A warm welcome to this small cafe, spotlessly clean and airy. Had the traditional English breakfast, well cooked and presented on a hot plate. Excellent value and the coffee was great also. An excellent stop-off in an attractive setting

Lovely friendly staff after a long drive to get there. There are a couple of tables outside too. We had a drink and there were some great cakes on offer. We can recommend the ginger cake and the banana and walnut cake. Both were delicious and reasonably priced.

Very small place but it's a proper old fashioned sarnie place. The coffee was hot and tasty and all the cakes were proper old fashioned yummy ones. Will go back if I'm passing. Free parking to be had here and good lass serving, they also have a toilet.

We called in here on our way north on the motorbike. Had a lovely breakfast, served by pleasant staff, we were made very welcome, food was tasty and good quality. Fantastic value at £20 for two full English's and a cuppa each. We'll definitely call here again when we're passing.

What a fabulous find this was whilst staying in self catering near Bellingham. Superb menu of breakfast options and then cakes galore for laters ... all run by the most friendly staff.

Have eaten here 3 times now, and will be back again in the next week as we are staying locally. This is a super-friendly cafe, with good grub. The all-day breakfasts are the best value for money anywhere. There's ample parking, and it's right in the centre of town. Fuel yourself up before a visit to the other attractions here.

I had the best breakfast ever, it was so tasty, going back tomorrow before leaving the area.

A perfectly fried egg is so hard to find nowadays. So many places burst the yolk or undercook it leaving the white snotty. The fried eggs here are as good as the ones I cook myself 🥰

Lovely and homely place to pop in after a long walk. Staff are great and welcoming. My partner had the ‘Mince & onion pie, with chips, peas and gravy. He was quite pleased with the quality, especially for the price. I had the ‘eggs Benedict’ which had a healthy amount of everything. Really happy we stopped here.

Great cafe, fast and friendly service and good food. I would give 5 stars but the Heinz ketchup bottles were filled with some cheap red sauce probably out of a 5L container behind the counter. If it ain't Heinz, don't pretend it is !

Wonderful start to the day with amazing local produced and cooking to perfection. Just what the Blue Crayon team needed before spending the day ahead scouting for Festival location for the 90’s boy band legends Magic Dave Martindale and Keyboard Kye on their come back tour with new material and of course their number on hits colour me blue and Smurf’in. Couldn’t find anywhere open for breakfast in Keilder area due to time of the year, Saturday morning. So on the advice of owner at Anglers Arms headed here. Fantastic full English, all cooked fresh. Cooked like you would for yourself. Kids had a small one each and loved it. Wife had eggs Benedict and gave it high praise. Lovely staff. Reasonably priced.

We came upon this lovely village café by accident. Food all freshly prepared, scones are really nice. I had a cream and jam one, very generous with the cream so had to take some out. Good choice of staple food, well presented and cooked. Would certainly recommend.

We were just doing the touristy thing in rural Northumberland and came upon this little roadside area with a monument , cafes and good parking, so stopped for a cuppa. We had toasted crumpets, fruit scones with the same and cherry and almond scones all served with fruity jam and butter All were lovely. The tea was a big teapot for two of us, and by the time he'd poured his weak bit out and I let the pot stand, it was really good flavoured tea Ambience was nice. We sat at a table by the window watching the world go by, so such a nice experience.

Had lunch on Sunday 13/8/23. Food was excellent as was the service. Priced just right this is a must visit for those passing or in the area. You will not go wrong here.

As always we were made to feel welcome here. A full English is my go to meal here, great value for money. Don't expect posh bait and crockery but you will be well fed. Hence I always pop in when I'm in the area.

If your a vegan or have a dairy allergy, go here. For a small village you will be accommodated and of very good quality. Staff are incredibly friendly and we look forward to visiting again

Fantastic spot in Bellingham for breakfast, tea and cake. I was there for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother-in-law's 90th birthday and it was fabulous. On our way in the door, the outgoing patron very much recommended the breakfasts, so I'll have to give that a go. The afternoon tea was home made and most excellent with a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and an assortment of cakes all served with a smile. Thoroughly recommended. Pro tip: parking in Bellingham can be entertaining as it's busier than you might expect and there's not all _that_ much space so be prepared to fish a bit... Pro tip 2: if your party is larger than 4, I'd definitely think of booking a table as there's only so much space to go around.

Went to the village pub first ,but they weren't serving food and only take cash? Result really went to rocky road , lovely staff polite and attentive great food,good coffee and reasonably priced .. Spotlessly clean toilets all the light fittings were sparkly clean . Go and see for yourself,you won't b disappointed..

We arrived in Bellingham mid afternoon but looking for a main meal. The only option we could see was the Rocky Road cafe, so we went in expecting sandwiches or similar. The menu was as expected, but the specials board had hot food - we both had the beef pie which was made on the premises and was WONDERFUL. No room left for cake, but the display was so tempting we took a slice each for later. Great service, friendly chitchat as we ate, very warm welcome. We would certainly come here again and recommend it to any visitors in the area.

Found this place on a walkabout whilst staying in Bellinghamfor a few days. A wonderful cafe with a great selection of snacks, breakfasts, light bits, cakes and tray bakes. Nice clean, tidy establishment and also great for a takeaway. Our youngest could not decide between a slice of rocky road for the marshmallows or a cookie. Finally decided on a cookie and when delivered to the table he had been treated with some mini marshmallows on top it off - made his day! Our oldest forgot his waterbottle and one of the ladies actually came looking for us to give it back ... finding us a few shops down the street. Such a wonderful thing to do. Our boys want a return visit just for the cafe!

Want a break then this is the place to stop, the ladies are fab. an exalent breakfast and the Mars Bar Cheese cake is to die for, not too sweet with a crunchy base, very highly recommended
