Worth driving from Bamburgh for fantastic fish and chips. You walk into the little shop opposite the coop and you're met with friendly people serving the best value fish and chips I've eaten for a while. Lovely big fish cooked perfectly in batter with lovely chips. Well done The John Dory 👍👍
Been to this lovely rural pub today for the Mothers Day Lunch. Thus was our first time here but won't be the last. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Prices very good and the food was Amazing 👏. I have Coeliac disease so need to have a Gluten Free diet and was well catered for. The gf dinner was amazing including the Yorkshire pudding and gravy. FAB THANK YOU XX
Amazing restaurant, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and were sat with drinks within minutes. So many options on the menu and was absolutely spoiled for choice. Nicest Italian restaurant I have ever been to.
Just returned from Bewicks Rothbury. Wanted a lunchtime sandwich and drink, told they’ve never been asked for a cold sandwich before (!) but agreed to have a cheese toastie. A small very stale untoasted sourdough sandwich with an equally small amount of grated cheese arrived which I returned as inedible. My daughter ordered an iced coffee which arrived hot and was replaced with ice cubes floating on the top. Her avocado on toast was minuscule surrounded by superfluous, pretentious garnish rather than a decent serving of avocado toast (costing £8.50). What has happened to Bewicks? Used to be good but is now mediocre at best with prices that aren’t justifiable.
Red naga is the best Indian takeaway in cramlington, just had a Mr.naga chicken tikka. Bursting with flavours very spicy and hot amazing food everytime. I would highly recommend this place.
Really lovely cafe, super friendly welcome from the staff and regulars alike. The freshly baked scones were, according to J, "top tier". Will definitely come back to try our the breakfasts. Only comment would be that a plant based milk on offer would be great for the vegans/lactose intolerant.
Lovely pub opposite the river in this pretty village. The pub is spotless and thoughtfully laid out as you don't feel on top of other tables. We ate here twice, the first being a scrummy bubble and squeak pie with Guinness gravy and the best chips we've ever had. Second was the Sunday veggie roast which is also potentially the best we've had in a pub. The texture and taste of the lentil loaf was amazing and the sides and yorkies were amazing. Highly recommend.
Love seafood restaurants and it is so lovely to eat overlooking the harbour. Food and service were very good and with our visit being a Thursday night the place wasn't too busy (it gets very busy in season). Do not hesitate to visit here or their sister restaurant ((The fish shack) if you love seafood (other options are available). Thank you
An absolute gem of a restaurant, we thoroughly enjoy everything about this place, the menu, the staff, the food, the service, as far as we are concerned it is all perfect.
Best curry we’ve had in a long time
Great service despite being fully booked

Why can’t all Indian restaurants get it so good as here!
