Wai Ho Cramlington in Northumberland

Ordered a takeaway from this place and they cancelled my order 1hour and 20mins after it was placed, idiots.

80% of our order had no flavour at all! we ended up throwing it out and wont ever be ordering or going here again

Good food, friendly staff, best onion bajis ever.

Horrendous service, on 3 or 4 occasions now they have simply forgotten my order, or taken 2 hrs to deliver, despite the website saying 45-60mins when ordered! They then claim it's out for delivery and will be about 10-15mins, it won't be as they have forgotten it, they then try and cook it and deliver it to you, so another 30mins at least, so you're wait is 2 hrs (last time I ordered at 7pm, they tried to deliver it just before 9pm despite me calling and cancelling after being told the old classic "out with the deiver, wait the 15 mins" after I had waited 1.5hrs already and it didn't show up! Honestly, the food is pretty good but who needs the hassle of wondering if they'll actually turn up with your order!? Red Naga if you like spicier curries, Lal Qila for less spice and collection only, don't bother with these, never again....and I WAS a regular customer!

Delicious food. Chicken Tikka Main, Chicken Tikka Madras, Mushroom Pilau, Garlic Chips & Garlic/Keema Nan all hot when delivered & very tasty 😋 thank you 😁

Horrible service!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would be. The chicken tikka masala didn't look or taste right. They forgot one of my rice dishes and it took them an hour to deliver that rice to us when we stay 8 minutes away. Man on the phone was rude! Would not recommend at all.

Fantastic service delicious 😋 food

Since the takeover the whole place has gone backwards. I ordered a meat thali and chicken pakora. Everything was very greasy and bland. No salad, mint raita or onion salad. Even the prices have gone up! I won't be going back soon.

Food is delicious curries are spot on friendly staff only thing I could say against is bhaji was a tad dry but still nice just not a 10 the rest of it was beautiful probably one of the best I've had

Still the best in Cramlington....Ordered a take away last night, food was piping hot and really flavourful. This is by far cramlingtons best Indian takeaway and resturant. Others are a long way behind.

Great little restaurant, wonderful food and fantastic service! Chilli chips are delicious! And they don’t serve alcohol so you can bring your own! If we are ever in Cramlington again it will be to visit Moti Jheel.

Back to using this time served Indian Restaurant/Takeaway…. The king prawn shaslick I had last night was out of this world! & the other food absolutely spot on too 👍

Excellent clean friendly best food around Amazing staff

We had an amazing meal here after Newcastle Races, the food was some of the best we've had. We both had poppadum's to start with a large selection of condiments - a couple were very spicy which my husband likes then we followed them by the onion bhaji starter and meat chatt on puri which was delicious. Just the right size portion too. For my main meal I enjoyed a generous portion of the Chicken Tikka Mossala with mince and my husband tried the spicy version which he said had just the right amount of spice but was tasty with it too. We shared pilau rice and a garlic keema naan which was cooked to perfection. To top it off we paid less than what we would usually spend on a takeaway. We were aware that this restaurant didn't sell alcohol (apparently you can bring your own) but we were happy with water after drinking all day. The staff were polite and attentive and the courses were served in a timely manner despite there being lots of customers picking up takeaways. Inside the restaurant we'd have liked a bit more atmosphere as it was very quiet with us being the only table in for the majority of the meal but I don't think this is reflective of usual evenings as I believe the races being on meant it was less busy. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an authentic tasty Indian meal.

We've not sat in the restaurant, but we have had many takeaways over the last couple of months or so. After looking for a new takeaway we decided to try Moti Jheel, and they have yet to disappoint (hopefully not). I would encourage anybody to go out of your comfort zone. Chicken Katmi, Pimento and Kartoush are very tasty (all about the flavours). The chicken is always very tender. We don't go anywhere else now. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, but you can take your own. *****

Friendly staff, takeout/dine in food amazing. Never have a bad meal and I’ve been going years. Take your own drink (alcohol) so very good value for money.

foods ok but always an excuse as to why it's running soooooo late. book delivery time an hour in advance and still 40 mins late , which makes it less enjoyable, you're either hungry or so over it and not enjoy it, and who needs the stress of where's my order and listening to the excuse of the day !!!

I was at Cramlington hospital last night 9 hours in total. From 6;30 pm to 3:30 am so decided to Order takeout from here , 11pm. what a fantastic idea. The meal was absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken biryani and chicken shaslick. The best tasting chicken I’ve tasted. So tender. Thankyou. Just perfect. My new go to Indian meal. I’m going to travel here now from Seaton sluice. Thanks again. Moti Jheel 🥰

Ordered online for them opening at 17:00, 2 hours later we got our food, the curry was nice but the chips were dry as sticks!! If I didn't know any better I'd say they were a day old. Definatley not worth the wait.

Shocking delivery service, ordered when it first opened and did not receive any food until 10.30pm, was blamed on bad weather and printer not working but what was bad is the staff never phoned up to say what the hold up was. Didn’t even get offered a discount either, which should have been the case for the poor service. While I accept that weather was not ideal, not being told was unacceptable and very poor customer service.

The food here is excellent which is more than I can say for the service on a Saturday night. After having had a few late deliveries in the past I decided to telephone for pick up. As the place gets quite busy I telephoned early on at 5.30pm and placed my order for 7.30pm when I arrived I sat waiting for 50 minutes and was given various excuses and apologies for my wait. I could think of a few better to places to spend a Saturday night during Covid particularly amongst other customers, some who were maskless Had I not paid upfront (as requested) I would have left! I'm now looking for somewhere more reliable to buy my Indian takeaway in future, but for this I would have willingly given 5 stars

Excellent Indian restaurant / takeaway, top notch food, Tuesday and Thursday special is an absolute bargain, staff very farm and friendly, couldn't rate highly enough. Bring your own drink if drinking as no alcohol license.
