. They were both doing a great job keeping up with the orders… until we showed up and caused a bit of chaos! The older guy was impressively patient. While his younger colleague—who seemed to be in training—was still putting together my sub for a while, he had already managed to sort out three other customers for their breads, etc. You could tell it had been a long day, but he stayed focused, multitasked like a pro, and even remembered my order while helping train the other staff. Massive respect to him—I really hope you go far. Thanks for sorting us out and doing it all with such calm and professionalism.

Great place for a quick bite to eat but can be busy on evenings!
