Used this tandoori for the 1st time last night food was excellent opted for lamb Rogan was not disappointed I even phoned them back after eating it and complemented them on will definitely use it again

This is our local regular spot for coffee, cakes, and lunch. The food is always tasty and piping when served. The carrot cake (and Lime & Blueberry cake) are to die for! The staff are all great, especially the lovely lady with red hair that is front of house most of the time (since been told her name is Caroline from one of the lovely guys) - she is always happy, smiley, and very sociable with all the customers - she is fantastic at her job! The tables are always cleared quickly even at the peak of the day. The general atmosphere is great, and I like it's the general buzz of conversation you hear rather than music playing away in the background like a lot of places. People are quick to post negative stuff online - be kind and post the good stuff too! ❤️

One of the best fish and chips i’ve had. Small meal deal was good value and plenty of food. Only gripe would be the plate is small making it hard to eat without your food falling off! Definitely will be visiting again when in the area.

Our two poodles greatly enjoyed their visit. Harrison slept while Millie entertained everyone. Food was excellent, place had a lovely relaxed vibe and made very welcome. Will be back.

A wonderful Pub where the expert eye for detail includes the bespoke handmade diary (must be worth a fortune!). Well worth a visit.

Busy on a weekday. Lots of locals. Great food.

Almost walked past glad we didn’t. Probably the best Thai food I’ve had.!. the duck spring rolls are incredible. You could tell nothing but Fresh ingredients were used in every dish.. fantastic! I would travel from Keswick for food like this.

Called in on a Sunday morning and was well impressed. Staff were lovely, food and coffee were great. Maybe a touch pricey but all in all no complaints, only compliments.

Popped in last night for 1 staff very friendly ask if they did Sunday lunches they said they did ordered 5 for next day absolutely gorgeous and reasonable prices 😀 Brian &Gill

Had the early bird menu here today at lunchtime. For £15 we were expecting a small lunch for the price and we would have been happy with that. However it was a very large lunch which was delicious I hasten to add. The potato skins were lovely as was the bruschetta. We opted for a pizza each, fungi and Hawaiian and they were huge and well topped. We could have opted for ice cream or coffee within the cost of the meal and decided on coffee which tasted like real coffee despite mine being decaf. Have had so many disappointments with decaf coffee but this was great. Atmosphere was really nice, they have a good outside space for when the weather is nice. Service was so friendly, the staff were efficient and we felt that a tip was deserved and it is not often at all I can say that. Just as well we don’t live in Hexham, we would be visiting this restaurant too much 🤣.

Very cosy, seemed busy but with ample room you wouldn't notice how busy it can be, fantastic food and fast table service, staff very helpful, for the high quality food etc the prices are really good value, the restaurant is tucked away down one of the many little side alleys, but we'll worth the time to find!!! 5 star all round

Visited after reading many amazing reviews and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food, good portions and reasonably priced. Will definitely return. ETA: Been 3 times now, had something different every time we've been and never been disappointed. Highly recommend.
