Guy swearing down the phone and hung up on me due to awful food and the delivery being 2 hrs late. Absolutely shocking and something needs doing about this

Our food is about 2 hours late, is your delivery driver walking with our pizza? Are you physically making the wheat and collecting the yeast for the dough and growing tomatoes for the pizza? Got told the driver was on his way however this was half an hour ago - don’t know if he’s missed his bus or what but he would have been better off getting the metro as it’s taking so long

Pizza very dry and no taste. Came cold and also came late same excuse everytime when you ring up that they are really busy.

Your ratings are going down very fast ‘BEST PIZZA’ not the best now is it? Dont accept orders if you cant fulfil them - 1 hr 40 mins for 2 pizzas and some kebab meat ??!? And the pizzas were reheated ???? Will spend my money elsewhere from now on

Called to check where our food was to be told it would be here in 5 mins after waiting 1hr 30 mins. Pizzas were luke warm & chips stone cold . First time trying these and will definitely be the last

ordered 2 munchies boxes for collection. got them home and the order was wrong. I was missing a chilli sauce and was giving a garlic bread instead of a tuna pizza. when I rang up and told them they refused to bring me the right order out and told me I would have to drive all the way back if I wanted my right order. disgraceful customer service

Food was supposed to come at 4pm but got moved up to 4:45pm. I asked for some of my money back for being 45 mins late, but the restaurant declined my offer. This is unbelievable for being 45 mins late, I would expect a bit of money back.

Stay well clear if you want to actually get your food!!! Ordered an hour and a half ago with an estimated time of 40 mins and after it didn't show up I tried to contact them to get an update and tried through uber eats. I didn't get through on the phone and I've rang over 100 times. I'm not getting anything from here ever again.

tried to call the takeaway phone line was off then tries to say they had delivered the order for it to finally turn up nearly 2hrs after I ordered it , how can you justify a £3 delivery charge and be nearly 1hr late after the expected delivery time. this was my first time ordering from here aswell as my family members kept recommending me to order from here , had a really bad experience i wont be ordering again

After waiting almost 3 hours for our food it turned up stone call, we rang up to complain and got offered to get it recooked or free next time. We went we the free next time, a week later we called up and everything was going great until we got a text message 2 hours after ordering saying the order had been cancelled. Stay well clear

£20 for it to take 2 hours to send 2 pizzas and some chips. Rang up to see where the food was and the man didn’t even apologise just said it’s busy and loads of people’s orders were late.. Mediocre food. Not worth it at all

Was the best in the area. Prices went up, quality dropped. It seems like when I was a new customer the quality was top class and delivery was fast but now after 6 months both are poor

Terrible customer service. I placed an order at 9:20 with an estimated delivery of 45 minutes. Almost two hours later I called, as it was still not delivered, the bloke on the phone was rude and told me I was tying up his line when I called to see where it was. Good food is not good if simply asking where your late delivery is leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Go here every Friday (barely do now to loose weight🤣) the lad behind the counter knows us by name. Knows my order whenever it comes through. Foods always banging. (Even makes sure mines got extra) shows they care of repeat customers apposed to other takeaways. 10/10.

I actually feel bad leaving this review as we collect from here regularly and the food is fantastic but tonight i ordered for delivery and it took 2 and a half hours to turn up and the food was cold , i rang many time with no answer and i sent the food back. Gutted

The Bolognese chips were awful. Chips were mushy and cold and tasted awful. The meat feast pizza, I couldn't even finish. The pizza had an off smell and it made me feel nauseous. Horrible unfortunately:( Delivery driver was lovely enough. I'll never order from here again!

I have had some food from here before and was really nice So I thought I'd order again today I placed order at 19,30 to which delivery was supposed to be here at 20,15pm I rang up to check order at 20,40 to be told it would be a further 10 min At 21,10 I rang again to be told the same thing and food would be delivered ASAP 21,30 food shows up The lady on the phone had no interest and bad attitude i WONT be ordering again food was freezing and was clear to see food had been sitting in a heater for 45-50 minutes 000000000000☆☆☆☆☆

placed an order through just eat, rang the restaurant to confirm order and told to ring when outside as house is complicated to find. The woman on phone was happy with this and told me my food won’t be long, half an hour later got a notification to say food was on its way and then had arrived. My food hadnt arrived gave benefit of doubt and waited another half an hour after this tried to phone restaurant multiple times could not get an answer. My food never arrived despite the confirmation and still waiting.

