Had a nice coffee and tasty fruit scone late on a weekday morning.

Good siting alongside Wentworth car park. Able to watch swimmers whilst enjoying a snack. Wonderful café run by very efficient pleasant staff. Bacon sandwich top quality.Nothing to add

Great cafe open early, perfect by the car park. Service was a bit slow but staff were friendly.

First time trying Wentworth Cafe today and I was not disappointed. I had the brunch and a cappuccino and I cannot fault the food or the service. Will definitely be returning.

Stopped off here for breakfast on our way back from Newcastle. Choice and service were excellent. I had the smashed avocado on toast with added poached egg, freshly squeezed orange juice & tea … absolutely delicious. Parking is a bonus as you can use the free car park for Waitrose. Cakes, scones etc looked delicious too so we’ll need another visit.

The location is very convenient and the food is okay.

Simply the best breakfast in Hexham! 🍽😋 We stopped by today for a breakfast treat after a stressful week. The hustle and bustle of a favourited regular spot was evident from the tables around us. Lots of people in their active wear or meeting friends and family for a weekend breakfast, the atmosphere was really lovely. We had two full monty breakfasts (one with mushrooms and without toast) and two pots of decaff tea (ringtons no less!) With oat milk. It was simply divine homemade great quality produce. Everything we had asked for was accomodated (how we liked our eggs was spot on) and we just wanted to thank the staff. It was a fab experience (as we always know it will be from our previous visits) and a great way to start our weekend. Thank you!

Situated in the first large car park found if you enter Hexham from the A69, if you are hungry why search for anywhere else? Staff were very pleasant and friendly, service was fast and efficient. This huge plate of scampi, chips, peas and salad, and a pot of tea for just under £13.00. What is there not to like?

I was in Hexham, 220 miles from home, buying a car. The seller recommended the Wentworth for some breakfast! I had the eggs benedict and a cappucino, absolutely splendid! You can tell the ingredients are of good quality, very tasty. All the girls front of house were lovely, welcoming and pleasant. Checking I had everything and I was happy with my food. Free iced tap water was a nice touch and something usually overlooked. Nice atmosphere even though I was dining alone. I would highly recommend the Wentworth!

Have been here numerous times for coffee and cake or breakfast. Full English is excellent as is the vegetarian breakfast. Service is good and staff friendly. We went in for coffee towards the end of the day once and came home with a bag of free scones - they prepare fresh daily so just needed these….scone!! So gave them to us. Can’t fault the place.

Bit in the pricy side. Especially when adding extras to breakfast sandwiches. But but quality and service from the friendly staff

Best bacon sandwich I've had in a while, staff polite and attentive. Scored the atmosphere as an average - but it's a box overlooking a supermarket car park and not the reason we visited! If a quick coffee and bite to eat is what you're after, spot on.

Had all-day breakfast (which *is* served all day!) and very good it was too!! A sensible-sized helping, well cooked and presented. Great staff and efficient service!

A hidden gem. The food is of the highest quality and the staff are just amazing . Helpful, courteous and a genuine warmth to them all. Keep doing what you are doing and see you in the New Year when I return to Hexham . .

What a hidden gem!if you took this cafe by the way it looks from the outside you would be making a mistake as you would miss a fantastic little place.Food was outstanding,fresh and homemade.Staff went out of their way to help and were extremely polite. We haven't visited Hexham in a few years,but know we have a reason to go back again soon!

Been here many times over the years because it’s good value for money. Decent enough food, stopped here today for bacon brie and cranberry toastie (£7) served with coleslaw. Minus points have to be for the cleanliness of the cafe, always feels grubby with tables not properly cleaned. Also felt like there was 3 kids running the place today - constantly shouting and joking and didn’t see me waiting at the counter.

Decent enough food for a drop in and grab a quick bite. Service was decent enough, though the childrens chips (or small) could have been used as a set of craft knifes, they were so sharp and over cooked. The toasted sandwiches were fine, the coleslaw really good.

Breakfasts were enormous and delicious

My family and I had a great experience. It fairly busy when we visited but plenty of spare tables. We were checked in on before we ordered at the till. We received drinks fairly quickly as well as food ordered after. Portion sizes were generous and the food good quality. Free WiFi using password provided. We were full from dinner that we didn't need to order the selection of desserts on offer.

Nice breakfast and great service. Toilets need some attention though on my visit on Saturday 14 Oct. The breakfast menu was well cooked with good ingredients and the young staff that were on on Saturday were really helpful and good at their jobs It can get quite busy on a weekend which is always a good sign The toilets needed some attention as they weren’t very clean. This is the only reason for the 4 stars Will be back again to try the lunch menu.

