Papa Johns in South Tyneside

The pizza order was made fresh whilst we waited and we didn’t wait too long. There are seats to sit. The shop was clean. There were cold drinks in the fridge. The staff were friendly and happy to tell you what offers were available and what the best deal was. We will return.

somehow managed to lose my pizza. Poor communication, no apology, poor service. Really poor customer service, wont be returning.

….. in the same premises it occupied years ago. We received a promotional leaflet with options of 50 or 60% off depending on amount spend. Here lies the crux, no matter how nice a pizza may be, without discounts they are nearly sit down restaurant prices as opposed to takeaway prices. Regardless of prices our stuff crust, half double pepperoni, half Mexican pizza with the lovely and tasty soft pizza dough was great. A let down was the garlic dip that came with it, I couldn’t eat it, it was like butter, horrible. If your looking for a great pizza though, and can afford it (to be fair the cost of living is effecting everywhere) then Papa Johns unique pizza is worth a shot.

Placed an online order for delivery. It Didn’t arrive, rang store to be told 30 mins. Still didn’t arrive, tried ringing, the phone was ringing out - being ignored. Pizza arrived nearly two hours later, barely warm, at this point were tucking into something we quickly cooked thinking we weren’t going to get anything from Papa John, it went straight in the bin. Contacted head office for refund, same ignorance as store, no response. Best advice, avoid, unless you enjoy throwing your hard earned cash away.