Excellent! First time trying this place but will definitely NOT be the last. Really good value for money with a great choice of menu. Super impressed at receiving my food less than 30 minutes after ordering on a Friday night, with added bonus of great customer service. 10 out of 10 in my book 👍

Over half an hour late delivering, 3 garlic sauces missing, plain chicken burger smeared in garlic, cheese burgers had no cheese on them , had nothing but trouble with this takeaway every time we've ordered and will never use them again

I have just ordered a chicken kabab and a kabab pizza tonight. I i have to say not only was the staff friendly and welcoming. I got my order exactly how I wanted it and very speedy I might add. Top quality pizza place. I would definitely recommend

New business so time for improvement. Tried mexican pizza and mixed kebab. The mixed kebab was tasty and plentyful and not bad value . Pizza toppings were so so with weak flavours. Sadly the pizza base although freshly made was like chewing on cardboard with no flavour. I collected, so can't blame slow delivery / cold pizza. Note cash only if you collect. Just as well there's an ATM over the road. Hope they can improve. At some point I'll give them another go.

Absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn't bother ordering from here. 3 hours we have been waiting for our order and still not received it. 1 hour and 30 minutes we waited. Contacted them and said it was out for delivery. 1 hour and 30 minutes later we are still waiting. Absolute joke of a place. We were just filled full of lies from the people on the phone. Really don't waste your time ordering from here. Shambles and I won't be using it them again. I could of grew this food quicker!!! possibly the worst meal I have ever dined out too! Bearing in mind this meal was Friday evening, we should have noticed the very few people in there. Drinks, reasonably priced, but after 1 round, ran out of Fosters and John Smiths, waitress said no one there confident enough to change barrels over! Meal, starter of black pudding in pepper sauce ( sauce was like a beef gravy with extra beef extract) not very nice at all! Side of garlic bread, was partly undercooked and tasted very little of garlic, this is the first meal I have seen a full table leave garlic bread, part eaten. Mains, Fruit de la mar pasta, sauce again was awful, too thick felt as if I had to fight to eat it, in fact gave up before 1/2 finished, not a nice pasta dish at all. I don't normally do reviews, but felt that strongly about this night, I had to share my unpleasant experience

The family and I thought we would try this restaurant for its Sunday dinner and we weren’t disappointed good portions roast beef was lovely and tender and all for a very reasonable price. My only criticism was only two roasties

I didn’t know what to expect when a friend suggested going to an Italians in Jarrow. Crikey what a great surprise. The restaurant is delightfully appointed with the most comfort table chairs. So comfortable that three hours seems to fly by. The three course menu for £12.95 was simply insane. Black pudding followed by chicken pancetta and no room for dessert. Emily the waitress is a credit to the place. Totally impressed.

You can’t really complain about the value here and the food is tasty and plentiful for the price. However I was served by one waitress who didn’t seem to care at all. She completed no check backs and I had to ask her for more drinks whereupon fetching them she left our empty glasses on the table! I asked for the bill and she took so long we ended up going to the bar to pay. I know none of this is a shock horror never to return moment, but it is disappointing and unnecessary when in stark contrast I saw a waitress who was pregnant going out of her way to please her customers. Some consistency would be good.

Went for Sunday lunch, order at the bar and pay at the bar, young lad in front of me waiting patiently, member of staff asks who can I help next he asked to order meals and drinks, staff member turns round starts talking to other staff member and walks out the back, again she comes through and asks again can I help anyone, again the lad says loudly can I order food and drinks please, old lady behind me in the queue says I want a table for two and the staff member walks away yet again to seat the old lady with her husband, again returns to bar asking who can I help, the lad again asks to order food and drink and finally she asks him what can I get you to which I replied very loudly third time lucky eh!!!! Meal was ok but the rude staff member was disgusting, will not go back again

Martino's in Jarrow has become our fall back place to go as we always know we will get a great meal there. This time we went as our 5 year old chose it as his favourite place to eat. As always the food was great and the staff are fantastic. The only negative was the restaurant was rather chilly to the point where one of my boys put his coat back on.

The wife and I went early on a Friday teatime after work my first visit, and went for the 3 course specials and a bottle of house red came to a total of just over £40 we’ll worth it and good portion sizes will visit again

We usually come here every sunday for the carvery with all family, was good for few weeks but today i got complain from the guy who serve the carvery about me piling up my plate cause i only pay for small plate. I thought the idea of CARVERY is u can take whatever vegs u want for ur plate. What a way to treat a customer. So for the sake of less than £2 different they prefer losing out on customer. We will never come back for foods here anymore, its ruin our sunday meal and leaving us with very sour taste

Ordered the potato skins and arrabiata, which was plain and almost tasteless. It's cheap so good for a family meal maybe if you cant get a reservation anywhere else.
