Order £43 worth of food came stone cold and stuff missing, rang shop and promised to deliver rest snd nothing. Avoid delivery as you get ripped right off. Taking this further.

An excellent Sunday roast preceded by delicious mussels as starter and followed by roly poly pudding. Outstanding value for money served with real care.

No j20 left for my 8 year old daughter offered fruit shoot to then then told have none left ,offered coke or lemonade had to order coke would of walked away but already started pouring my pint, asked for straw for coke told haven't any said quite bad at moment waiting for stock ,and the pint wasn't even that cold either worst pub ever been in not much changed since fiest time couple years ago poor service

Popped in here while in Jarrow and had an amazing breakfast, chose your own,8 items of your choice for £2.99, fantastic value, cooked to perfection and in quick time by a lovely Young lady, the cafe was spotless and staff/owner really friendly. Nice friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend popping in here.

Disgusting Takeaway. Found clumps of dirty hair in the kebab, the whole family was put off from eating there food, the company owner refused to give us a full refund and said it didn't come from there which they know is a total lie. The owner from the start was rude and said at one stage 'its always new customers like you that complain'.

A simple cafe supporting those with mental ill health. Firmly in the basement of the library, this is a great project offering simple refreshments at reasonable prices.

First time i have been in for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Was busy, friendly atmosphere, bar staff excellent, good choice of beers. Prices are comparable to any other pub in the area. Will return.

Nothing like our usual choice for regular Sunday lunch gatherings. Booked in error, But staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was hot and served well. My chicken was really tasty. Yorkshire puddings were enormous. Lots of vegetables each - so many - rather than waste them the server kindly put them in a container to bring home. Another choice was the chicken fajitas - very tasty - and again good size portion.
