Great service, food and friendly atmosphere as always.

In over 7 years we have never once had anything other than an excellent visit. The food was lovely and the staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever. We love coming here and hope to be back soon.

Had a lovely family meal this evening. Food freshly cooked to order and delicious, exactly what I wanted. Gloria's excels with the high quality of the dishes and the service is friendly and professional.

We go regularly and have done for my any years. The food is consistently excellent and a good variety . Everything tastes fresh. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a problem. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Prudhoe

Having not been to Gloria's for a few years we decided this would be our choice for our anniversary meal out. We were not disappointed. On arrival we were shown to a lovely window table which started the evening off very well. Drinks orders were promptly taken and brought to us as we perused the menu. For starters we chose a king prawn dish and a salmon and asparagus dish , both beautifully presented, but mostly importantly delicious. Mains consisted of a chicken cacciatora and a pizza bolognese, both again very tasty and fresh. Some of the best Italian food we have enjoyed for a good few years. Service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. All in all a lovely experience and we will return. The restaurant is well set out and a lovely atmosphere is evident.

As a family we had never been in years so we thought why not. We had tattie skins for starter to share and for main we had sea bass, lasange, spice sausage pasta. All really hot filling and tasty. We had dessert, 2 tiramisu and protierols all really sweet and lovley. Id go back there as its great for tea. It need to feel more italian in there.

We have visited this restaurant frequently over the last 7 years. We never fail to have a 5-star experience there and our latest visit was up there with the very best. The food was excellent in all respects and the kindness and friendship of the staff are of a very high order. We're fortunate that this restaurant is within easy travelling distance of where we live and we look forward to many more visits.

We frequent Gloria Restaurant regularly, which is a testament to how good it is. In this day and age where competition is fierce, and people are careful how they spend their hard earned cash, to get repeat customers is an accolade indeed. You always know you will get a good meal here, no matter which dish you choose. Believe me, I’ve tried most, if not all, of them! I have a friend who follows FODMAP and although they may not advertise on their menu, they are always more than happy to provide a suitable alternative dish. The service is second to none, the house red is excellent and I even asked about their background music so I could download it! We will be back very soon :-)

Just been for lunch for mother’s day lunch. Restaurant was really busy but we were served quickly and efficiently. We all had the Sunday lunch no complaints with it was plenty on the plate and just the right temperature to eat. Staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Very pleasant restaurant, not easily accessible if you have difficulty walking as up a steep flight of stairs. There may be a lift ( never asked). The food was excellent and they have a varied range of drinks on offer.

This is a nice restaurant and the food is good, if not fabulous. The room is pleasant and the staff are attentive and friendly. I would say that it is worth a visit. We went during their happy hour so the dishes were very reasonably priced. The only negative I can mention is the terrible music. A constant, and loud, background of electronic dance music thumping out oonce oonce oonce the whole time we were there. Not relaxing at all and not in any way linked to the atmosphere of an Italian based eatery. I would go back but if I heard that same music I'd head back down the stairs.

£70 for three course meal for 2 ppl and 2 drinks. Really quick service with freshly prepared and delicious food. Calamari was cooked well, not chewy. And the profiteroles were a real highlight! Lovely atmosphere with relaxing music in the background. Will be returning!

Visited just for a quiet midweek birthday meal for 2, and couldn’t have been more perfect. No fuss, extremely good food, extremely excellent service. Think places have forgotten how to do this kind of thing. This is honestly what an excellent honest high street meal is all about. Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful. And no unnecessary fussy extras. Felt like I was actually paying for what I was getting and not the things I didn’t want like fancy decor although it is a clean, smart, comfortable and relaxing venue.

One of the best Italian meals I have eaten in a long time. All food was fresh, hot and incredibly tasty. All at a reasonable price. I would thoroughly recommend.

Found this beautiful restaurant on Google and so pleased we visited. Very knowledgeable about gluten free food, even offered to separately cook a dish in fresh oil to prevent cross contamination. Absolutely amazing so impressed the staff were amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

First time in the restaurant tonight and very impressed. Food was great (only gripe and it’s a minor gripe was the Napolitana was a tad too salty but it was still great), the goats cheese and bruschetta starter was incredible and the tiramisu was good. It’s been lovely to resume dining in here after the lifting of pandemic restrictions. Our three courses were marvellous—excellent food, beautifully presented. The staff are so kind and friendly at all times, too. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful restaurant on our doorstep and shall be back very soon.

A delight to visit Gloria’s again. We now regard the staff as our friends and it was lovely to see them all again. The food was delicious in all respects and, though the restaurant was quite busy, there were no undue delays in serving us. A pleasure, as ever. We’ll be back soon!

We've had many takeaway meals from Gloria's during the pandemic but this was our first sit-down meal on the premises for some time. The usual high standards in food and service were maintained. The food was beautiful and not too expensive and the service on everyone's part was warm and friendly, as usual. We class ourselves as very fortunate to have a restaurant of this high quality in Prudhoe and shall visit again as soon as we can. Thoroughly recommended.

Met family here for an evening meal. Very attentive staff, friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. Food was beautiful but did feel like the drinks were a little pricey as this boosted our bill up quite substantially. Apart from that I would go back but maybe limit my wine by only a glass☺

We have eaten here on more than 4 occasions. Each time we have experienced friendly staff, super service , excellent delicious food and all reasonably priced for the quality of food we received. Our son's Italian partner really rates the food. That is some recommendation.
