Munchy box has good variety and decent amount of each thing but just a touch too salty

Food is lovely, however if you order the special fried rice which is priced around £8.50 they will only fill the container 1/2 -3/4 full to fit in the gravy. This makes this a massively overpriced dish for the amount of food you get. Why not just put a small tub of gravy on the side??

swimming in Salt. for the money was mainly chips n bits if fried gristle. don't recommend. bad quality.

The gravy was spilt leaving all the tubs messy and the chip bag was split wich was awful!!!!

First time I've ordered from here nic clean will deffo use again the potion size was great

was told food was ready to collect at 20-40. I rang the shop to say I wanted it delivered as I am not well. Rang again at 21-00 and was told it was on it's way. it's now 21-33 and no sign of it, shop is only 5 mins away. not happy even if it comes now it will be stone cold

Food was late, order was made at 18:24 estimated delivery window was 19:30-1950. Still waiting. Called the restaurant and was told it’s on its way…. Still waiting. Do not recommend delivery from these. Not sure what the food will be like still waiting. Shocking still waiting.

The food was late and cold. Our food had been dropped on the pavement, about a third of our chips were on the floor. Some of our containers were cracked. We didn't receive our prawn crackers. Portion size was small, smaller than usual.

I only live 2 mins down the road so i collect my food, so I cant comment on the delivery services. Since we discovered it, it's our go to place for a quick scran. They do a banging munchies box which is dirt cheap for the variety and what you get 👌 Give it a go if you've not already.

Ordered special fried rice chips and was asked if I wanted gravy .Well it wasn't like any gravy I've had before a big blob of black goowy mess all over my meal .couldn't eat it .was the worst meal I've ever had from the Chinese. Phoned up to complain .the lad said its def gravy I said its def not he said he didn't know what to say and apologised. £20 in the bin never again will I use this chinese .but I will report the place !!

Foods great if you love a good Chinese special cow mien is the goto for me absolutely amazing would recommend

Very bland needs more flavour, also three small spring rolls as a starter for 5.99 is way too expensive , this used to be a very tasty Chinese at a reasonable price , now very bland expensive food

Awful. Ordered at 7pm - it stated 30 mins delivery which then changed to 8:30pm. They then closed off the order as delivered and at 9:05pm it still hadn't arrived!

So much salt could hardly eat it , won’t be returning

Not the best bland chowmein. chicken and fried rice the same even the curry sauce tasted bad .Tasted like they used basic cheap ingredients chowein was just chicken noodles and onions.price was nearly £22 so not cheap I expected better .The only good point was the lovely polite young man serving .

The food arrived piping hot which was an excellent start. The quality of the food was excellent, the flavours were all well balanced and the sauces enhanced the main product instead of overpowering it. The sweet and sour prawns Hong Kong get a special mention. Will definitely order from here again.

I used the voucher from Vodafone when I placed this order (my first order) but the discount was not included and I was charged full price. Came on time for a change but probably cause it came straight out the microwave. Blandest Chinese I’ve ever had, ordered shredded chicken and got chicken goujons. Even the prawn crackers were clart. Worst Chinese in Carlisle.

Although food was delivered early the best I can say is that it was very average nothing to make it stand out and no Hoison sauce with Duck Pancakes.

Chips were reheats and were uneatable, food was cold chicken fu young was tasteless,no rice with the sweet and sour and spending £22 odds( not including delivery) and no free prawn crackers. Can't see me using or recomending this chinise in the future

Was sent a beef Chow Mein instead of a Duck Chow mein as I ordered

Hardly any chicken in the chowmein I asked fr extra chicken and no veg and there was more veg then anything

The order was an hour late and stone cold. I’m sure it would have tasted great but I didn’t eat it. Then the restaurant refused to refund with a message “we hope you enjoyed your meal”. Not good I’m afraid.

I specifically asked for normal fried rice with nothing else but rice but they gave me egg fried rice instead , my sister ended up having an allergic reaction due to her egg allergy

disgusting meals and sent to wrong address and no chip with the meals. phoned and was told they would be sent up. Still waiting 2 hours later won't ever use this disgusting place ever again

Travelled 6 miles both ways they gave us the wrong order, phoned up and went back another 6miles each way not even an apology or offer of a refund. Won’t be using them again when we got the correct order it wasn’t even that good, they are lucky that 1star is the least you can give.or it would have been lower.

£9 for a portion of Duck with no sauce dried up rice and the pineapple batter was Soggy and went in the Bin i would Demand a FULL REFUND if i was in a restaurant the LOT would have gone Back to the kitchen . Awfull .

Never had a bad meal from Lucky 8! But tonight’s was amazing; everything so fresh & piping hot! Only thing that’s slightly annoying is the prices are so much more expensive on JE then on FoodHub!

with no fault of the restaurant just found out im being ripped off by just eat . food hub king prawn curry 6.80 fried rice 2.80 curry sauce 2.00 prawn crackers 2.00 delivery 1.70 just eat king prawn curry 8.99 fried rice 3.99 curry sauce 2.99 prawn crackers 2.99 delivery 2.50 total food hub 15.33 just eat total 22.16 . so just eat you can whistle in future will not be ordering with you again , that is nearly a 7 quid difference . im absolutely gobsmacked