Called in today, 10th of may, and had a fantastic spot of lunch, food was excellent and the coffee was sublime. Great service also and fair prices. Edit: it's 7/9/23.. visited again today, the food is still brilliant but the service was absolutely fantastic, thanks for a great time, special thanks to the guy with the tattoos, such a nice polite and caring bloke. Definitely the best place in Hexham.👍⚒️

Great place for a bit bait with the kids.

A very small cafe by the leisure centre. Very friendly, efficient staff and the small breakfast was excellent. All well cooked and very tasty. Only went in to buy a parking permit but seeing some of the food being served decided to have brunch. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Toasties are amazing - cajun chicken and pepper with homemade coleslaw (I got extra coleslaw on my plate as I ate my family members coleslaw too!) and the side of handcooked chips were delicious. I also had cold juice orange, ginger and carrot, which was so refreshing. Recommend a visit!

A lovely little place in Hexham. A quiet family run cafe, serving a range of food and drinks. The food is very nice, well prepared and plentiful. The service is always great and very attentive. The cost is very reasonable too! Would deffo recommend!

Stopped here on the way home from a break in Northumberland and so glad we did. Lovely wee place. Very friendly & attentive staff and the food was excellent at a very reasonable price. 4 of us opted for a variety of toasties and all of us agreed it was the nicest lunch we had all week.

This is normally a super place with a simple menu , and a friendly service that makes it definitely worth a visit. However today (2 Aug 2023) the service and food was so diabolical that it makes me wonder if it’s changed hands. No familiar faces and terrible service. There was even open doors between the kitchen and the toilets. Not a great experience

This is a great cafe. We always stop off to eat while on our travels. The food is excellent. The staff are really welcoming. The location (which is in the Waitrose carpark) is an added bonus. The fact that it is is dog friendly is brilliant. Overall the perfect experience.

I love this little cafe. The food is super fresh and we'll put together. I had a basic sausage sandwich and it totally hit the spot. The coffee was also on the money. If your in Hexham and want to find a quant place for brekkie, lunch etc. Please call in here. Lovely place and staff.

We weren't informed there would be such a long wait for our scrambled eggs. The tea was cold by the time the food appeared. The quality was good, however. Don't eat here if you are in a hurry.

Excellent food with really attentive, friendly to all, staff. Lots of space even though it was busy. We had a brunch and a vegetarian breakfast and everything was cooked with skill and care. Honestly what a lovely find this cafe is.

This cafe was so busy that we were.told the wait was 50 minutes for breakfast. We decided to wait instead of wandering around trying to find somewhere else, which probably would have taken just as long. It was worth the wait. The food was fresh, tasty, and everything presented as requested. The staff seemed very young but were very capable. As everywhere we have visited in hexham, the people were.friendly and helpful.

Came upon it by chance, saw lots of people visiting which was a good sign. Even though busy, the service was very friendly, personable and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Orders brought to your table. The food was lovely and excellent coffee. Ordered americano with milk. So good, ordered another. Huge car park in front and a Waitrose so highly accessible and seating available outside. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again, if in the area.

Nice coffee spot, lovely coffee and juices. Cake portion was very generous two of us struggled. Staff were great. Atmosphere killed a bit by people using as personal office with no consideration of others. This however is no reflection of the great staff and food.

It was a wet lunchtime in Hexham and all the cafes were full. As we went back to the carpark we saw this cafe and decided to see what it was like. Answer -fantastic! Friendly staff could not have been nicer and the food was great. Had to wait a while to be served but only because it was so popular and food was freshly made. I see avocado on a menu and can't see anything else so pleased that the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached egg and a spicy tomato sauce was excellent. He had a tuna and cheese toastie with coleslaw and we shared a slice of cake. Both really good. A tea and coffee completed our meal and cost was around £20 so good value too.

Lovely food which is surprising as we weren't expecting much from this cafe located on the edge of the car park. Really friendly staff too. Definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

A visit to Hexham wouldn't be the same unless we include calling into this Cafe. Been visiting for many years and it's always a lovely welcoming atmosphere serving great food at a reasonable price.

Had breakfast here.Staff friendly and informative. Atmosphere very pleasant. Easy to get into if you are disabled. Food was lovely and good value. Black pudding which I love was the best. My husband hadn't been back here since he was a child and it brought back happy memories for him. We can't wait to come back.
