Brilliant friendly staff and lovely food

What a great find. Could not be more welcoming and helpful. 4 adults and a baby visit. Good knowledge of gluten free menu and adaptations offered where possible. Mushroom starter to die for. Steak sandwich was excellent.

Very nice food, offered condiments, cheese and more, large portions, fast service, polite staff. The price was good for what it was.

Great service and great food at reasonable prices. Something for everybody. Had a few starters to share (garlic bread, calamari, skins), and also shared dessert. Brilliant no nonsense tiramisu! Highly recommend if visiting Amble or need somewhere for a nice occasion.

Worst chicken tikka masala ever! And I’ve had a few! Was very watery, very little flavour and the butter chicken was the same. Not much chicken in the dishes for the price either. Chips were nice and that’s it! Won’t be returning sadly.

Reply to owner... it would be nice if I could remember. This rating was 4 years ago. Not sure what the issue was but I've been back plenty times since so upped the rating making it fair and more upto date. I usually have a pathia or similar dish, always good 👍
