Ali's House of Pizza in South Tyneside

Pizza was OK, very spicy as advertised. However, I paid £2.50 extra for cookies and didn't get them. The guys in the shop didn't understand what I was saying apparently or what I was asking for - feels like a con.

good is absolutely banging never had a fault with it … his red kebab meat is my fave … and the smash boxes !! … ali goes above and beyond for his customers …. he’s also a done a lot for the community … this takeaway is brilliant

Son recommended food was excellent staff very friendly shop really clean food cooked in front of you best mixed kebab I have had would definitely return and recommend it to anyone reasonably priced

Chicken kebab was delicious. Chicken was so juicy and tender. Only came with one small pita bread but still very tasty. I could order more pittas next time. Would defo order again.

Decent food but the doner meat was meant to come with salad and garlic sauce and it didn’t so spoilt the meal

Just over £18 for a mixed chicken chargrilled kebab that was 8 pieces of chicken breast with no flavour. Very disappointing.

First time trying this supplier, and we were impressed. Pizza was lovely, good base and well topped, chips were fine, and garlic mushrooms were very nice. Food arrived hot and quickly. Will use these again.

They missed off the GB on the order but rang up and they sorted it straight away. All of it was great!

Food was nice but the sauces were missing. Rang them up and they sent replacements, but we'd eaten the food by then. Still enjoyed the food though.

Order was missing ingredients as specified on the menu But waiting over 1hr for delivery wasn’t going to send back Seems like a regular thing from the reviews missing ingredients and sauces

Best food ever had for me and my family we try almost everything on menu and it’s always hot delicious and we’ll go no where else service amazing delivery, always quick and delivery drivers always polite

Just come across this peach of a takeaway food is beautiful well cooked hardly any grease we got the munch box and the chicken shawarma kebab honestly 10 out of 10

Cheap and nasty,very little portions and very expensive .25 quid for a small pizza,some shredded donner ,3 dips ,4 bits of cubed chicken ,salad and 2 medium flat breads..should have gone to spice hut.

Probably the best garlic bread special av ever had everything was unreal especially the chips 10/10

We are a regular customer and ordered through the app (eat and repeat) and requested for cheese and a tomato base to be added to the free garlic bread, which we would then pay on collection, as our order was over £20 and the front page of the app stated that this was possible to claim. When we collected our food in store the garlic bread was not there. The server said that prices had changed, I stated that the front page of the eat and repeat site was still listed at £20 and over. Once I checked again, this had now jumped to orders over £30. Suspicious, seeing as though when I said that I would show them on my phone, they jumped on the computer at the front counter obviously to live change the price. Once we were home, this had then changed for a second time down to orders over £25 - probably to match what they wanted. Food is always lovely, and the free offer of the garlic bread always made the prices seem justifiable. Not now. Menu prices have been hiked way up and the amount needed to spend to claim their offers are no longer reasonable. Poor service and false advertisement. I would have appreciated a phone call seeing as though the note I had left was in request of this. A reasonable customer service act would have been to warrant it and to then inform about the price change and that this had not at the time been changed in all areas for customers to see. We won't be back I'm afraid.

The tastiest pizza I’ve ever had. Better than named brands! Fantastic customer service. Really lovely people working there. You must give Ali’s House of Pizza a try you won’t be disappointed

In the past we have thoroughly enjoyed chicken kebabs with the freshest tastiest salad but last night the chicken wasn’t chunky tender or succulent, it was small, dry , tough and tasteless ☹️☹️😞 The salad wasn’t the usual fresh crispy but soft and tasteless and the red cabbage had definitely lost its zing😕🙁☹️ Sorry we won’t be visiting for quite some time 😭

We’ve used Ali’s loads of times and it used to be great - recently it’s gone down hill. Last few times there’s been little mistakes or things missing from the order which we’ve just got on with. Tonight our garlic sauce was missing and the pepperoni pizza was covered in an unknown sauce that was gross. Ended up walking back to the shop to get it changed and the staff were fine about remaking it initially but then started muttering between themselves so we couldn’t understand. They remade the pizza but when we got home the base sauce was a strange BBQ instead of tomato that the menu lists as normal. Couldn’t be bothered to walk back for a third time as the other food was already cold from having to wait for it to be remade. The BBQ base sauce tasted sour and rank, wont be using again.

Alis is the best takeaway in the area, quality is unmatched and the shop itself is very clean which is very important for me. Can’t be beat, quality food and I’ve never ever had a bad one (ordered 100+ times times).

Nice food. Shame they always seem to get the order wrong tho or just completely miss things off your order all together. Not a one off, last 4 out of 5 orders has been wrong. Shame as foods nice. Wont be using again

Ordered food came an hour and a half later. Missing the garlic sauce for 2 items. Can't even ring as phone off the hook.

Chicken shawarma was tremendous but conversely the pizza was one of the worst I’ve experienced.

Just had order from alis first time can say one of the worst takeaways I have had the salad was a box of water unedible and the chicken parmo was small totally over filled with cheese and greesey will not be going back and would not recommend it

Shop was so clean and the food was the freshest I’ve had from a kebab shop, everything was amazing will definitely be returning.

Had a few things from here now and always spot on.

After reading the reviews thought this place would be first class..for a pizza costing 13.50 it was just awful.. basically raw dough

Tremendous food but the guys who think they"ve just walked off mr universe stage that do the frying are pair miserable sods who make no conversation what so ever.

Amazing!1st time ordering from here, and absolutely amazing all freshly cooked, as you wait. we ordering a donner kebab, and one of the best kebab meat we have tasted in a long time.

Tried chicken shawarma and doner kebab (halal) with chips and salad varieties. Taste was very good. Quantity is enough for one person to fill up the belly happily. Overall a happy diner in the wilderness.

Loved the base of the pizza. I hate a doughy pizza. The one I ordered had mushrooms, pepperami and salami on paid extra for pineapple which I don’t mind but maybe next time a little more extra on the meat but pizza was fab otherwise Thanku

Ordered for collection last night , went in and the shop is Lovley and I must say the cleanest pizza shop I’ve seen , ordered 2 kebab wraps and a kids meal , chilli and a garlic and 2 cans of pop . The kebab meat was lovley top quality stuff, all of the food was fresh ans very nice . First time being here and won’t be the last

Best pizza I've ever had. Ali is a barber and God of food. You won't be disappointed
