friendly staff. quick to serve. delicious food. and great decor. what else could you wish for? nothing! after a long walk, I reached this little cafe in hopes of a hot drink, and they definitely delivered! a wonderful selection of hot drinks was provided, and an array of lunch and an all-day breakfast menu! I recommend the french toast, it was delicious! overall, it was reasonably priced and a successful pit stop in our journey! and, for the little ones on a nice day, there is a park just outside! if the opportunity we're to arise, I will definitely come again.

The breakfast is advertised as 2 thick sausages, the ones served to me were thin, very thin. And a cafe without bread is like a pub with no beer

Just finished a superb snack lunch. High quality and excellent value. Imaginative menu too. We had a vegetable broth and crispy chicken Katsu.. we shared both the ‘large’ soup and Katsu. Excellent!!!😁😁

Great place for a walk to breakfast / brunch. Friendly staff and great coffee. The cakes were being baked on the spot and the ones we tried were really tasty. Brunch was nicely served and reasonably priced. Definitely going again.

A friendly little cafe with a great selection of home made cakes. Previously I have had some delicious soup. Quick and efficient service. This makes a lovely stop off point half way round a walk.

After a pleasant walk from the promenade, we arrived at Bob in and a friendly member of staff told told us that dogs were allowed in provided on a lead. It was now just after 1pm there was a short queue and at 1.10pm we were told they were no longer serving lunch. No cooked food availale so unfortunately we had to leave without sampling any food. Very dissappointed will not return.

This small cafe has lots of outdoor seating by a kids' playground that's only for the use of cafe patrons and people staying on the caravan park. We had delicious toasted sandwiches and soup. The service was friendly and cheerful and it wasn't too busy, even on a sunny day in peak holiday season. It's a great place to stop on a walk along the Arnside estuary.

I arrived at the Bob In cafe around closing time after a stunning walk from Far Arnside to Arnside. The staff could not have been more helpful, the scone / jam / butter was just delicious. I'll be back there soon ... it's a great place. I'd give it 6 stars if tripadvisor would let me!

Very good coffee and a great selection of cakes which are very generously portioned. The meals we saw being served looked very good too. Lovely friendly people. We arrived dripping wet as it was pouring with rain. No complaints about muddy boots; smiles all round. Have a look at the cards for sale, there are some lovely original ones. Beats the high street cafes hands down. Clean toilets too.

We visit this cafe without fail every time we do our walk from Sandside along the coast, we then stop at the Bob in for a coffee & a sandwich before ascending Arnside Knott( the caffeine gives us a much needed boost). It as greatly improved over the years, there’s an excellent menu of sandwiches, salads, fry ups & homemade cakes. The indoor space is slightly small but there is lots of outdoor space which is fabulous in the summer. The staff are polite & friendly enough and because it’s a little way past the main tourist high street it’s never over busy and can always get a nice table either in the lovely court yard they have created or next to the children’s play area. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I found this place by accident and i am so glad i did. The weather was warm i found place to park the car for free. Nice up of coffee before setting of for a walk with the dogs. When we got back later i had pot of tea and big slice of cake all for £4. The cake was worth every penny. some places i have been have charged £4 for just a tiny bit of cake but not here. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a hidden gem of a place. If i had read review b4 i might not have gone so please judge it for yourselves.

Visited at the start of our walk. Party of 4 and sat inside without masks, as were others. Visited again at the end of our walk without masks and purchased drinks to take out. Popped back in for ice creams and were told, in a very sarcastic smarmy tone that we couldn’t be served without masks! When pointed out that masks were not mandatory in eating and drinking establishments this unpleasant officious member of staff said it was company policy. Well if that were the case, why were we served twice earlier! Not to worry, we won’t be returning as we were very very welcome at the Silverdale Hotel and the lovely Beach hut, Arnside which had amazing ice creams!,

Arrived by car. This is a portacabin. Charged 7.40 £ for dine in 2 coffees (decent) 1 cake. NO TABLES AVAILABLE so had to stand outside with elderly relative. The staff are happy to take your money and set you up with pottery mugs and plates. In true English style (yes I am English) could not care less if you get a table or not. Always say we are very busy. Standard excuse but happy to take the money. Customer care non-existent - Shall not be wasting another journey to this makeshift cafe. I have had better customer service in a shack in Africa.

It’s a lovely little cafe and the food and service is spot on. The mask policy is there for a reason and therefore isn’t a problem with me nor should it be for anyone else, if you want to go in, wear a mask and if you don’t then you can’t, it’s really that simple. People in the arnside community have done so much to protect the village through covid which has worked out well. Apart from that, everything is great and I can’t recommend the place enough. Deffo will be back again.

Loved the venue but the food was not stunning. The 'special' open prawn sandwich was over priced and needed a bit of finesse in the presentation as it was a load of frozen prawns dumped on two huge slices of bread that 99% of the population could have produced. The cheese & cranberry quiche although ordered as 'warm' was cold and pretty solid with a thin filling not worthy of the price tag. Maybe the staff need to visit other cafes to see their expertise and presentation skills.

Staff were lovely, particularly the canteen staff. Canteen prices were exorbitant - 8.50 for a very standard tuna mayo baguette isn't sustainable. However the coffee was excellent. In the garden centre there were plants strewn around on the floor but perhaps they were just having a bad day (and no it wasn't particularly windy).

A lovely warm welcome as me & Benji-Dog walked in from a crisp, winter walk in the park. Dog friendly, humans welcome too! 😆 Delicious food & drinks. I had a cappuccino & bacon barm to warm my cockles 👍 😋 wheelchair ♿️ friendly & carparks on both sides of the park. Lots of squirrels & wildlife too!

I have order quite a few things, and I always find the food to be nice and hot and very tasty.. The delivery person is always very polite ( one young lady even brought my recycling bags to the front door for me, which I found to be so kind as I have very poor vision ). I'd like to say a great big thank you for the food is excellent..
